Yelp keeps letting them remove my reviews, so I'm going to post a picture from my last time there. They washed my car with the temporary paper floor mats they use covering my gas can. Pieces are is still stuck there more than a month later. This is the smallest thing that's happened. Each time there's an incident, one of the times they held my car hostage for six months! The last time they tried to contact me they called my sister. It's not that they don't have my number, they just consistently mess up the accounts and call different members in my family. CAR OWNERS BEWARE: I brought my car for an oil change to a different place when my mileage reached 21k miles. This new place told me that my tires had wires showing and uneven ware which was a complete shock. Prior to this, I brought my car to Crowley Kia Service for my oil change twice. Once at 7k and then again when it reached 14k miles. Each oil change cost me $90. To make matters worse, I learned (too late now) that tire rotation isn't even included in this pricey service, which is standard at most reputable service centers. Because they didn't rotate my tires (and didn't even mention it or recommend it), I'm now looking at having to replace my tires on a car that I bought brand new in April of 2024. Completely unnecessary and frustrating. I expected better service and value from a dealership -- especially one representing a major brand like Kia. I can't recommend Crowley Kia Service to anyone who cares about their car or their wallet. Save your time and money -- go elsewhere. read more

The salesperson I worked with, Rolando, defied every negative stereotype I had about used car dealers. Knowing that I was a two-hour drive from the showroom, he agreed to do all the negotiation on price with management upfront so that I wouldn't make the trip for nothing if we weren't in the same range. He asked me what price I would consider: I told him and he got it approved. I was apprehensive about buying a car sight unseen so he went out to the lot, took detailed photos, and answered every question I had candidly. I have never written a review before, but I want everyone to know about my recent experience with Crowley Kia. Because of this, I will NEVER go to Crowley again. I had a problem with my 2025 K4. I was told by their service department that it was going to take at least a few days to figure it out. They lent me a K5 loaner car. I have a little grassy hill that we must drive on, to turn around. The first time I had to back up, I heard something. The front lip bumper came off. It popped off quite easily. When I looked at it, the bottom was scraped pretty good and several of the hinges that held it on had popped off. The little hill I went on did not have anything but grass, so I knew that whoever drove it before me had popped it back on without telling anyone. It had 7000 miles on it, so someone tried to get away by just putting it back on. I also was able to put it right back on, but I was afraid it would come off in traffic while driving and it might cause an accident. So, I put it in the trunk and when it came time to bring the car back, I told the woman in service what had happened. Although I knew I did not cause the damage, I was willing to pay for the part because it was my word against theirs. I had an idea of how much it was going to cost. So, the woman in service told Scott, the service manager what had happened. He told her I would have to pay for the part, but there they were not going to charge me for labor. She told me it was going to cost $250 plus tax. I questioned it because I had looked quickly online about the approximate cost and it was around $100. She said that was the cost, so I paid it. I went home and looked up the part number on the Kia website, and it said the MSRP was $121.52. I called the next day to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't in, but someone would get back to me. On Friday morning Scott called and asked the problem. I asked why I was charged so much. He told me he would talk to the parts department and get back to me shortly. He never did, so Monday morning I called several other Kia dealerships and asked their parts departments how much it would be if I came in and bought the part. I gave them all the same exact part number, and they all said the same thing-It would cost me $121.52. I called Mike, the general manager. Now I was getting irritated. I explained the problem and asked again why I was charged that much. He told me he would get back to me. A little while later I received a call from Scott who said he would take $50 off. I told him that was unacceptable and to refund the entire amount. He laughed and said you admitted you broke the piece. I made it very clear to him that I did NOT break the piece, but I was willing to pay a fair price and wanted to know why they charged me $250. A little while later, Mike, the general manager called me back and said he would take $75 off and no more. In the meantime, Mike and Scott had both said several times that I was not charged for labor. I told Mike that the other dealerships were charging $121.52, so why was I charged $250. He said we must pay someone to put it on. I reminded him that both he & Scott said several times that I didn't have to pay for labor. He started raising his voice and said we didn't charge you labor. He then said he could not go any lower than $75 back. They