Stopped by Sunday around noon. Three employees were working, and the man in glasses really stood out. He was handling both the condiments and cash register, working hard while remaining incredibly kind and professional with customers. Unfortunately, the woman working was repeatedly telling him to hurry up, shaking her head, and rolling her eyes at him in front of customers. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional to watch. Three stars because the man in glasses was AMAZING and deserves recognition. Two stars off for the way he was treated. I hope management addresses this and gives him the credit he deserves! read more

If you order with the app, don't expect it to be right. They make it their way, not yours. They can seem to read a ticket and act like it's your fault when you ask them to remake it. And then do it with an attitude. At least I could watch them make it. That attitude would make me think they would spit on it or something. read more

Stopped in on our way from ATL to Orlando and it's my husbands favorite fast food. But this was not fast. We were in line for over a half an hour. Food was fine. It's a chain - if you have been to one, you have been to them all, but just know this is not "fast food" if you are in a rush to get back on the road. Love the sandwhiches but its one girl who happens to be African American who is RUDE for no reason! I'm black myself so this has nothing to do with race! I only say that becsue I know the type of world we live in, people love to pull the race card. I'm new to the area and have been in atleast 4-5 times since moving down. The first interaction with her I didn't think much about it, just figured she was having a long day! That still doesn't give you the right to be rude but I gave the benefit of the doubt. Well, my next time going it was the same exact thing but worse! I've even seen her get rude with her co-workers! There was a nice innocent new girl having a hard time wrapping my sandwich and she didn't ask could she help her, she just grabbed the sandwich from the poor little girl, wrapped it with an attitude and put it in the bag. I think it would've been more respectful to just say "hey let me help you", or "do you want me to do it for you?". I can go on and on but you guys get the picture. I even asked a few people I know if they knew the girl at Jersey Mikes and they said yes, and that she wanted like that and that's just her personality. Her personality isn't for customer service at all, that place will continue to go downhill if she continues to work there! Saturday at 12:15 and a dozen or more people in line seems like a great time to take the meat slicer apart and slowly wipe it down in a leisurely manner. Eventually another employee asked if she could take our order. Would you like it "Mikes way"? I couldn't help but wonder if Mike had it "his way" with a few strands of that yellow mop out of his employee's head!! Where is the hair net?? What's that?? We got our sandwiches eventually and my club didn't have any bacon on it. Once I returned to the counter and had them finish making the sandwich that I originally ordered we had lunch. The sandwiches were pretty good. It's just what all you have to put up with to get lunch. Reminds me of exactly why I do my meals at home. read more

If you enjoy service laced thick with negative attitude, frequent eye rolling, huffing, and muttering under their breath, and long waits for your food while they give your food out to someone else, then I have the place for you! Jersey Mike's of Tifton, GA. Apparently we have a new General Manager and she has had the position "dumped on her" according to Corporate. I was able to determine that they have not been able to train the negative attitude out of her yet. Even better, if you haven't had enough by the time you give up on your order and walk out, you can contact Corporate and get in touch with Lindsey Kidwell, whom will repeat several times that she has 5 stores and all she can do is give refunds. I venture to say Mrs. Kidwell too may have had a corporate position (and 5 stores) "dumped on her". Mrs. Kidwell has been known to say things like "I'm not doing anything on the statements of one customer!", "You better not be recording this!", and "I'm contacting my attorney!". Mrs. Kidwell was so thoughtful during our conversation yesterday evening that she even saved me the trouble of pressing "End" on my phone and terminated the call. There were two employees at the location whom were very personable and worked hard to get everything straightened out but the GM just wasn't having it. I didn't contact Corporate for any sort of Gratuity, or Refund, but only to advise that there was a problem in their store. Tried to eat here today. Neon OPEN sign was on, door was locked, and a closed sign that looked like a 10 yo made it was taped to the door. I could see workers inside, so I knocked. A guy who I assumed was the manager came to the door. He said they were closed so they could "catch up" on app and phone orders. In my experience in the fast food industry, a manager would be broomed for that. We went to the taco bell across the parking lot, and watched as customer after customer was turned away. I hope the manager gets some much needed counseling. read more

A relatively new location and today I was craving a sub and was passing by Tifton so Jersey Mike's it was. I enjoy Jersey Mike's and have visited multiple locations. One bit of criticism is it seems the staff was not the best trained. They seemed a bit, I don't know, maybe confused on the assembly line process of building the sub, or maybe it was that they just were not truly paying attention to the task at hand. Either way, it wasn't the usual level of service I receive at a Jersey Mike's. Let me also emphasize that it wasn't that they were rude, it just seemed that they were "disconnected" from the whole process. Anyway, trying to be healthy, I had a turkey sub on a wheat roll. Not a bad lunch, but it was the little things. I opted not for a drink and they did not offer a water cup. Plus, I had enough points for a free sub, but they did not ask if I wanted to use my points. The issues were not enough to make me avoid here, but I would hope that management would invest a bit of training for their team. read more

I order a sandwich here 2-3 times per month. I love the quality. Although, this evening I walked in and the place was empty except for the two workers who never said welcome or hello or even may I take your order. I gave them the sandwich number and she finally asked questions concerning my order. Unfortunately she mumbled and I hade to ask her three times to repeat her question. Then she gave the sandwich to a guy whose pants were about to fall off his waste. He never made eye contact with me or said one word. Never did they say thank you or please come again. Not sure if this is a franchise or corp owned location. I certainly will not be surprised when this sandwich shop closes their doors permanently. They were extremely busy, both with online & in store orders however the 3 men working were patient, organized & efficient. Went in to order two sandwiches...been coming here for years and today was my last visit to this sandwich shop. Ordered a sandwich with extra cheese. One associate slicing was doing fine on his own when another associate took over, proceeded to take the "extra" cheese and put it on the mayonnaise that was on the other half of the sandwich. I'm from Jersey, been going to Jersey Mike's for decades throughout many locations in many states but have never had my sandwich made this way. I asked her what she was doing and she spoke to me like a child and proceeded to say "You people always coming in here and complaining." I thought to myself "You people" meaning white or just not African American? She then proceeded to explain to me what she was doing saying "you wanted extra cheese, right?" And that She was "layering" the sandwich. I looked at her like she was out of her mind and said just finish making the sandwich. She said she doesn't have to and refused and told me to basically leave the store and to not complain because she was the general manager. First, piss poor customer service. Second, using the words "you people" is racist. If the roles were reversed, I'd be accused of being racist. Finally, refusing to finish making my sandwich and basically kicking me out of the store was very unprofessional. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly at an establishment. My son actually has worked for a Jersey Mike's in Florida for several years so finding this poorly ran JM was disappointing. We stood at the counter and waiting for several minutes and we were the only people in the store. The employees completely ignored us and were busy "doing" other things. They also didn't have kids cups- they gave us a styrofoam cup with a coffee lid that wasn't very kid-friendly. Thankfully, we were just passing through and won't be returning. I arrived to find the location was very clean, and the service was prompt and accurate. I ordered a giant #10 (Tuna) on rosemary parmesan bread, and had them make it the mike's way (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt with black pepper pickles bacon and chili pepper relish. It was delicious and so filling. I was so full, that I couldn't finish the last bite. The staff who filled my order were Sal & Destiny (two of the managers). I rate this place a whopping bakers dozen 13 out of 10!!! I also noticed the health inspection score of 100. Since the management has changed this Jersey Mike's is my go to sub shop in Tifton. read more
