Y'all, do yourself a favor if even in Valdosta or driving through and stop by The Front Porch! We were looking for something sweet after a long day of baseball and holy smoke did we find it!! It's a small building on the main road, but you can easily miss it. You just order from the front porch, but there is an outdoor covered picnic area if you want to eat it there. We walked up and when my son saw the desserts, he said "I just drooled!" I looked down and that boy legit drooled on the porch or The Front Porch (I'll spare you a picture.) When Mrs. Lisa opened the window and told us what everything was, we didn't know how we would choose, and my son said "We'll have one of everything!" While we didn't get one of everything we may or may not have gotten a chocolate chip cookie, a cupcake, a slice of red velvet cake, and 2 red velvet Oreo brownies. I was sure we had just racked up a $40 tab, nope...$18. (I almost ordered more ) Mrs. Lisa was so sweet and had a beautiful story of how The Front Porch started, but that's her story to tell, so you'll have to stop and ask yourself! I have been to this bakery 4 times. The first 3 times were alright. The younger lady that works here was nice after learning i am military and new to Valdosta. The older woman was there the last time I came by and she was rude & made me feel so unwelcomed. She barely made eye contact with me and kept saying "what else" with an attitude and rushing me. I don't understand why you would treat someone trying to support your business this way. This business would benefit from learning hospitality, friendliness & welcoming guest. I unfortunately won't be back because of how the older woman made me feel. read more

Um, y'all, this place is IT. I'm a sweets fanatic and decided to come here bc it was so close to where we ate dinner. WORTH IT! I had a fancy peach toaster strudel thing, my daughter had the chocolate chip cookie, and my husband had a blondie brownie. Everything in there looked amazing. We will be back! read more

WOW AND YUM Ok y'all, this place is it. It's on my list of "when I come to visit the in-laws in Valdosta, I have to make time to come here an get some sugar". First big plus - everything is homemade - ice cream and deserts. And it's all delicious. My wife grabbed a cupcake - said it was "better than Publix" (high praise in her books). I had some banana pudding ice cream and couldn't believe it. How did they get ice cream to taste exactly like banana pudding?!? No idea - but it did. And I love me some banana pudding desert. Now I can have it in ice cream form. This place's ice cream can hold its own against any of the Atlanta institutions (Honeysuckle, I'm looking at you). The service was quick and the prices are right. I literally just bought the blueberry cheesecake ice cream and boy was I floored this ice cream is so delicious!

Delicious local cakes, cookies, brownies, and ice cream. We visited 4th of July weekend and they had several festive desserts in addition to their ice creams and shaved ice. I didn't get many pictures since my kids started devouring their delicious treats right away, but we all enjoyed the variety of items we ordered. The ice cream was slightly less creamy than we expected, but super delicious. Overall, we loved everything and are glad we took the very short detour off of highway 75 when passing through. read more

I was craving some baked goods and just happened to see the word cupcake on a sign. I was greeted by a happy face and she told me all about her little store. I got one of every cupcake flavor that she had at that time of morning and ate one on the way home. Plain vanilla. The cake was so moist and the icing was sooo good. Cute as a button and the staff is super helpful and friendly! We ordered ice creams, cake and boiled peanuts. Everything was good except the peanuts are very small and don't have much favor. We were sad! But I think everyone has different tastes when it comes to boiled peanuts. read more

Ok this place doesn't look like much but looks are deceiving. This place is a must if you are in need of a treat. The peach cobbler in a waffle cone topped with peach ice cream was amazing. We also tried to individual pound cake! It too was delicious, tasted like grandmas. They have cookies, brownies, pecan chewy, cupcakes and more! They are all freshly baked and looked delicious!
