Chris made time and saw to it that my niece's car was thoroughly inspected, some work was done, and the car was safe and ready for her trip home!

If I could give less stars I would. I have been a loyal Customer for the past 13 years, I have…read morereferred so many friends and family to this place and I am sorry for all of that. The sale side is absolutely amazing, the service side is completely horrendous. I get a new car every 2-3 years, I ended up with a trail blazer which I loved, 45 days into it there was a leak, it destroyed some of my electrical. They fixed everything no problem told me they couldn't find the leak. Over the past two years I have had issues with water coming in, I have sent videos, spoke to techs. They didn't find anything. Fast forward to this past week, my car wouldn't start, I called got transferred 3x had to re-explain everything 3 times. By the time the third transfer I was annoyed, probably a little rude cause why can't you all communicate amongst each other instead of me repeating myself multiple times with each transfer. I towed the car in, they told me they were booked for weeks, I finally called today to which they told me my warranty will no longer cover this because it's weatherstripping on my sunroof is what they found the issue to be. Which if that was the case, the weatherstripping was the cause three years ago on a brand new vehicle and should've been replaced then.. it's 1600 bucks The part that really pisses me off when I went to pick up my car today, I did not let them do the work cause I'm not paying for it out-of-pocket. My service ticket has none of the issues that I had spoken about.. it said customer says battery is dead.. (no , I never said that, I was very clear and concise) I did tell them I disconnected the battery to try and reset the computer system, and I dropped the nut to the battery which did need to be replaced and I would pay for. Today's call said oh we found part of the problem, the nut was missing off the battery/. NO, I literally told 2 techs and one supervisor about the nut on the battery. Last year, my father, who has also been a loyal customer with them who was told to bring his car in for service and it would only take a couple hours, and it ended up taking a week because guess what they never even looked at it until he actually called pissed off asking for his car back. Avoid getting any work done on your car from this place at all cost.

Buyer beware. Make sure to read all the fine print…read more I wanted to buy an electric vehicle before the 4000$ credit expired. I contacted Hitchcock motors regarding this EV. They were not able to provide me with any information whatsoever regarding how the credit works. I made a deposit so that my paperwork could reflect that I made the purchase prior to the tax credit expiring. We still had to confirm some of the details. I noticed on the original paperwork that I was being billed for gap insurance. When I brought it up to my salesperson, he blamed me for not starting that I didn't want gap insurance. It doesn't make sense to put gap coverage on a 10 year old vehicle & it is not appropriate for things to be added to my bill without advising me. The following day i was contact by another salesperson regarding this purchase. I was skeptical of my first salesperson so I proceeded with this salesperson. I wanted to make sure that I could get a warranty and was looking into getting a warranty elsewhere. When I went to pickup my vehicle, the original salesperson was there to finalize the sale. It seems the staff at Hitchcock doesn't work well with each other and fight over sales. I was interested in trading in a vehicle. According to NADA, the average trade in value was 3500. The average sale price for this vehicle was 5500$ It turns out that the 4000$ rebate for purchasing an EV can only be applied at the dealership. I lost out on 4000$. The dealership should have known that. My signed contract had a dealer fee of 799$. The contract says that this is negotiate and used for registration & title fees. I was also changed 300$ for registration. I said that I would have registered it myself and transferred my plates, but was told that I could not. The range on my vehicles battery has dropped significantly since my purchase. I went into the folder I was provided with at time of the purchase and my warranty information is not in the folder. I received an email from someone at the dealership that they have my license plates but the fees were more than expected so they will not be releasing my plates until I pay more money for the registration. It is very unprofessional and inappropriate for them to request additional funds by email this way. I responded to the email & emailed my sales rep. They don't have the decency to call & discuss. I don't have the ability to renegotiate the contract, why should they? I recommend that you go elsewhere to buy a vehicle. If you insist on buying a vehicle from this place, make sure you read and discuss the contract thoroughly so you don't get screwed the way they screwed me. I also recommend that you sell or trade in your vehicle elsewhere your own, get a loan on your own, get a warranty on your own and register it yourself.

I could've gotten more $$$$ for my car if I sold it outright to a private buyer, but they gave me exactly what I was wanting for it without going through the hassle of selling it myself.

Car VIN: 1GYKPRRL9VZ301014 Timeline: * Aug 6: Blasius Chevrolet/Cadillac sent me their own printed worksheet for a new 2027 Lyriq Premium Luxury (VIN ending 301014): MSRP $69,676, $6,200 discount, $2,000 rebate, selling price $63,476. Their printed lease grid shows $781-811/mo at 39 months / 10,000 miles with $3,000 drive-off. * Aug 7 (texts attached): I confirmed in plain words -- "$3,000 down, then $781 for the next 38 months. No fees, no taxes, nothing else. I walk in, pay $3,000, and take the car away. This is all inclusive." The salesperson replied: "That's right... that is the number," conditioned only on strong credit approval. My credit is strong; credit was never raised as an issue. * Same day, at the dealership's request, I sent driver's license, registration, insurance card, and signed documents, after being told: "just send me your license, registration, and insurance card and I will take the vehicle out of the market for you." They declined to take a deposit. * I wrote, before sending anything: "I am 2 hrs away from your showroom and I don't want surprises after I come." * Before delivery, the dealership demanded $850 per month and more money down. The reasons given: the car hadn't arrived yet, and they had "calculated the residual value wrongly." For anyone unfamiliar: dealers don't calculate residuals -- the bank publishes them monthly and the dealer looks them up. Their own worksheet printed the same 60.0% residual at 24, 36, and 39 months, which real bank residuals never do. Their sheet, their error, confirmed twice in writing. * When I asked them to honor their own quoted terms, the salesperson and sales manager were dismissive. I remain willing to complete the lease at exactly the terms they put in writing. I am filing complaints with the CT DMV Dealers & Repairers Division and the CT Attorney General. Read the screenshots and worksheet and decide for yourself whether this dealership's word is worth it.
