The gentleman working the drive-thru was very kind and made sure to take my order carefully and repeat it back as there was a gluten allergy. He even opened the window back up to give me the order ticket for allergy purposes to make sure I knew he took it correctly. The only "negative" would be that there were no napkins in the bag. I am sure that this place has thrived in the past, they are on the struggle bus right now. The Steamer on wheat was only lukewarm, the soda fountain was in poor shape with very few selections even available. ( Out of Coke and Diet Coke!).. and my pickle wedge was partially frozen. Only after I placed my order, did I notice the water dripping thru the ceiling tile into a trash can and onto the tea brewing equipment next to the Ice machine. :( In retrospect, I should have just asked for my money back and gone somewhere else for my dinner. Don't eat here! We were on a road trip and stopped here because they have gluten free options for my husband and we knew it could be a quick stop. While ordering I noticed a fat centipede run across the floor, totally gross!!! 30 seconds after that my husband walked up to me and pointed out there was a cockroach next to my foot lying on his back, squirming, disgusting!!! Went there on two separate occasions a day apart. On each visit they were out of a main menu item. Staff was unfriendly and uncaring, just wanted to "get this over with" regarding my visit on the first time. Second time, they were out of what my wife wanted so she ended up with mac and cheese. The sandwich I ordered was tasteless drippy and awful. I could not even finish it. When we went outside we notice a dead bird lying on the sidewalk directly in front of the door. The staff showed no interest in removing it. There was a smashed sign next to the drive through that had the fluorescent lighting tubes visible. Overall this place is a dump and the staff could not give a damn about the quality of the food, cleanliness or customer service. The people in front of me had already got their food, ate, and left before I got mine. Here's the kicker...there was nobody else in the store the ENTIRE time! doing a road trip and this was our first time trying Firehouse Subs! it was very tasty and dare i say better than subway. i'm not sure what the other reviews are on about with the long wait time. this was at peak lunch time with a line in the drive-thru and a few people in the physical store, and we waited about 5 minutes max for 2 subs. even if it was a longer wait time, you've got to understand everyone is short staffed nowadays. everything in the order was right and it was all really yummy. we are looking forward to going to another location soon! read more

She was the only employee in the restaurant not wearing a mask which was surprising. After placing my order, she proceeded to make my subs while scratching her head and stomach, btw stomach quite visible with no gloves and an attitude. This place used to be good. However, it is under very poor management now. I ordered soup and waited 30 minutes. I went to the counter and asked what the hold up is. The person who appeared to possibly be the manager told the cashier to get me a bowl. There was only a tiny bit of soup. The cashier took the pan out of the water filled warmer and poured it into the cup along with all the water that had collected in the pan. I told her I did not want it. Good food and normally we have good service but not yesterday (August 12, 2017). My husband and I went to the drive-thru and ordered two sandwiches to take home. We ordered two sandwiches, the exact same way - 'extra cheese, no mustard' - my husband was asked to repeat the order twice and then the girl repeated the order to us twice - so that seemed like it would be correct, right??? (I should also note that we were the ONLY vehicle in the drive-thru and there were two other vehicles in the parking lot - so it's not like they were overwhelmed with 'special orders'). I love Firehouse Subs, but NOT in Tifton. I have eaten there both dining in and drive through and the service is always atrocious! I would always get drive through or dine in, twice a month from here on my way back home (Valdosta) from Church. One night, I called my son and asked him to call and order the food so I wouldn't have to wait so long. He called and was put on hold for 5+ minutes then the phone was hung up. He called back and they never answered. I wrote on the corporate site to complain and the Manager messaged me apologizing and offered me $25 to come back and eat. I told her I didn't think if wise to come with a voucher which I had received in apology for terrible service and I didn't want a sneeze sandwich. So, I never heard from her or anyone else from Firehouse. I now just buy sub ingredients and make them at home.