are on a recorded line. He kept asking me if I was ok with it and I made certain to say more than once that I was NOT ok with it. What I am wondering is, did they try to take advantage of me because I woman, or was it because I am older, or is this something they do to everyone? How do they treat customers who can't understand English very well, or someone who is elderly and doesn't know any better. If I was not charged labor, I should have only had to pay $121.52, not $250, plus tax bringing the cost to $265. They are still making a profit, because they didn't pay $121 for the part. I reached out to Ken Crowley and never heard back. They don't care about their customers. I will NEVER go back there, and neither will anyone else in my family. Not only that, but the problem also I was having with my car, that they had for over week, is still not fixed. They supposedly replaced a part, but now I am questioning it. They are not to be trusted. If you insist on getting a Kia, go to any other dealership. read more

I have a recall issue on my vehicle and not one person would return my phone call after leaving voicemails for 2 separate service managers. I was placed on hold for 25 min and 7 seconds, I was spoken over and hung up on twice. Extremely disappointing for a company of this scale! Actual service is on vehicle fine. The whole process of finding out status is poor. I was first told a 1-2 hr job. I brought coffee etc to wait for car. Then told 2-3 hr job. I got a ride home & told driver I'll need apuck up car is ready. I had a ride set up but my frien ended up at hospital After 4 hr wait, I decided ti call. Note, If you call service dept you get voice mail. Then try again, same thing. I try the operator, on hold etc, she told me, advisor will call me back in a "second" he's just finished with a customer. Then 11 minutes later, he called & told car is ready. Now I'm cranky, he as the audacity to tell me, he won't speak to me if I'm angry. I have every right to be mad about the run around, Poor customer service. I ask when can I get picked up to get car,he disconnected the call. He does call back, I'm told 1-2 hrs if not longer. WHY don't they tell customer this is all day, not 1-2 then 2-3 but 4 hrs later you have to track service dept . I only go there for recalls because of this. read more

I HATE this dealership. They are always significantly overpriced when compared to other dealerships. I gave it a try again now that I'm looking for a new car, but I definitely regret that choice. They have online prices for the cars, but they won't honor them. That's only if you qualify for ALL the rebates (military, etc). Also when their salesman texts you a price and tells you to come in, they won't honor that either!! Classic bait and switch! Sorry but this girl is not going to be your victim. See for yourself in my photos. Price of the car I wanted was advertised as 32,499. They wouldn't give me that, instead quoted 33-something. They said via text that the lease payment would be in the 390's for a 36 month, 15k mile/year lease with 3k down. The finance manager came out with a $498 payment for a 12k mile/year lease. NO F-ING WAY!!! Then they kept me waiting just sitting around chit chatting. The guy who originally texted me tried to cover his ass telling me he told me on the phone that there were taxes and fees on top of that. You know how I know he didn't tell me that?? Because we never talked on the phone!! We only texted, so obviously I have a record of the entire conversation. Ultimately, the finance guy refused to honor the price I was quoted for the lease, or the online price for purchase. Best lease price he came up with was $437/month, no thanks since you quoted me 390's. I walked out and I am done, I will never go back. Please educate yourself before going to car dealers and do not let them rip you off like this!! There are many other more reputable dealers that don't try to scam their customers like they do at Crowley. Don't buy there extended warranty, had my collision sensor go on they said it was due to front end collision. Haha sons friend hitch touched it and broke 1 piece of plastic on the grill and they told me brackets were broke bunch other shit $6000 all due to front end collision. This place is a rip off, filled with bullies who work there! My mother got a very bad deal and before she took delivery of the car she said that she didn't want the car it was an awful deal. The sales person Will Johnson told her that she had no choice but, to take the car which she still refused. Manager Kalanni told her that he was going to go to her house and force her to take the car. They actually threatened a 72 year old woman. She then spoke with a manager named "Mark" who was less than helpful and interrupted more than he ever listened to anything that my mom was saying. We actually had to involve the police, their behavior got so bad! It is pretty sad if you can't sell cars at good deals for people, as soon as they realize how bad your deal is, you get aggressive with them then try to force them into the deal. I highly doubt that they would be that aggressive if they were standing in front of a full grown man. These people are nothing but a bunch of bullies! read more

