Being from Florida, I'm fairly familiar with Publix, and Meth. This Publix was pretty nice at the north end of a large plaza. We stopped in after an awesome local meal! I was with a group and we stopped in for some hotel supplies, but happened to be there the week of the hurricane, so water (our main need) was scarce. We did manage to get some bigger bottles which was nice. I didn't really shop for much else, but it's a nice store, with self-checkouts and regular checkouts, and everything a Publix has! read more

I ordered a jerk turkey and smoked gouda whole sub. What I received was a wrap instead of a whole sub. I went directly to their customer support desk and they were more than helpful. For starters the young lady at customer support immediately gave me a refund and contacted her manager. Her manager stated " Come back here once you get your sub and we'll give it to you free of charge.". The sub was delicious and couldn't be more satisfied with the service received. The pharmacy workers here suck. When you walk up to get helped they don't greet or acknowledge you. I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone would even look at me. In the middle of the day!!! read more

Be careful when they pack your groceries as they do forget to pack items, you will go home and will be missing items, call back and noone seems to be able to help, they bumped my call to 3 employees and each one responded " Let me see what I can do" then transferred my call and I had to explain myself 4 times, finally I went to Instacart and reorder tomatoes from Publix so I am able to prepared my planned meals on the weekend with my family. We have no other choice. I Spent another $40.00 , planning and cooking is my number one priority, it is my primary full time job so you can imagine how I feel missing one important ingredient because an employee missed to pack it for us. read more

I stopped here to get some cash and decided to go in. It's your typical Publix. Clean, fully stocked and well managed. It's no secret that I love this grocery chain! I was so happy to find it while doing a Yelp search. This location did Not disappoint me. Tifton pulled a Turn Up moment by opening this store here! So far i feel as if the pharmacy is going to be amazing. I just moved to this area and the nicest pharmacist or assistant called me and let me know when my medication would be ready and answered all my questions with such patience. I haven't even been there yet but after talking to her I just know i will love the pharmacy and it even makes me want to do my grocery shopping there now. I really appreciated the time she took with me. I hope i can do another review after I visit Publix on Monday and purchase my medication and do some shopping. read more

For literally the past 4 months every Thursday I come into the publix in Tifton, Georgia and get my check cashed from the bbq joint I work for next door. Well today I come in and nobody is at the front desk so I ask one of the employees there if the check cashing was closed and the older gentleman says very politely "no sir, I'll go check and see where they are." So I wait for about five minutes and some squirrelly looking little guy comes speed walking out from the back office where I'm assuming he shouldn't have been and I politely say "hi I would like to cash my check" which I have done multiple times before, literally every Thursday for the past four months as I said earlier. And he proceeded to tell me that they can not take hand written checks from payroll, that they have to be printed. Well I said that every other time I come in there is no problem cashing my check, which has always been written, not printed. And he just kinda blows me off and says well I don't know who has been doing that but they're not supposed to... well every time I have gone in there I've had a different person help me and they have had no problem cashing it. And as a college student who depends on that money it really makes me mad. I work hard and all I needed was my check cashed tonight, but that didn't happen because of some lazy associates that work at the publix in tifton Georgia. This is a great location right off the highway. It is a large, well stocked Publix. Everything you would expect including friendly employees, large produce section, clean & well lit. At least four people asked if I needed assistance (perhaps I generally look lost). We were even able to find several items not carried near home. Will be back. read more

Earlier today my 72 year old wife asked a Tifton GA Publix employee to put her mask back on before speaking to us. That employee rudely informed us that the atrium where the shopping carts were was considered outside, that she could not breathe well with a mask and that we should shop elsewhere if we had a problem with it. I stepped just inside the door and asked to see the manager. By the time he arrived the employee had put her mask back on and was busy at work. I guess he thought we were lying about what she said, since she had a mask on when he got there. He just said he would "talk to her", but declined to ask her over so that we could ask why she put the mask back on if it was OK to have it off in the first place. The manager didn't even attempt an apology, so we left without shopping there... and never will again since there is no excuse for rudeness in the customer service business. Nice sign outside clearly says "MASK REQUIRED". read more

Super Glad Publix is here!!!! I am so glad we finally have a supermarket worth calling our own. Fresh Produce, plenty to sample, great employees, new opportunities for jobs etc. The bathrooms are sparkling, I use to pray about some of the other stores bathrooms. I will say this...every line is open at Publix and I do mean every line! No waiting. It has been packed for weeks and eventually I am sure the crowds with die down. However, there have been plenty of times where I have walked in to Harvey's, Piggly Wiggly and that dag gone Walmart and there are like 100 people waiting and three lines open. Walmart claims they are worried about theft so they don't open all the lines. Most of their self serve lines are closed. I don't mind paying a little more in price at Publix becasue the customer service is there the seafood is amazing and the produce is there. I was driving 45 minutes to the Publix every two weeks so I am super glad to say that i now can directly contribute to my community. read more

Publix is still going strong with the best customer service and smiling, helpful workers. I find prices not high for the quality to get, and they take coupons and always has bogo free items.. Im loving our new store! Also wanted to point out how nice the parking lot is always clean and free of buggys.. unlike other stores im glad to know my car want have dents in the side from loose buggies.. Plus i love the fact that they cary out your bags for you.. Nice going!! read more

All the positives mentioned before remain in place. I love the breads and desserts. Right now they have a salad made of baby greens, sliced strawberries, glazed pecans and gorgonzola cheese that is to die for! Also, one can get an Atlanta newspaper if you get there early enough; wish they would order more because they were out by the time I got there today. read more
