We were looking for a new car to purchase and after visiting a few dealers in MA, where we could not make anything happen, we drove to Hartford . We stopped at Hoffman Porsche on a whim just to see what cars they had on the lot. We were greeted by Silvio, who took the time to learn what we were interested in and what would work for us. With Incredible courtesy and without pressure he showed us a few cars. After test driving a Taycan 4s, I gave him my trade in data and asked him to make me a fair offer for both a trade in as well as the Taycan. By the time I got home, he had emailed me everything needed and the next day we drove down with our car and a bank check to purchase the Porsche. In all of my years of buying many cars, this was by far the easiest, most professional and best experience I have ever had. We were introduced to the GM and service manager, who helped complete the process. I highly recommend this dealer, and I hope to do business with them again for my next car!!! read more

Pure Sleeze! Bait and Switch On Feb 7th Nicole Mooney accepted my offer of $80K for a BMW X5 PHEW, all taxes, fees, "out the door". See her email and her purchase order. I signed, and returned the purchase order which included $500 for registration. On Feb 11th, she emails and says "Our Registration Team got back to me" and she has increased the price by $1,782. This is after I had signed the purchase contract. Another sleeze move...You know how the dealers want a finance person to "Meet with You" so they can pressure you into accepting high margin add-ons? In the old days, it was rust-proofing that actually voided the manufacture's warranty? She would not send me the Closing Paperwork ahead of time! Why give the customer a chance to prepare when sleezy dealers can ambush them? BMW National should be ashamed of the Hoffman Auto Group. read more

Christian and Jose saved our family vacation! Our brake light came on two days before we were due to leave for Cape Cod with our family of 12 in tow. They worked their magic and got our brakes done all in one day so that we could pack up and go! read more

No call back from parts for two days. Still awaiting a call back from service for four months. Do not recommend their service department.

Be careful buying a used car, they have no conscience. Especially if you have good credit, they will rake you over the coals. I have nothing bad to say about the service department; they've been good to work with. read more

I brought my car in for service because of a recall and and the engine light was on. They had the car for 4 weeks with no loaner. The bill was $8500. The day after it was returned, the engine light went on and there were engine noises that were not there before. They kept the car for several days and said they replaced parts at no charge. Two days later, the engine light was on again. They have had the car for 1 week and done nothing. Because the engine light was on, I could not get Car Shield or Endurance, They have had the car now for 5 weeks total. They know that I am handicapped and have missed doctor appointments because of no car. They do not return calls. Their excuse is that they are understaffed. That is not MY problem. They took my money quick enough. This feels like a bad movie script and it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak with management! I guess court is next!!!! read more

We didn't agree on price, they offered $4,000+ under wholesale for my vehicle, significantly less than what Carmax had offered outright without a purchase ( I had gone get an offer for a base case of actual value). My newer trade was arguably in better condition than the older used Porsche that I had interest in. They did revise the offer upward, but the gap was more than I wished to spend at that moment. It is their job to book a good profit, so not unexpected. Pleasant to deal with, it was useful for me to test drive so not a total loss for me either. read more

100 Years of Trust? By Whom? A recent review of my repair order revealed systemic overcharging for parts. When confronted, the Service Director told me "Porsche is making us put up a $15,000,000.00 new facility, something has to pay for it." I was refunded, 30 days later, $1,610 representing almost 50% over MSRP for the Porsche parts. read more

We purchased our brand new convertible from Karan at Hoffman. Horrific customer service and Lou Haddad and Ethan are liars and deceitful. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY A PORSCHE from Hoffman. They charge for routine maintenance they don't even perform then deny responsibility. Unethical dealer. See hoffmanporschescam.com or more info on their corrupt practices. read more

My second time purchasing a car from Hoffman Porsche. Exceptional service from start to finish. I would not consider going anywhere else for the next one. The moment you walk in you are treated with the utmost respect from the exceptionally experienced staff. In times like these, service is so rare, not the case at Hoffman. At Hoffman is not just service, it's exceptional service. read more

I wish that I could provide ten stars for this experience. Karl, and the team at Hoffman are first rate. I want to thank Karl, and the team for putting my mother in the best care for her, and making our family very happy. The Porsche is an incredible product; to marry that with a great purchasing experience was invaluable. My mother needed a new car. After having a very difficult set of experiences with the large German car dealership group in the area, we were resolved to try a new brand. Karl, a lovely gentleman, at Hoffman Porsche made the process incredibly easy, and pleasant for us. From the moment we walked in he greeted us warmly, and gave us a great education on the Porsche brand, and the various models. He was patient, and listened. His passion for the quality of the vehicle, and the ownership experience was contagious. Even after the car was sold, as we did not have enough drivers, Karl drove the new car to our house, and did a second explanation of all the features. read more

Overall great experience. Madison was amazing! She made my purchase experience like a breeze. Thank you!!