HOLY CRAP, Crowley Kia are a bunch of jerks - or more accurately, the manager is a massive jerk. The salesman I was dealing with is fine. In trying to get this sealed, I've had a couple of dealers inquiring about cars. They wanted me to show up with CASH - not give a credit card over the phone, but withdraw and bring CASH, or wire them the funds for the down payment, either of which gives me NO protection, and carrying that much cash is rather dangerous and besides, I'd need to file forms asking Uncle Sam for permission to withdraw my own money because of our moronic unwinnable war on drugs, so it would take days for me to withdraw that much from a personal account in cash after filling out forms asking "mother may I." I'm trying to get this purchase done and over with after putting it off waiting for Kia to get the car right and I was hoping to be driving the car tomorrow or Friday; I had actually put in for the day off tomorrow to drive to Bristol to make it happen. Because I mentioned to them I've also been talking to other dealers, they refunded my deposit and refuse to sell me a car. They accused me of being a "tire kicker" and "not serious about buying a car" and said they "will not sell a car to anyone who is talking to multiple dealers." Really? In the middle of a supply-side shortage you're offended that customers have the nerve to talk to multiple dealers trying to get a car that is in short supply? Are you freaking mad (as in insane)? Funny, the local dealer (whom I ultimately bought a Stinger from when their allocation came in six months sooner) had no problem with my calling around. Crowley are a bunch of snowflakes. Good grief. I was employed by a company where ethics took a nosedive, so I was in a mad rush to get my financing secured so I could leave that unethical swamp. I got the loan signed, took delivery, and when everything was finalized I went full whistleblower on the company, blowing the lid off the ethics issues, and I was also trying to stall recruiters who were breathing down my neck. The job change was life-changing in many ways, and I was in an urgent need to get the car purchase done quickly, to get myself out of an unethical work environment because I will have no part of facilitating offshoring and training "right shored" replacements to do unethical work. At the end, over half my old team followed me to my new employer - I was losing a lot of sleep at the time, worried about my junior colleagues, and knowing what was going on in ELT at that shithole company. (13 months later, they FINALLY sacked that unethical hack of a CEO) THAT is why I was trying to rush through the car purchase because it was an urgent need. You assumed evil on my end, when all I was trying to do was buy a $56,500 car from you and not trying to talk you down from MSRP because I felt that given shortages and limited stock for dealers to move, MSRP would be a fair price. ================ It turned out to be a happy accident that Crowley Kia screwed me over - because two days later my local dealer who encouraged me to shop around given the shortage, had an allocation unexpectedly arrive several weeks early. I immediately put a down payment on my car and cut my trip short so I could get home and to the bank to drive the car home that Saturday. I bought a 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 w/Scorpion Package with all available dealer options (apart from the stupid ashcup) from a dealer local to me, before they even got the car off the truck. Crowley, your GT2 was not the Scorpion Package, so ultimately you did me a favor and helped me get the best of the best of 2022 Stingers. I've now had the Stinger for 13 months, and I am very, very happy with it, and I am very happy with my dealership. In fact, even though I have a decent tool set, ramps, and know how to turn a wrench and usually maintain my own cars, my local dealer has treated me so well that I take the car to them for maintenance (except the air cleaners, which I clean and oil myself). Your loss, Crowley Kia. Instead of making $12K+ on the car between markup, dealer holdback, bonuses for moving a higher-tier car, and residuals on the financing, all you got out of this is one pissed-off customer who still, 13 months later, tells anyone interested in a Stinger, Telluride, or EV6, to NOT under any circumstance buy from Crowley Kia. if I could leave NO stars I would. my daughter's Kia minivan was towed to Crowley Kia because it was running badly - in limp mode. it was a 2016 and they told her she needed a new engine, transmission work AND new catalytic converters and quoted over $20,000! The van was towed to someone sane who diagnosed that the cats had broken down and filled the exhaust pipe completely so the engine couldn't run! once cleaned out, the car ran perfectly! I recently purchased a new SUV from Crowley KIA in Bristol, Ct. Before bringing it in for its first check-up/oil change, I called to confirm that this appointment was complimentary based on what I recalled the salesman saying to me during the purchase discussion. The phone agent I spoke with said there was no note the appointment would be comped and then then checked on it. He said the salesman, Luke, did not recall saying this to me. The agent also said he was told they would honor my recollection of the promise of comped service. When I arrived for the appointment I again asked Jose, the service center agent, about it being comped and he told me he would check on it. It wasn't until it was time to pay that he said it was not comped. I've had follow-up