Bought a new 2021 KIA Stinger on 6/24/21. Wanted the car on June 19th, had to wait for them to fix a recall. Sat on the lot for 165 days. I wonder why it wasn't already done. Picked the car up next day drive to work and it is shifting bad. Leave work same thing check engine light comes on and say transmission control issue. Call my sales rep Will Johnson. Right away they come pick up the car and take it to the service Dept. at 2:00. I call them back around 4 to find out what is going on with the car. Talk to Will again and he tells me that they don't know. I then ask what code it pull because the check engine light came on they should be able to see what is wrong with the car. He told me to wait until Saturday and he would call us to let us know what is wrong with the car. Wait until noon and call Will he then tells me that they have a call into KIA tech support to diagnose the car. At this point we ask to speak with a manager. At 2 with no response we drive to the dealership to let them know we want to speak with the manager. At that point we talk to Kalani Lopa telling him we don't want the car anymore he didn't want to listen to our concerns and got very defensive with us. We asked to speak with Mike Buccheri, Kalani said "that will never happen" and walked out of the office. At that point we were fuming and left the dealership and went home looked up Mike Buccheri # call leave a message and he called us back within 20 minutes tell us to wait until Monday to let them find out exactly what is wrong with the car and that he personally was going to see this through to the end. On Monday the service department calls and let's us know that they didn't even see the car until today Monday. Wait all day with still no answer. At 5 Mike calls and says again wait until tomorrow. Last time we heard from Mike. Tuesday we are told the car is getting a new transmission and should be ready by Monday/Tuesday next week. That Friday my husband calls to check the status. Still don't have the transmission. Saturday we left a message for Mike with no response. Monday was a holiday so I was doubtful that it would be done as they were closed. They called me Tuesday and said should be ready today/tomorrow morning. Wednesday I wait until noon and called was told maybe tomorrow that he just started working on it. Complete run around and different stories. Very upsetting that they want us to take a loss on a brand new car. I have payments due one payment already made and I don't even have a car. $40000.00 on a new car that has been in service since the 2nd day that I've had the car. They gave us a car to drive that is no where compared to the car I traded in or the one I bought. Why should I the consumer be out? read more

I have now had interactions with three Kia dealerships and they have progressively worsened. They have already lost me as a returning customer in general but this experience tops it off. I can barely call it an experience. This dealership barely did anything, and whatever they did do only made a problem. I made an appointment weeks go for some recalls, finally attempting an interaction after years of staying away. I showed up early. The service area is cramped and disorganized, the representatives rude. After four hours of waiting for my service, I was told they hadn't even started!!! They were just starting it when I told them I wasn't willing to wait any longer and was met with deflection and excuses, barely an apology, being told I needed to bare with them since it's hard to do recalls waiting. What? You're doing the same work *on my vehicle* regardless of where *I* am.. I took the car back and found the steering is now messed up from whatever they did. I didn't have the best experience there. I drove dozens of miles out there after selecting an appt to meet with the salesman. Upon arrival I knew what I wanted to get, the salesman was eager of course. I had a subpar experience with the finance manager, stand up family guy but kept hinting towards the accountant I'm coming from a urban inner city area of not the most reputable reputation (keep this in mind) My rep promised me a full tank of gas upon arrival, did not have that and did not want to deduct it off the final price but promises a "discount" on any time I would come back for service. (which i'm not) After signing the contract the sales manager was outside watching my salesman almost glaring for him to close the deal or be reprimanded, obviously noticeable from what I observed the type of atmosphere created. The accountant came outside to hand me a receipt of my down payment and I'm not so excited to not notice the number is short 400$ of what I put in. I walked right back inside to go look for the man in his office and found him writing in his book false information of my deposit and confronted him while another sales rep was in there. I made him erase the amount and put the full amount of what I put as a deposit and the rep was shaking his head at him ashamed at the people he was working with and commented on either his unprofessionalism or his idiocy to cover it up. This place is full of "swindlers" white collar criminals. If