Was here fairly recently. Impressed by what appeared to be two stores blended together. Quality of the product was excellent of course we had pecans. Along with other nutty delights, service was good and I'll be back. Been driving by this place in Tifton Georgia for years and years. Decided to finally get off the freeway and see what it's all about. I picked up several jams which were excellent. I had some small candies which I enjoyed too. Usually we stop here every time we are headed to Tampa. Always clean with various assortments of nuts ( pralines, chocolate covered pecans ) , jams , spreads , dips all flavors popcorn all types of treats. You will really get caught up lol this time i got some sweet heat popcorn chocolate covered and praline pecans. As usual they are great. Nuts yes I am that's why I eat nuts not just Pecans but all of them as you can't ever go wrong adding nuts to things. Coming here I had really intended on getting Pecans but it seemed like all the ones I saw were chopped but it's ok as I still got a bag to make cookies with but the real thing here for me was the peanuts as I got this huge bag of them. My bag of peanuts lasted me for quite a while meaning a few days as they are just always what's yummy to crack open. Of all the other yummies I found inside here it was all about the chocolate covered pecans they were scrumptious and just what's good. Overall this was a cool little shop that had just a bunch of goodies not just but related either. read more

Local Georgia pecans are generally always fresh and delicious as are these we purchased from Adcock's this morning. The pecans are from LOCAL farms which is so important. The retail store is just off I-75 making stopping while traveling much easier. My main reason for reviewing was for the service we received from the manager. She was a true Georgia lady...gracious, helpful and kind. Hopefully she hears about this review ... just tell her this was written by the coffee lady. read more

We finally did it! After seeing what seems like thousands of signs for Adcock Pecans headed south to Florida a few years ago, we stopped today while headed north. What a nostalgic place filled with what feels like old fashioned sweets, jams, chutney, candies, butters, and honey. There's canned/pickled this and that and even a souvenir section where you can buy coloring books and crayons for your kiddos (or even adults ). My husband bought some peanut brittle and it tastes like Christmas! Yum . I totally suggest stopping at this fun little old timey shop! You'll leave with some fun things to taste and try. read more

Back in 2017 on a trip home from Florida my wife was allured in by all the billboards for this place. It was every five feet it seemed. So we stopped in with the kiddos. Was alright enough place. Bunch of goodies to choose from. We got chocolate covered pecans, nuts cinnamon glazed pecans, and gummy alligators. Was supper expensive. Cost over $40 for all that. Cool place to see. Not cool on the wallet. The billboards work though. read more

Great pecans!! Just be aware that the freshest pecans are in November when they are harvested. That is why everyone sends them as holiday gifts. Their abundant selection of preserves, syrups, and other specialty items are delicious year round. My favorites are praline pecans and peanut brittle. You must try the Vidalia Onion honey mustard (the onions actually come from Vidalia, GA) and as a southerner just about anything pickled. If you arrive in the off season there may be fewer workers, but it's worth the wait. read more

No, the prices are not great. No, there aren't any sales. Yes, the billboards along I-75 bring in the tourists, & tourists often splurge. But, if it's a LARGE variety of Georgia foods you want, they are here! And parking is never an issue. Located very close to I-75, this business has a LARGE showroom. I stopped in on my way to & from Tennessee. I smiled often because the young cashiers said "Yes, Ma'am" multiple times over both visits. It was sweet:) It's a very clean & well-organized showroom. The women's bathroom was large & convenient, as was the cold bottle of water I purchased from one of two refrigerators. Prices are typical for this type of business-- on the high side. That's the only reason this extensive establishment didn't receive 5 stars. But I prefer to pay more for food products that local/state farmers have produced rather than support corporate stores whose management takes 70% of their profits out of the area. WHAT WILL YOU FIND HERE OTHER THAN KNOWLEDGEABLE EMPLOYEES? Many picante & hot sauces; marmalades; salad dressings; jams & jellies; BBQ sauces; steak & wing sauces; relishes; & preserves are on the shelves. Going Back to Chicago,IL from Clearwater Beach, Florida I do recommend getting the Pecans and variety of unique fruit and sweet Pecan Syrup that you cannot find elsewhere. I was overwhelmed on the variety of Syrup but I was on a budget. I asked the sales person what syrup is their specialty which was Pecan Pancake Syrup so I ended up buying it. I also wanted to try Sugar Cane Syrup but not enough money to purchase. If I go to another road trip to Florida I would stop here and recommend others too in traveling on the road or passerby in Tifton, Georgia. read more