email and phone conversations with the Mike, the General Manager. I wrote a detailed explanation of why I believed the appointment would be comped, including many more details about my prior communications which I'm not including here. The General Manager refused my request for a refund of the service call, stating that his salesman did not say what I recalled. From my communications and conversation with the GM I came to feel he did a cursory check on the information I presented, basically saying (and this is a near quote) 'my salesmen would never say that'. I said that may be true but TWICE I checked on the appointment being comped, opportunities to correct the information, and his team failed. Rather than the GM saying something like "I'm sorry this happened. It's possible you misremembered your conversation with Luke, but as you provided us with enough opportunities to correct the mistake, and we didn't, I will issue a refund." Instead the general manager implied his team did nothing wrong. I disagree. Strongly. This is alack of integrity at Crowley and being dismissive of my information is why I will not be returning to Crowley again. read more

Following the horrendous experience detailed below I continue to chase around for refund of deposit I put down. Over a week since I was assured deposit would be canceled, simple reverse transaction back through my debit card and still haven't received refund. Checked my bank just to be sure wasn't held-up on their end - it's not - Crowley just hasn't issued any refund. Be very careful if choosing to work with this dealership. Integrity isn't one of their core values. Events: Visited dealership with every intention of buying new, 2023 car same day - w/o even needing test drive. Found acceptable car on lot. Put down $1,000.00 cash down payment while agreeing to an additional $9,000.00 in cash pre purchase. Total $10,000.00 cash DP. 5 days later left work early, returned rental was using while car was prepared for pick-up then set out to assume ownership of vehicle. During trip to Crowley finance manager called me to start paperwork. After several sessions on hold was informed sale could not go forward due to back taxes not paid. I stated might be a error or system glitch, assuring him taxes were current. Again put on hold for him to 'see what could be done'. At this time original sales person called. I questioned why I was not informed of the purported tax issue during 5 days prior to the 20 minutes before picking-up car? Screaming at me salesman stated it was not dealership's fault I did not pay $243.00 city tax bill. Nothing I tried could deescalate his anxiety. Call ended by salesman hanging up on me. Several other representatives called stating they tried calling me all day w/o receiving answer. Phone records do not support this. Anyway, returned home, now, due to return of rental, w/o transportation to work tomorrow. Got ride to alternate dealership and was able to complete a transaction. Although not in color I'd prefer. Will be taking delivery of car in couple days once detailing complete. This dealer didn't find any delinquent tax records. His experience leads him to believe Crowley sold 'my' car at a higher price than was offered to me. Then, needed reason to justify not selling as agreed. This is supposition - no proof. But honestly what else could it be? City tax accessor states I don't owe the purported taxes. Anyway, just be aware of this practice & leery of Crowley in particular. read more

I am not usually one to write negative reviews, but my experience purchasing a vehicle with Crowley was so poor that I felt obligated to share. I was purchasing the vehicle from out of state and wanted to pay with cash. We negotiated the price down a couple hundred dollars to seal the deal on the phone and I agreed to purchase the vehicle. I traveled via public transit for 3 hours to get to the dealership and when I arrived to test drive the vehicle, they told me they could not honor our original agreement and raised the price on me. This was the first strike, but I had already invested so much time Crowley said they would throw in free crossbars to make it up to me. I thought this was nice of them and was pleased to hear this. Fast forward one week after owning the vehicle, I noticed one of the crossbars was loose off the roof rails due to a cracked plastic compression piece. I hadn't actually used the cross bars yet and I knew they didn't provide me a new set of crossbars due to the large amount of rust I noticed on the screws. I also have a hunch Crowley knew they were broken when they installed them and this was the second strike. The third strike had to deal with obtaining my out of state registration and plates. I paid hundreds of dollars to Crowley (or their third party company) to have them take care of this and they assured me all DMV paperwork will be handled and I will receive the registration and plates in the mail. When the temporary plate expired after a month I asked Crowley where the official plates and registrations were and they told me that the DMV was backed up due to Covid and it could take up to another month. OK, thats reasonable, so I waited another month and was told that it was still in "DMV sent status" and they were handling it. OK, fine, I'm a patient person. Another month later, a friend of mine was at the state DMV to get plates and registration for