you even do your best on your end as an outstanding customer they would still try to cut corners and take advantage of you if they think they could. Women do not go there without a man that knows, and men and people with little to no experience, always be on their ass for everything and keep your eyes and ears open. I had a complicated deal as I was financing a used car that was 11 years old (,most finance companies only do 7 years tops) and it was an out of state purchase. I found my own financing (JJ Best Banc was great) and Mike Martella my salesman and Kaloni Lopa the internet sales manager were supportive every step of the way and Vicki Brogna the business manager was great. BEWARE. Extremely shady and unethical business practices abound. I would give zero stars if I could. My experience here was one of the worst ever as a consumer. Beware of the bait and switch tactic. Also beware that the higher authorities within the organization will stand by these practices, not their customers. The following was my experience: I contacted Costco Auto with an inquiry for a vehicle and was notified that I would be contacted by a sales associate with the program, Andrew Cormier. I was contacted by Cormier, who indicated Crowley agreed to a fixed sales price, with $0 down and 0.00% APR financing. This did not include taxes. The Costco email indicated a $599 conveyance fee, which I asked Cormier to waive. He agreed. He indicated that they were attempting to trade for the vehicle to obtain it from Putnam, CT. He later called me to indicate that the car in Putnam was no longer available. He indicated that one was available in New Hampshire and asked if I wanted to pursue that one. I confirmed the terms outlined above once again, and asked for confirmation that I would not be charged any conveyance fee. He agreed. I sent email confirmation and did not receive a reply. I later received a call from Cormier indicating that the vehicle in NH was no longer available. I later received word that the dealer had located a vehicle in VA and would do a dealer swap. I confirmed once again that I would not have to pay any conveyance fee and was told (by both Cormier and his manager, Peter) I would not. I once again confirmed all the terms. Once the VA dealer agreed to the swap, I was notified. I was told I had to make a deposit to secure the vehicle transfer. I emailed Cormier and he and his manager, Peter, reviewed my summary of the terms. I indicated that I would make a $500 deposit, refundable in the event that, upon inspection, there was any damage to the vehicle or any other problems upon delivery. I received a call from Peter, stating that, because I stated the deposit would be refundable if, upon inspection, there was any issue with the vehicle, I would now have to pay the "invoice price," which was over $2,000 more. Our oral contract was thus breached, and the dealer used a "bait and switch" tactic, knowing I was in an auto accident and needed a vehicle. The general manager, Michael Bucheri, stands by these unlawful and unethical business practices. Thankfully, I was able to find the vehicle I was searching for elsewhere. I have contacted the BBB and the CT Attorney General's Office to report these extremely unethical practices. read more

I never write reviews but my experience with Crowley yesterday, specifically Syed Ahmed was deplorable!! My car was recently totaled so I saw a white Optima online, dropped by to take a look but it was sold. Was shown a vehicle out of my price range so settled on something else although was incredibly hesitant as it wasn't what I really wanted. From the beginning I was pressured to give a $100 deposit just to run numbers. I'm sure this man could smell my naïveté for car buying a mile away especially since I handed over my card before I knew what my options would be. He presented me with an incomplete sales sheet and let me know what my monthly payments might be but he wasn't sure. All the while he keeps asking when I can bring in the down payment. I explained multiple times I was waiting for the insurance check for the equity of my totaled vehicle, it should arrive Friday and would take a couple days to clear. He demanded I bring in the payment by Tuesday the 31st as it's months end. I said I wasn't giving the entire amount of the check as a down payment and his response was that they would cut me a check for the difference. Mind you I still had not submitted any of the required verification info (proof of income, utility bill, etc), didn't know if I was even approved for this vehicle and of course didn't know monthly payments. I felt uncomfortable and let Syed know that I would need some time to think things over. He was incredibly upset and said "but honey I asked you three times if you liked the car! What changed in the last 10 minutes that you now have to think about it?" He then provided many scenarios in which he could drop the prices and lower my monthly payment, including on the 1st vehicle he showed me that was out of my price range and could not get approved for. I let him know I was feeling pressured to make a decision and I was just not ready considering I had only been there 25 minutes. He raised his voice and told me he was the one feeling pressured and that I was wasting his time. That it takes a lot of time to do all that paperwork and show cars. He told me to sign my receipts (which I should not have done) and they'd refund my deposit in 3-5 days. I was floored and quickly got out of there. I've dealt with really bad customer service over the years but this was by far the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! read more