I bought a Porsche here a year ago. I'm in Vermont, and the Mass dealer in Springfield doesn't have Porsche anymore, so I have to go to CT. Hoffmann's Porsche is a very small office. When I used to go to that Mass dealer (on previous cars I owned), the sales guy I dealt there with would stop by and see how things were. At Hoffman's, when I've stopped by for various services with Lou H. (a decent service desk guy), my sales guy at Hoffman's (I don't want to name him) could not care less and doesn't ever acknowledge my existence, even though he has seen me waiting there. If this is an example of a certified brand ambassador, please give me an uncertified one. I'd use pomposity as the best word to describe him. The whole sales experience with this Ambassador was less than pleasant. However, Porsche dealerships are hard to find, and my job takes me near here each month. Service is decent enough, though stratospherically expensive. I noticed that the car was clean and vacuumed the last time I had it serviced. The waiting area is very small, with just 2 seats near the tv. There is a coffee machine, but no snacks. The last time, I had a service loaner and it was a Porsche Cayenne, which was nice vs the wretched loaners I've gotten at other dealerships. When the small, shared dealers' parking lot is relatively full, It can be difficult driving into the lot sometimes through the narrow lane in front of their Ford dealership. Leaving the dealership, it's a breeze to get back onto I-91 North. It's about 65 minutes to the VT border when there's no traffic. read more

Great experience buying a used car! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. No pressure. Strongly recommend!!!

I recently had maintenance work done here . Normally I am reluctant to use a dealership for service as they are pricey and pushy. My experience was exact opposite and unexpectedly pleasant. It was a crazy time in between Christmas and New Years and Ethan handled my service with confidence ease and efficiency. He was very personable and offered many options that would suit my budget. I have a new outlook on service from a dealership due to such a great experience. Thank you Ethan!! I will be back Michelle Cory read more

Update as of 8/3: vin etching fee has been refunded This review is solely of JOSH GOMES, the finance guy who finalized my deal. JOSH, who did my bill of sale, REFUSED to remove the $299 vin etching fee, even when I had explained that this is an optional fee. He then preceded to lecture me about how the $699 conveyance fee that the dealership charges is also optional and yet I didn't mind paying for that, how everything else is (including the price of the car) is also optional, and that the fact that they had recently lowered the price of the car translate to this fee being non-negotiable. He then condescendingly showed me the carfax that i had already reviewed saying that this has been recently done hence I had to pay for it, which is NOT true. BUYER BEWARE THAT VIN ETCHING IS OPTIONAL EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADDED TO YOUR CAR, NEW OR USED. DO NOT GET FOOLED LIKE I DID, IF THEY MAKE YOU PAY THIS FEE, WALK AWAY IMMEDIATELY!!! "If a consumer objects to the charge, they will say that they already did the work and the charge has to be included. Don't fall for it! The cost to the dealership to perform this "service" is minimal, and a good dealership will agree to drop the charge. If a dealership insists upon including the charge, then a consumer should consider walking away from the deal. Why do business with a company that would engage in shady practices like that?" - Consumer Law Group. "Even if the vehicle has already received the VIN etching process, it is the consumer who makes the choice of accepting and paying for it." - CT DMV. On a positive note, the salesperson who helped me purchased my car, RON, was really friendly, helpful and I highly recommend him. He will ensure that you have the absolute best experience at Hoffman Porsche! read more

I came in today to browse for my new car possibly the cayenne due to our growing family. I was surprised by how honest and helpful the salesman really was, never pushy and answered all my questions. Great dealership from sales to service to parts. Everyone here is absolutely amazing and helpful! I have never felt so comfortable at a car dealership before. When ever I go in, when my fiancee allows me, I always enjoy the experience. Parts department is especially helpful. They are always more than willing to go the extra mile to locate a part if they do not have it in stock. These guys are spectacular. They never try to up-sell and are always honest on services/parts that you really need. I would highly suggest Hoffman Porsche to anyone interested!!! read more