his new car and had no issues or delays. Curiously, I called the state DMV and asked about our registration status and the DMV told me they hadn't received anything regarding my vehicle and had no data on me anywhere in their system. It was obvious the error was on Crowley's side. I called Crowley again and asked where the plates and registration were and I got the usual "blah blah DMV delayed blah blah" excuse. I explained how I just spoke with the DMV and that they weren't delayed and told Crowley they needed to resend my info immediately as I was out of patience. A few days later, I got a message from Crowley that my plates were in the priority overnight mail with the tracking originating in Bristol CT. This means Crowley let this fall through the cracks and they were too lazy to check up on it despite numerous inquiries from me. Buyer beware- this dealership seems apathetic and thinks their customers are fools. I would not recommend them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Crowley KIA. This dealership goes all out to make the customer very happy. My recent visit was because of a faulty oil sensor. They were thorough, and timely. The cost of the repair was under warranty, and I was out in about 3 hours. It was a longer wait than I expected, but I am okay with that if they fix what was wrong and I don't have to come back. They also did my fluids, and now I'm good to go for another six months. Thanks for taking good care of my car. My wife is a KIA Niro customer now, and you have solid ownership loyalty. read more

Hi, I am not one to write negative reviews out of spite or because I got my feelings hurt. But I feel I need to document this. I am looking for a new car and casually browsing online for my best options. I still don't know if I'm going to lease, buy new, used, pay in cash, finance with the dealership, or finance with a private firm. There are lots of variables. Not to mention the type of car I want... that is a whole another issue. I plan in having all the relevant info in about 3 to 4 months. I looked online at Kia Crowley, once... once. Only once, and asked for a equate so I could see where I stand financially. They asked for my email and I was kinda not feeling it, didn't want to do give them my e-mail. But I thought, what's the big deal, let go of the "used car salesman stereotype". I gave them my email. What a nightmare. Every week I get at least 4 emails on my personal account, asking for more information and what they can do to help. I have not responded because... I don't have to. I have no obligation to a salesman who is trying hard (too hard) to push me into something I am not even interested in. I don't have to discuss this with a stranger. I will not be forced to engage. The emails are getting more and more "passively aggressive". As if the salesman is doing everything in his powers to get me to respond. I do not have to answer any emails from salespeople. If I didn't respond, too bad, move on, and go for the next customer that gave you some feedback. Don't be rude and constantly harass me by sending endless emails. This is the kind of dealership that makes people HATE going to buy a new car! Started out ok, w/ a call to dealership to make an appt & verify that the car we wanted was still available. Spoke w/ Kalani, who was very nice. He set an appointment for the following day & told us he wouldn't be there, but someone else would help us. We needed a car ASAP, as my husband's car no longer worked. We meet with Luke. He takes some basic info & we go to test drive the car, which he couldn't find. You'd think they would've had it ready for us, being that we had a set appt. After about 10 minutes, he realizes the car is right in front of him, & we go for our drive. Back at the dealership, Luke starts to discuss financing. We still weren't sold on the car, as it was used & had some minor wear & tear. Asked questions about the car, he had to go check with someone else for almost every answer. Not very professional. Back to financing. I tell him we want to go through our bank & not them, he badgers us about that a few times. Comes back out with an empty contract to sign & says we'll fill it in when we pick up the car. Hold on. We need to see some numbers. This guy brings in a screenshot on his phone, w/ random numbers on it & no explanation. Had to ask to see the numbers broken down. Comes back w/ a plain sheet of paper with 3 different rates on it. Every time we ask about the rates he says the rates will be different once we run credit & actually see the numbers. Shouldn't this be done already so we are talking about the ACTUAL price instead of made up numbers? We also had to ask about the warranty as the car listed both warranty & no warranty on the window sticker.  