I wanted to wait a little while to give a full review about my experience at Stephen Cadillac GMC. I bought a new GMC Terrain from Mike Collins at Stephen Cadillac GMC in March of 2015. The car was a dealer car that came with all of the factory warranties, bells and whistles. My fiancé and I went to look at a few terrains that were on the lot. Mike met with us to start us out in a 2013 used terrain. Mike was very friendly, not pushy and very cordial. We went for the test drive and he struck up a good conversation, and made us feel very comfortable with the test drive. When we returned, we also tried out a newer terrain with less miles. We were very interested in the newer model, but the price was a bit higher then we wanted to spend. Mike and the folks at Stephen Cadillac GMC worked very hard and were very receptive to offering us the best deal we could get. Being this was a dealer car, we were able to use our "Current GM ownership" which took a great deal of money right off the top. Mike the worked with is further to tailor the price and finance details to a place were we comfortable. Financing was easy and fast, paperwork was straight forward and there was no back and forth with Mike or any "manager" about deals. Their prices were the lowest around on the Terrain and they made it more affordable when we got there. We were able to drive away in the car that same day. We get two years free maintenance and the two times I have been there thus far, it has been quick, easy and helpful. Additional parts inquiries have also been easy. Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Stephen Cadillac GMC and look forward to business with them and Mike Collins in the future. Mike has also called me personally on numerous occasions to ask how we like the car and engages in a personal conversation with me that makes me feel comfortable about the business I have done there and the business I plan to do there in the future. read more

My 2015 SRX (purchased brand new) seems to have tire issues from approximately 1K miles on the odometer reading. It is always showing a tire that needs air. We have asked the Dealership on several occasions to check them. In addition to our visits at Stephen's, when they aren't able to squeeze us in to check them off cycle when we get the message; we have gone to Firestone. It appears that FIRESTONE found the problem on one of the tires. There is flaking where the tire fits into the rim causing the seal to be compromised. We now have another soft tire. If I hear one more time it is because of the cold weather--I think I'll trade it in. I've lived in the Northeast ALL MY LIFE! This is the first car that I nearly paid as much for as my first HOME where it is so 'sensitive'. I'm beginning to think I have a 'snowflake' vehicle that might require a safe space, a therapy dog and perhaps a cup of Hot Cocoa--LOL! read more

I brought my 2012 GMC Terrain to Stephen GMC because it was burning an excessive amount of oil. Turns out this is a systemic problem with 2011-12 Terrains which the dealership admitted to. GM has a protocol in which the vehicle was monitored over a period of 2-3K miles as to oil usage. While I had to bring the vehicle back to the dealer a couple of times just to have the oil level monitored, this did confirm the problem and they replaced the pistons and rings at no charge. Basically, whether or not the sales representative is offering you the best deal or simply taking advantage of you. My concerns were quickly laid to rest after meeting Marty Hall. The last car I bought from Stephen was the biggest piece of junk I have ever gotten there.After two months we had to get rid of it in Flordia. That being said I will continue to bring my cars to Stephen for service. They are very professional, friendly and honest. They get the vehicle done when they say it will be done.