Buying a car at Crowley Kia was the least stressful purchase I have ever made. The second I walked in the door Rob Boyle made me feel welcomed and at ease. I came in with a list of things that needed to be included with this vehicle and a very tight budget. I had been to other dealerships previous and they showed me cars above my budget trying to get me to increase my budget. Rob didn't do that. He truly listened to all of my needs, and delivered just that. I am now the proud owner of a pre-owned 2016 Kia Sorento LX that met every single one of my requirements, and that is all because of Rob. On the day I was scheduled to pick up my Sorento, I didn't have a ride to the dealership. Rob came to my job and picked me up. That is above and beyond what you expect from a salesperson. He made the day of pick up just as easy as the day I decided to purchase the car. Vicki, the business manager also made everything extremely easy. Horrendous experience with this place. Brandon already had possession of my license when he started spouting off about a personal experience of his that he very quickly turned into a racism agenda, in front of my young kids - it was 20 minutes before I could get out of there. Never felt so cornered in my life. It was completely inappropriate - not the time, nor the place. I tried to speak with a manager, but he "wasn't there that day" - and nobody else seemed to care that we were walking out visibly upset! A couple weeks later, I finally got to speak with the general manager, Mike, and all he told me is "well, Branden has a fantastic record, so I think he's just a dumb kid who made a dumb mistake" - like that's supposed to make it better??? Solely because of this, they lost a $35,000 sale. We went elsewhere. Would NEVER come back here if it was the last dealership on Earth. The worst car buying experience Ive ever had was today at Crowley. I never write reviews but had to about this place. I felt the salesman was nice and polite and was not pushy at all. After 2 hours I decided I was going to buy a Kia Sorrento. They ran the numbers and I decided to purchase the car after agreeing to the terms. I had finished some paperwork already. All of a sudden the manager said "oh sir Im sorry but we had a glitch in our system. Something went wrong . Now when we punch your numbers in your monthly payment went up $100. "He had a generic spread sheet in excel that he kept showing me that a cell was locked or something .The sales guy all of sudden is no where to be found and no one even cares that I wasted all my time and now no new car. The sales manager said "oh well we were giving you a deal anyway because the car was a demo" Ive been driving Hondas for years and was very close to switching to Kia but not now because I got the worst customer service ever. Everyone was standing around doing nothing to fix the problem. The Crowley commercial says the owner wants to know about unsatisfied customers. Maybe you should try to get the customer to buy 1st before they become unsatisfied. Absolutely waste of my time and energy. I felt cheated. We were looking for an upgrade for our Ford Escape 2015 because our family grew by one and we need room with 2 carseats and a double stroller in the car. We didn't know where to start and just shopped around and came along this Kia Dealership. Andrew greeted us really friendly on a Friday night (really close to closing hour). He took his time to find out what would work for us. We came back Saturday morning to see him again. We actually ended up buying a Kia Sedona Minivan 2017. Andrew was very helpful and fought hard to get the color that we wanted. He called our car insurance and made sure we would get our licence plates and our items back that we forgot in our trade in vehicle. We ended up paying a little more than we wanted to spend monthly and it was a tough hustle even though my husband's credit is really good. Also we weren't told ahead that the 10 year warranty is only powertrain. It always sounded like everything would be covered and included in the payment we agreed on. So we ended up getting an additional cover plan. That's why I'll give 4 out of 5 instead of all stars. read more