Not sure if Luke was new or something, but he didn't seem to know much about the car at all. We asked if the scratches could be taken care of. Any question like this, we got "we'll see what they can do" in response. Great. Also told that we could use a debit card for the down payment when we were ready. Put deposit down & tell him that we were waiting for some funds to transfer & we'll be in touch once it does. Almost every day after that, Luke text my husband asking if we received the funds yet. We got the funds & messaged him to schedule an appt, and he went M.I.A. Turns out he was sick, so no fault of his own, we then had to call dealership & deal with yet another person, Andrew. Set the appointment for later that day & when asked, informed us that we could not use a debit card for the transaction. Now I have to call my bank to see what they say, as I'm very distrustful of this dealership right now. My bank discusses it with me & we decide its best to just get a bank check. Good thing I called or else we would've been out of luck. Once we arrived, Andrew greeted us, but handed us right off to Vicki the business manager. She starts discussing rates for financing & they were higher than we had seen online. Kept telling us that it didn't just have to do with my husband's credit score, which was very good, but other factors as well. Gives us her speech on extended warranty they offer, which is to be expected. I politely tell her we don't want it, she keeps at it. Had to tell her 7 times that we didn't want it, & then she told me I was being rude. Told her I shouldn't have to say no 7 times for her to get the point. Then continues to explain why she keeps bringing it up, but c'mon. I tell her that I know why she does & we AREN'T INTERESTED. & now because we declined the extended warranty, all of a sudden his rates went up. Interesting. Then, we wanted to transfer his old plates to the new car. She goes on the DMV website & can't find his registration. OK, I go online & find it in about 30 seconds. Now we're moving along, & she's explaining some other paperwork to us, but makes sure to tell me that she won't go over everything since she doesn't want to upset me again. Yet, I'm the rude one. Now she's being overly friendly & I just want to get out of there. Something goes wrong with the paperwork, so that has to get done again. Everything that happened was just big, red warning signs to get out of there as fast as possible. But since my husband needed a car & he wanted this one, there we were. Paperwork is done, handed back off to Andrew. Takes us to the car, I walk around inspecting it. No scratches were fixed & there appeared to be a brand new spot of damage to the rear bumper. The second I bring it up, he gets very defensive & insists everything is as it was when we test drove it & that they did the best they could with the scratches. Ok. At this point, I'm beyond ready to leave. He insists on setting up my husband's phone to the car even though I told him numerous times that I can do it. & I get that most people probably want this help, but you're in customer service. Read the room. Will never buy from here again, and would've left after 1st appt if husband didn't need car. read more

Traveled from Vermont to Connecticut because of the deal I saw online. The car was listed for $13,999 and I put $4,000 down. Somehow the loan I had to take out was $16,900. Not sure how that math works. I also transferred my plates/registration from my previous car. It has now been 33 days and I have no paperwork for my car. I called them last week and they told me I didn't hand in all the paperwork they needed (they didn't contact me) and then said they would overnight it. FedEx says it will take at least 2 days to get here. So now I'm driving an illegal car with illegal plates and no inspection. Do not deal with Vicki Brogna. All she wants to do is talk and push you through paperwork. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I have had nothing but issues!!!!! Some of them I have had to pay for. I have only had this vehicle for a year!!! Now the newest issue is oil consumption!!!!! They are trying to say I need to pay $750 to fix it! My husband and I are in complete shock! We can not deal with this any longer! I am now on the phone with corporate, and my husband is on the phone with a lawyer. This is an absolute nightmare!!! Stay away!!! I am fully aware vehicles need maintenance however the issues I have had in a years time is uncalled for. Even the Thermostat went within the first few months. A manager named Scott was externally rude to me over the phone a few weeks ago asking me if I thought I was a "princess". I have HAD IT! beware of possible unscrupulous practices here by FLO SAUL from Southbury November 20, 2020 sales reps insisted on getting my credit card before they would give a lease quote! i was uncomfortable going into dealerships due to covid. all other dealers were responsive with phone or online quotes. how would having my credit card have any bearing on the quote? it is not a reflection of my fica score! a friend had had great difficulty obtaining a refund on her refundable deposit when trying to purchase a car from this dealership. be very careful. seems unscrupulous. read more

The worse dealer experience ever. The sales center was rude, inconsiderate, and really not out to work with the customer. Their entire motive is to mark-up. When I did complain after my first experience, someone in corporate had someone that gets paid a lot of money call me and see what happened and try to make it seem better. In the end, the real motive of the call was to pretend they care, when they actually do not. I know other people have good reviews for them, but I hope you read mine and understand that there are many other dealers out there that will work with the customer and are kind, Crowley is not one of them. read more

I was called first thing Monday morning with confirmations that my car was in the shop and being attended to as soon as they could get to it.
