My sister and I looked up their hours online which stated 8am-8pm. We arrived around 6:10pm and saw that they were packing up and flipped the sign to "closed". I was distraught! That was amazing. It was on the edge of a peach Orchard and they had beautiful produce. The owner, Mr. Lawson told me he picked these cucumbers the day before. I've got them working on some pickles right now. The tomatoes were so beautiful! My husband and I ate one last night. You can't get tomatoes like this in the grocery store. In the afternoon we bought some yummy housemaid peach ice cream, and sat on the rockers and just enjoyed! The staff there was so friendly; they exuded positivity and southern hospitality! Never washed them off. In order to verify, I asked the employee, and she confirmed they do not get washed. I definitely understand how soggy strawberries can get after being washed! However, I am very uncomfortable with the idea of not at least rinsing off some of the herbicides, pesticides, dirt, and insects that are on fresh strawberries. I'm sure I'm not alone.
