We got an additional dozen because they were so tasty. Raw oysters - Well shucked. Very minimal shell pieces if at all. Fresh clean tasting. The varieties we had were called Sweet Jesus and Kuushi. Mignonette was delicious, light & tangy but not overpowering. Baked oysters - my sis ordered one Rockefeller and one Miso. The Rockefeller was "ok" but the Miso was "absolutely divine". Braised short ribs - absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes underneath was creamy and had a distinct cheesy taste. The meat was tender and flavorful. The greens brightened up an otherwise heavy dish. Linguine di Mare - very tasty. Pasta was well cooked and seafood was fresh and not overcooked. The accompanying toast (from local bakery/cafe Della Fattoria) was crispy and chewy and sopped up the cream sauce well. And that cream sauce. Absolutely amazing. Wish I had more of the toast to get all of that delicious sauce. Service - we did not have reservations but were seated quickly upon arrival. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Wade and Scott. 10/10 would recommend, would come again. Delicious fresh food, great service.

French fries off the bar menu were awesome but no Happy Hour offered in The Hotel only at the restaurant. Staff was OK but nothing memorable won't be returning. I started off at the restaurant bar and said we only wanted cocktails so we're directed to the Hotel area where a small bar was that serviced the restaurant.

Good thing Sonoma Market is known for their sandwiches and deli and fresh prepared meals. You'll find a really fun selection of local cheeses, condiments, produce, and baked goods that bigger grocery stores don't carry. You'll spend a little more, but the shopping experience is more curated and atmospheric, and the products speak for themselves. I stopped in recently while on a short trip to Sonoma, specifically for salsa, some kind of dip or spread for crackers, and a cheese or two. I spent awhile browsing because that's the best part, and left with exactly what I needed (proud and amazed I stuck to my budget haha). I bought a fantastic bleu cheese, brie, a cantina style salsa, and this whipped, layered, tomato-basil dip made of ground almonds, avocado, sour cream, tomatoes, and herbs. Kind of a lot going on, but it was so good. It's always fun to see what you'll find here. Like a locally made gluten free apple pie, the perfect bouquet of flowers, or a freshly baked loaf of sourdough.

A commitment to better food. The store could sell so much more food than it does, they have no idea. But people want quality food at the hot bar not what they have there now. Overall, the store is pretty good but they're hot food display is an absolute embarrassment for the store. It's always old picked over food or just empty. If you come in here at five 5 o'clock or after, it's always a disgusting display. Very sad to see.

I'm a big fan of spice, so I had the Mojarra Frita a la Diabla, and my husband went the safe route and ordered the shrimp tacos. The mojarra was fresh, spicy, and delicious! The sauce was a perfect blend of tang and spice. Very nice touch (cure) for the hangover lol The shrimp taco was also a winner. They do not skimp on shrimp. Ofcourse due to the shenanigans of the previous night, we over ordered and also tried the empanadas and the camarones a la cucaracha and oh boy, they did not disappoint! The roach shrimp lol were crispy and decadent. The green salsa the empanadas go with is heavenly spicy. Downside, there was a bit of a wait, but I can't really complain, it's always a good sign when folks are waiting in line at a joint. The attendant recommended I call ahead for next time. I think I may plan a road trip just to come eat here again! Safe travels and happy Eating fellow yelpers! Cheers!

Their produce at two price points of conventional and organic, their meat section offering all local and fresh options, their bakery is delicious and so beautiful, their deli with to-go food and sandwiches, and the soups are amazing, their taco and sushi bar, along with their hot food and salad bar all cannot be beat. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.