I recently purchased a 2018 Sorento at Crowley Kia. I was dreading the visit since I had visited 2 other dealerships earlier that left me very frustrated due to the pushy sales people that couldn't give me a straight answer to my questions on the different fees/charges. When I arrived at Crowley Kia I was greeted by Butch Hanning. This guy had CLASS written all over his forehead. I immediately started to relax and actually felt this experience may be different from what I had encountered and it certainly was. Butch took alot of time trying to understand what was important to me, he never once made me feel that he had a personal agenda and was just looking to sell me a vehicle. I asked alot of questions of which he made sure I was completely satisfied with the answer. When questions and concerns regarding my payments came up he immediately brought over his manager Pete DeBarber who worked with me to come up with a payment that i was comfortable with. I visited Crowley Kia on Friday January 13, 2017. I cannot express enough my disappointment with their shady business practices! The following letter is what I emailed the owner and sales manager of this company, and NO ONE has reached out to me concerned about their business or my negative experience: Dear Mr. Crowley and Mr. Durbiano, I visited your dealership on Friday, January 12, 2017 after speaking with Kalani regarding a 2016 CPO Kia Sorento I had seen online. Upon arriving at your dealership, Kalani greeted me but promptly handed me over to "Dave" a VERY new salesman. I had just started my search for a Kia as my lease is close to expiring. I expressed that I wished to purchase at this time. I will admit that I fell for your sales trick in asking me where I wanted my payments to be and what term I wanted, because I realized that this allowed you to work the sale backwards. I truly just wanted to test drive the car, but Arthur joined Dave and I felt a lot of pressure to "take the car home today." Arthur kept saying to me, "what price can we arrive at that would make you sign today?" At one point he said to me, " If my manager would sell this car for $21,000, will you sign?" So I said yes. There was so much back and forth with the sales manager, that it was absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand why you just don't have sales managers deal directly with the customer, because the back forth is a colossal waste of everyone's time. When Arthur came back, I thought we had agreed on a price/payment but it was higher than I expected so I asked him to break everything down for me. When he provided me with the breakdown, he was charging me FULL advertised price for the car, PLUS the CPO fee of $450 (which he told me was half of what it costs the dealership, WHICH IS A COMPLETE LIE!!! Because one of your neighboring Kia dealerships already told me how much it costs to certify a Kia.) Then he wanted to charge me an etching fee (complete rip off and unnecessary). When I told him under NO circumstances was I going to pay the CPO fee when every website advertised that car as CPO at $22,293 and to charge me for the CPO was deceitful and false advertising on your company's part. He proceeded to tell me that you advertise those "low" prices to lure customers. Well, if that is your DISHONEST business practice, then not only do I not want to do business with you, I will share my experience with all social media outlets as well as rating sites. I entered your dealership completely educated and I feel that because I was a woman and alone, your sales people thought they could take advantage of me. Now, the Kia I wanted and was willing to purchase if the CPO fee was removed and the etching fee, was reasonably priced compared to others I've seen. However, your manger that day was unwilling to remove such fees and would not discount the car in any way. So, Gentlemen, you lost a customer who was seconds away from putting a down payment on a Kia Sorento because of your deceitful business practices. Furthermore, if your sales associates know that you can't sell a vehicle for less than advertised price, then they shouldn't be the ones suggesting to customers to sell a $22,293 vehicle for $21,000 and letting the consumer think that they may be leaving that day with the car they wanted for great price. And perhaps you should change to a no haggle dealership if you expect customers to pay full advertised price. Because, Gentlemen, NO ONE in their right minds is walking into a dealership to purchase a car for full advertised price. NO ONE! I hope you address your false price advertising practices and re-train your sales staff to be honest and up-front with their clients and not suggest things they KNOW they cannot follow through with! Another thing that angered me was, Dave asked for my keys because he said he needed some information from the car (miles). He went into my glove compartment without my knowledge, and rifled through my stuff to get my registration and remove it from my vehicle. I was unaware that he had done this until Arthur called me when I was already back in Massachusetts to inform me that "I had left my registration behind." I told him I was not aware that it had been removed from my car. I am currently driving around without a vehicle registration because your sales person went into my glove compartment without my knowledge or permission and removed MY property without telling me. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Arthur had to email me a copy of my registration so I have at least something tangible, and now I have to wait for him to mail me my original copy. This was THE most unpleasant car buying experience I've ever had! I am extremely disappointed because I really liked that vehicle. A very disgruntled customer, So folks, buyer be aware!!!!! And a gentleman located in an office came out hurriedly. "Sir you must wear a mask". I explained my condition and he stated " I dont care it's the law we cant help you". I got a response asking me to clarify - I did, again. Kept getting emails completely irrelevant to my questions and I never got a quote for the vehicle model I asked for. Kalani is the manager I communicated with. It took so long to even get a price I went elsewhere and I actually never got a quote. my husband was shopping around for a new family sized SUV, we read the reviews on this dealership and thought we'd stop by since they had a vehicle he was interested in. We dealt with the salesman Michael or Mike and initially he was nice. My husband doesn't have the greatest credit but he makes over 50,000 a year and when they put the app through they said they needed a Co signer because the bank needed to see more income. Made no sense at all. Anyways, by the second day when Mike realized he wasn't going to make any commission off this sale, he never returned any of my husband's phone calls. My husband called about 3 or 4x a day and also text him. NO answer, not even a follow up call. He called and spoke the finance people and no one knew anything, not even the "business manager". My husband wanted his deposit back and FINALLY got a hold of Mike and he didn't even apologize not once for not returning his messages and his whole demeanor changed. He said they would need a print out from the bank showing the deposit check was cashed and then they would be able to issue a refund. that weekend, a week later, my husband went in person and hand delivered it to Mike himself and he said the business office is closed and he'll hand it to them on Monday and he'll call then. Yea right, my husband knew he was full of it and called himself that Monday and spoke to Kilani? My husband asked for the manager and Kilani said he was one of them so he filled him in on everything and the extremely POOR customer service from Mike. Kilani said he would take over and find out what's going on. He said there was no trace of the paperwork my husband physically handed Mike (go figure he dropped the ball on that too). Anyways, after 2 days of back and forth, Kilani was the only one who actually did what he said he would and we are thankful for his help. When his credit gets better in the future we definitely will not purchase a vehicle from this dealership unless Kilani was getting the commission. read more

We bought a car at Crowley Kia in Bristol CT. Drove off with it and that's where our nightmare begins. About 4 days later we received a call from Mike Buccheri and he explained that we needed to come down because they found more damage than originally thought on our trade in. He said that we needed to either come down and pay them $2500, redo the paperwork for the deal and write up the trade in for $2500 less, or CLAIM THE DAMAGES ON OUR INSURANCE. I'm not sure how he figured we could do that since we had already removed the insurance from that car the day that we traded it in. He also gave us the option of bringing the new car back and they'd cancel out the deal and give us our trade back. I told him there was no way that we were going to take more of a hit on our trade and that I'd be fine with bringing the car back and taking back the trade. He said he would call me back and let me know where we were at. I'm sure he had to talk to his manager about it. We waited about a day before he called me back. By then he was talking to me like I was a child, and being very demeaning on the phone and said "I'll tell you what buddy, we will take $1500 off the trade value and we will call it a deal. I told him basically I've had the car for a week now that wouldn't be feasible. He was basically harassing me and my wife and making us regret buying the car from there in the first place. Once the sale was over it seems like the good customer service went out the window. We were originally looking for an SUV (Sportage) but figured it might be more sensible to get something that is a little lighter with a little better gas mileage. That's why we chose the Kia Soul. Well I have to say that we are very disappointed with the car. The car gets about 6mpg LESS than what it was advertised on the sticker and I've been feathering the gas. It feels like we have been cheated out of our hard earned money. How could they put these numbers on the car if it doesn't even come close to that. Also, the wind noise that comes from this car is almost unbearable. Car came with the worst tires in the world in snowy weather. Why would put tires that suck on a vehicle that is going to be driven in CT, especially when it's being sold during the winter season. You feel every bump and interior scratches VERY easily. I feel like we paid for a car that is made of plastic and on the same level of quality as a kids toy. Now this kia is going to cost me just as much, MAYBE EVEN MORE on gas than a Kia Sportage with the AWD which apparently gets better gas mileage. THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD. After our first purchase of a kia we loved it so much that we raved about it to our family and they all went out and bought one or even two to replace their cars and now all my immediate family has kias. This includes some friends as well. I can tell you after this experience we will be telling everyone to stay away from kia, especially Crowley Kia in Bristol CT because we never want anyone to go through what we went through. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT HONOR TRUE CAR CERTIFICATE AND DOES NOT HONOR ADVERTISED SALES PRICE IF YOU USE YOUR OWN FINANCING. TYPE SHADY DEALERSHIP TACTICS! I inquired about a very clean 2013 Taurus SHO after months of searching. I live in Maine but was ready to make the 5 hour commute to Bristol, Connecticut with my wife and two kids. We planned on staying the night and commuting back the next day, even reserved a hotel room. I was approved through my bank USAA for financing, had a True Car Certificate, and was even going to give a deposit. I was even going to purchase the vehicle at full advertised price, minus $100 dollars from a True Car savings certificate. But of course, here come the shady dealership tactics. Robert Boyle explained that in order to complete this deal, I would have to go through Crowley for financing at a higher interest rate. I never even ran my credit through Crowley yet, but somehow they are dictating my interest rate? I did not even negotiate there sales price nor argue there $595 documentation fee. I was going to pay full asking price and there non advertised predatory "documentation fee." But of course it's not enough profit for this greedy dealership. I spoke to a manager who said who name was "Tommy" after I requested to speak to Mike Buccheri. "Tommy" also explained that he did not have to honor the True Savings Certificate and stated that True Car works for him, not the other way around. He refused to sell the car to me at the advertised price since I was using my own financing through USAA. Tommy was unable to provide any type of documentation that stated that internet sales prices are only applicable to in house financing. It' dealerships like this that make buyer's go to CarMax or a private sellers. Luckily I didn't make the mistake of dragging my family on a 5 hour + travel, plus hotel and travel costs. I am very upset with Crowley Kia I bought my truck not even a month ago. Witch mind you I have a warranty and they will not fix my window they know they sold me the truck like that. I notice the window before I even left the dealer showed my salesman he look at it and told me to bring it back in as I did to only find out they won't fix it! Went into Crowley Kia about a month ago to see what they offer, seeing as one of our cars is aging badly. Adam Sokolski not only patiently explained their inventory, but gave us several different cars to test-drive. He is obviously someone who appreciates cars, as he talked at length about different models and how they compared with each other and other brands. Originally, we simply wanted to test-drive and then do our homework before making a decision, as we've done in past car shopping trips (these days, with smartphones and wifi, we were able to do all of our online investigations and fact-gathering/price-checking on the spot!). We soon realized that the car we enjoyed on the test drives -- a Kia Soul -- was just the car we needed, and Adam had offered a great price for it. So we purchased. The only negative was meeting the finance person and listening to the list of extras we could purchase (okay, we know he has to do this, and he wasn't too pushy, fortunately). We have been fully satisfied with the Soul and our car shopping experience with Adam. We can't speak for other sales associates, but Adam is someone we would recommend. read more

Bait and switch - went here to test drive and hopefully purchase a vehicle with lots of extras - as per the description provided by the dealer after contacting them. The car was actually a base model, and they wanted me to pay extra to add features supposedly on the car. Will never go here again. read more

This past weekend I took a visit to Crowley Kia and dealt with Rob. After my first experience there with my lease I was hesitant of going back, but after finding out the man who helped me 3 years ago, no longer works there, I decided to give them another chance. I am so glad i did. I had such a great shopping experience. Rob was very patient and not at all pushy, which is what I absolutely cant stand in a car sales man. He was very knowledgeable and made my shopping experience fun and funny. My one reason for having a bad experience the first time leasing there, was when it came time to sign papers, none of the numbers matched up to what the guy told me. With Rob, everything was so smooth and matched to exactly what he promised me. I will definitely be giving Crowley Kia, and Rob my business in the future. read more

Purchased my Soul here new, over four years ago. Was there for Service and as usual service and personnel were excellent.