I have bought products from Adcock Pecans for years!! I do a lot of baking and want the best pecans for the receipes. I discovered Adcock's on a trip home from SC to FL several years ago and have not used any other nuts for dbaking since. I order them online when I am not able to make the trip to pick up at their store. I have also enjoyed their pecan rolls, jellies and other candies and products! I have NEVER gotten anything but fresh products and a wonderful experience. Review is related to service. Stopped when driving home North from FL and seeing the signs on the highway. Walked around and commented how I was a little overwhelmed but no one offered assistance. We asked about pralines and were told by one person that they were being brought in. A few moments later, another person instructed them to stack them in the corner and deal with them tonight. No mention that a customer was interested in them and we were standing right there. Left without buying anything. One star for clean bathroom. read more

Road-tripping, as I call it, from Florida to the Midwest or East demands snacking in the car. I've driven this I-75 stretch countless times, and these Pecan signs always reel me in. I typically stop at those Plantation House markets, which have fresh products. However, this was my first stop at Adcock. The verdict is in ... this place rules! Lots of good Georgia-based products to pick up. There is truly nothing more appealing than fresh caramel popcorn with pecans. Yum. I also picked up some honey roasted peanuts. Yum. I picked up some salsa and some habanero hot sauce, too. This place also has a huge assortment of jams and jellies. I would strongly encourage making a stop. It's well worth the 10 or 15 minutes of traveling downtime. The workers are very friendly, and have that thick Georgia southern accent, which adds to the appeal of this place. read more

We have been stopping at Adcock's for well over 15 years. I have never found pecans that were fresher, meatier, or better. I purchase both the pecan pieces and the pecan halves for all my holiday baking and gifts. For the past 2 years, we have not made our trek to Captiva due to the pandemic, so I have had the pecans shipped to me. I will not purchase pecans anywhere else. In the past, I have purchased pecans from civic organizations and church fundraisers and I have ALWAYS been disappointed. I have NEVER been disappointed with Adcock pecans. I will be having Adcock pecans shipped to me again this fall. I usually buy at least 10 bags of their 24ounce size, more bags of chopped than halves--less effort while baking. I not only use them in pies, cookies and breads, but also love them straight out of the bag. read more

Yea, it's got a giggle worthy name for a store. Yea, it's definitely outside of the Perimeter and no where near Atlanta. Yea, it's got a ton of fantastic tasting pecans! Several little places south of Macon swear by their pecans, but Adcock seems to be a warehouse that has any type of pecan product you want, from traditional shell, paper shell, already shelled and packaged, toasted, cinnamon crusted, CHOCOLATE covered, pecan logs, pecan brittle...and those are just the nuts. Keep on looking and you'll find various jellies, cookies, butter, fudge and just a general all purpose store. Staff is pretty friendly and the parking lot is always full. It helps to that you'll know about Adcock 20 miles before you reach the exit from all the billboards, but fortunately they're just off of the interstate exit. The prices can be a little on the pricey side, considering I spent just short of $50 on pecan merchandise, but I walked away with a 5 lb bag of pecans in the shell ($24), a 10 ounce bag of toasted pecans, shelled ($6.50), a 4.5 ounce bag of cinnamon crusted pecans ($4.50), and a 12 ounce bag of pecan halves (already shelled) ($9). Bottom line, if you kinda like pecans, stop on in and check these guys out. If you love pecans, then you didn't need to read this anyway! read more

