Updating to say: another summer in southwest GA and another trip to my beloved Burton Brooks! This time, I am especially grateful for the grace exuded by their employees. My sister and I looked up their hours online which stated 8am-8pm. We arrived around 6:10pm and saw that they were packing up and flipped the sign to "closed". I was distraught! Especially because we drove ~40 miles for the ice cream. I went up to the stand anyway and the workers were nice enough to still serve me. I am very grateful for their kindness and grace! read more

Brother I tell you wha, if this ain't the finest lil road stop east of the mississippi you gotta be trippin on dem bathsalts fam! Lovely little fruit and veggie stand in bumphuck egypt, near Adel, GA. When traveling through the part of Georgia I frequent, I tend to make a stop here. It's not a myth, GA peaches are farrrrrrr better than any other peach you've ever sucked on. But to hell with all the awesome fruits and veggies, I come here for the ICECREAM!!!!! People from the area say you gotta go with the peach, but I say you gotta go with the Blueberrryyy!!!! This place is awesome, and super friendly! Stop on by, you'll be glad ya did. 5/5 read more

A fantastic place to stop. Very relaxing, sitting underneath giant trees, eating homemade ice cream. 20 minutes from 4 towns.

Excellent peach slushie and peach ice cream. Down home southern atmosphere. just missed the southern Georgia downpour all outside seating was wet but found a covered barn seating area that was outstanding a great place to eat your homemade ice cream and enjoy yesteryear in the south. But warning don't ask the young employees about products, they don't know. For example was is Mathew? Don't know!!! Down home country!!! read more

My mom came to visit me from Jacksonville and we took a day trip to get peaches and canalope and homemade icecream. We picked blueberry and peach. It is so good on this hot day. read more

Fantastic homemade ice cream... Known best for the peach ice cream... A nice shaded yard with a few old classic cars to look over as you browse around. A working orchard, old farm equipment, and small market of watermelons, cantaloupe, boiled peanuts, tomatoes, etc.... A great little gem of southern living.... read more