Brought vehicle in for oil change tire rotation and balance it took one hour and 55 minutes for these tasks to be done, one hour and 45 minutes after the car was brought in they asked me if I wanted them to do a brake job to which I declined because I have the brakes at home car was delivered and it took me less time to drive the car home jack it up in my driveway and change my front brakes then It did for them to change the oil and balance my tires bare in mind the vehicle has a GPS tracker on the OBD so I know when the vehicle was brought in and how many times while it was in the building it was moved and or started. The folks at Crowley Kia were awesome during my purchase of a pre-owned 2016 Honda Accord. They were all very friendly and very very accommodating. Tough negotiators but fair. The sales person Rob did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of....I only wish I lived closer so I could actually get my car serviced here in the future. new 2019 Kia. When I took my car for test drive it had just 1 mile on it, however, I noticed a white vertical scratch on door about 3 inches long. It is a black car and the scratch was very obvious. I had a friend with me who saw it and I pointed it out to salesman. I chose to buy that car assuming that they would never allow a buyer to take a car home with a scratch in the paint. I called prior to the pick up date to again mention and remind them about the scratch and that my expectation was that the it be repaired to new condition prior to me signing and taking delivery on the car. When I arrived on day of pick up, I asked to view the car right away to make sure the scratch was gone. Initially the scratch had been concealed and was no longer white in color, however, the shape and depression of the scratch was still visible and it was now black-ish in color, but, still there! They promised to repair it while I was there signing my paperwork. I have a service ticket for that , it says " WE OWE " on it. After I viewed the scratch again, it looked invisible to me, the paint in that area was shiny and black and perfect looking. I took the car home and after a heavy rain, BOOM, the scratch became whitish in color again and very obvious! I called right away and was told 'come on down and we will fix it.' I questioned why I didn't need an exact time, they said to just bring it in. I live far away it is over 1 1/2 hours drive. I drove there with intent to permanently fix it. I expected to wait for some time or receive a loaner car that day as it would take a few hours or more for them to buff the scratch out, wet sand or possibly paint the car to permanently repair that scratch. I am not sure how the following happened. Once outside to look over the scratch with the sales manager, it was miraculously gone again. I feel that while I was in or around the building someone went outside to my car, rubbed a rag with some sort of wax or applied some sort of glaze or polish and temporarily concealed the scratch again! I found the sales manager to be rude, patronizing, and unprofessional! He was making jokes about the scratch disappearing and when questioned he made me feel very uncomfortable. I called him out on his scratch disappearing act and told him that I would be very annoyed if I went home and the scratch reappeared. After just 2 days at home, the scratch is back again. I refuse to ever deal with Crowley again. If they are being this dishonest with a scratch, I wonder what other things they get away with. They have had 3 chances to repair a thin scratch on a brand new 2019 car. One of those chances involved a long drive and inconvenience to me. I called Kia, their advice is that this is an issue with the dealer and not Kia. Through communication with all parties, the sales manager would now like me to return yet again to allow them the opportunity to fix it. At this point I am so upset that I may choose to skip the long drive and live with a permanent scratch that was there before I even agreed to purchase the car. This could be what the dealer was hoping for all along, that I would simply give up and live with a scratched car. This is the feeling I am getting from that dealership and it was not a pleasant experience at all. Be wise and choose your dealer carefully. read more

THE MOST DISHONEST & CROOKED DEALERSHIP I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. On February 17, I spent time at Crowley Kia located in Bristol, Ct. Before going to the bank and putting down a deposit, I was assured by Ryan Lanza in Sales that my deposit was 100% refundable if I decided not to go w/ the vehicle. I was hesistant as the receipt didn't state any terms. Ryan assured me they were a reputable business and would stand by what they told me. The following week, I called Ryan and told him that I would not be going w/ the vehicle. He said he would get the refund mailed to me. I also spoke with Tom in Sales the following week. He said Ryan mispoke but that they would honor their terms with me and mail me a check within the next few days. Weeks went by w/ no return phone call. I called this morning (March 4th) and spoke w/ Mike, Manager of sales who said I would not be refunded as his Sales people mispoke. This dealership is crooked and has stolen from me. They do not stand by their agreements. I want a refund immediately. I will make sure everyone knows about their deceitful business practices and will write every review possible telling the public of thier dishonesty. They are complete LIARS and THIEVES. read more

Had the most incredible experience buying a new car at Crowley Kia in Bristol! It was such a pleasure to do business at a car dealership with integrity. A business is only as good as it's employees and this business far exceeded our expectations. We had the pleasure of dealing with Rob Boyle and Kara who made our purchase effortless, not to mention Peter with his sense of humor. We have purchased a number of vehicles in the past at dealerships that we would never, ever return to because of their poor customer service, we were very leery as to where to go. I researched Kia's online and received many e-mails from car dealerships soliciting our business, we chose Crowley's in Bristol because they were the only one that called us, which was a nice personal touch. Rob and Kara were the best, we went there in the afternoon and drove away with our new car the next morning, for once it actually felt good buying a new car.