You'll find just about all of them packaged and available in many forms at Adcock Pecan. I have been stopping here for years on an annual trip to visit relatives in Florida but never thought about writing a review. We never miss a stop here to restock on our favorites. There are so many varieties of jams, jellies and preserves that it is impossible to try them all. Blueberries are grown in this area in very large quantities and I highly recommend their blueberry preserves as the best you can buy. My other personal favorite is their sweet pepper relish which goes perfectly with black eyed peas and cornbread. Pecans and peanuts are available in bulk, raw, roasted, boiled, as candy, as oils, as powders- you name it, they've got it. Sparkling bathrooms also make this a welcome stop on long road trips. read more

Was moderately disappointed with Adcock. I was hoping for more than just a warehouse vibe with boxes of bagged pecans and nuts. I would likely pass this one up and try some of the other nut shops along the way down south. The parking lot was also small and some delivery guy blocked us and another customer in for about 10 minutes so that made me rather unhappy. The pecans we bought were good though. Can't miss the signs coming down I-75 from Atlanta. We do a trip to Tennessee from Tampa, Florida every few months and have been stopping in Tifton the last couple of times for the overnights if needed. Last month, we decided to stop by Adcock Pecan to buy some Pecans and any other product. Walked out with about $130 worth of purchases. Parking: right in front on the side street it's on. Plenty? Wouldn't say that but probably enough spaces for the amount of customers they'll pull in at any given time. Layout: up and back through the store. Mostly nut "meats" in the back and flavored items up front with a mix in the middle. We bought pecans, shelled peanuts, peanut brittle, those peanut logs you ate when you were a kid and those roasted peanuts in a bag. Price: middle to low high. One of those places you go to that you can't always sit there and say, "well, last week at the local Food Lion these were going for $5.00 a lb, and here there are.." but they felt middle to low high on the price range. Quality of food was great. the peanut and cashew logs they had were excellent. One of those "where have these been my whole life". Go back: probably not every time through Tifton but maybe every other time. maybe every time for those shelled roasted large tins of peanuts. read more

I grew up on awesome peanut rolls from Arnold's Park at Lake Okoboji Iowa. They made them in front of you and we would be so excited to get a fresh one... These gourmet peanut rolls are as close as I have found in a packaged product. I have sent them as gifts to my Iowa friends and they are a HUGE hit. YUM Plus I had some sent to a friend at the Mayo Clinic undergoing treatment and they wrote the personal note as requested to her total delight. True customer service and a delicious product. Looking for time killers, we saw the place and stopped in. There are so many different types of jams, jellies and fruit butters it's exhausting. Lots of unique candies, confections, honeys, peanuts and of course pecans. Jams and jellies are about $4-$5 depending on type. Hot sauces were $3. Salad dressings were $5. Pecan rolls $2. I picked a nice package to have sent to a family member and it arrived in perfect condition within a few days. We selected a variety of pecans to go and they were all really fresh and delicious. The peach preserves was absolutely amazing and I wished I had bought more to take with me. Fortunately you can order more items online, so chances are most of my holiday gifts will be coming from here. On our drive from Michigan to Florida we saw the billboards for Adcock Pecans. My wife suggested that we stop, so of course we did. This is quite a facility with more varieties and types of P cons in different packages then I knew he existed. We purchased several different items and we're back on the road Once we arrived him were able to start enjoying the various peanuts and other nuts we discovered that things from Adcock were excellent. Lots of hype for all the signs but good place to get out and stretch. It's an old grocery store converted into a store that sells all kinds of sauces, syrups, candies, pecans, and peanuts. The staff is friendly the prices are on the high side of average. Wish they had some samples to try on some of the products. Would stop again but not go out Of our way to go there. read more