I have been doing business with Hoffman Porsche since 2011, after leaving another Porsche dealership I was unhappy with. Since then, I have bought numerous Porsche, including SUVs, various 911s, including my present Turbo S, and just recently a Panamera 4. My experience there has been nothing but pleasant. Ric Nanni somehow convinces me that I need a new Porsche and does a great job at it. Josh always comes through with a deal I cannot refuse. Ethan and Lou as the service experts, couldn't do a better job at addressing my needs. They ALWAYS go out of their way to make sure I am happy. Whenever I am in there for service, all personnel...even the other salesmen...take the time to say hello and have a conversation with me. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. YOU SHOULDN'T BE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE TO BUY A PORSCHE! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but when you have an experience as good as I had...it is only appropriate to share. I went into Hoffman Porsche and met with Edward Hahn. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left he was a consummate professional. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I will never use another dealership for any of the makes and models I purchase in the future. Edward has absolutely sold the Hoffman brand and is a great representative of the company. He will have my business in the future. Thanks Hoffman's for hiring such a talented employee and giving me such a great experience. read more

I've been taking my Cayenne to Hofmann Porsche for service for over 8 years now. I continue to return because they are the best! They also have a comfortable waiting area with the best latte coffee machine maker :-). read more

Generally, I do not write reviews unless of an extremely bad experience or in contrast, an exceptional one. First - My sales rep is Karl Werner. Originally interested in purchasing a certified Cayenne, Karl helped me with finding this car. A few options came up but not as I wanted. After several visits and being indecisive on exactly what I want, ending up with a test drive of a Macan S, I was hooked. Finally, I decided on ordering a 17 Macan GTS. Karl's experience and expertise helped me order this car exactly the way I wanted it. After three long months the car arrived. Over all, I could not be happier. Karl's patience, understanding, knowledge.... (I can go on and on).. was exemplary. I know where I am going for my next Porsche when the time comes! read more

like any guy who likes his Porsche, when there is a problem you want it fix fast and well. The service at Hoffman Porsche is excellent, small or big, they are very prompt in solving any problems with professionalism. When you call, they know you, they know your car history, you really feel like they are family.Often time, if it is possible they will go beyond in trying to help you: last time although my car was out of the warranty, but still a relatively a new car, they had Porsche covering the repair. So if you are on the market for a car, or you need your Porsche serviced, this is the place to go. And a special remark for Ethan Gombossy and Lou in service for their professionalism. read more

I just purchased my first Cayenne from Hoffman Porsche. I have previously only owned Mercedes. Great experience in service! Ethan and Lou were very helpful with problem I was having with my Carrera 4S. Highly recommended!

Where do i begin? I first saw an advertisement on cars.com for a vehicle that was just traded in. No information was listed so i decided to give Hoffman Porsche a call. I spoke to Heather Meade and requested information from her which they did not have. She took down my information and quickly returned my inquiry with a phone call and an email literally with in an hour or so. The vehicles was listed at a lower price which was a mistake, but Hoffman honored the lower price. This alone was amazing because they could have easily blown me off and gotten much more for the vehicle as it was in "Like New" condition. Heather then transferred me over to Edward Hahn, a Senior Porsche Specialist. Edward Hahn answered all my questions and was very informative and knowledgeable with everything that i needed in order to make this purchase. One day later, i took the 3 hour drive to Ct to pick up my vehicle. The entire process took less than 10 minutes, there was no hassling of prices or extended warranties (even though i did request one). The entire staff was more than helpful and friendly, offering us beverages and a comfy seat where we could just lounge and relax. These people at Hoffman are not sales people, they are car enthusiasts that just happen to sell cars. i would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a great experience and an amazing vehicle. read more

Porsche Pre-sales Check with Ethan Gombossy - I was recently considering the remote purchase of a Porsche 911 Turbo. I wanted a full check out prior to purchase and called Hoffman Porsche. Ethan communicated with me during the entire process (scheduled car for inspection, received car, visual inspection results, etc.). I was so impressed with his prompt and proactive communications as well as, his detailed description (even sending pictures). Ethan spoke to me about the options and his recommendations. I would highly recommend Hoffman Porsche to anyone that is looking for courteous, professional, and detail-oriented service experience. Just speak to Ethan and you will know what I mean. read more

Stellar...... That's what I say about my Porsche buying experience from Hoffman Porsche. From the first call to my outstanding salesman Ric Nanni the experience was informative, smooth and thrilling. It was simply a great experience from start to finish and I am already contemplating my next buy in 2 years and won't consider going anywhere else but Hoffman as long as Ric is my salesman, I trust him! read more
