Called Vertucci about a wheel bearing price. Given a verbal price for around 650. Ended up getting jammed for 950 out the door and there were electrical problems when I got the car home. Never trust this place again. read more

I went to Vertucci Automotive for the first time today & became a new satisfied customer! Had gone to the Audi dealer for an oil change, and was told my rear shocks on my Audi S5 needed to be replaced (after ~24k miles?). Quote was nearly $3,000. Joe and crew found only a very minor issue and resolved same day - for no charge! I'll be coming back for future repairs. read more

Customer service was exceptional. They were efficient, priced right, and made our multi service appointment run smoothly. Communication was great. We were very happy with the experience and will certainly be using them again in the future. Also, there is a grocery store nearby to kill time in if you don't want to wait in the waiting room. read more

honest fair garage! they know european cars been coming here for 20 years! never had an issue most honest car repair!

I will definitely be staying with Vertucci's for my family vehicles. Prompt service, reliable, and affordable pricing. They quoted me significantly lower than the dealership on a transmission flush, about 40% lower, and I brought our other car in recently with an urgent need for a new alternator and new brakes, which they ordered and installed on the same day! read more

joe is honest , work is good! easy review for me. Few years back local Mercedes Dealer told me i needed AC compressor , code said it was broken. Joe heard the car , saw how it was running and said prob not AC maybe a sensor. Few hours and about $400 incl oil change and i was on my way. Thousands cheaper than AC repair. Trust them now and the 10 plus years i have used them. read more

I asked them to email me pictures of a car as there weren't any on their website. After taking fresh pictures that morning and putting them up for all to see, I wanted to make an appointment to go see the car. I was emailed by the Sales Manager Arnie Shloemann. I gave the sales manager Arnie a choice of 1:30 or 2pm, and he said 2 works for him. At 1:26pm I got an email that the car was already sold by the owner? I sold cars for over 10 years. If I made an appointment with someone, I gave them the courtesy of waiting until that time where NO ONE else could see that car. Sad read more

I had a spectacular experience with Vertucci Automotive this morning for my DMV transaction. The customer service is stellar. The staff went above and beyond which was GREATLY appreciated. The young man (I wish I knew his name) was thorough and pleasant. Rachel was awesome!! I highly recommend using Vertucci for your DMV needs. read more

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and reasonably-priced shop to work on your BMW, this is the place! They diagnosed my 2008 328xi as having a bad crankcase timing sensor. I was given an estimate for replacing the sensor, and some additional repairs, that seemed reasonable to me (including 4 hours of labor) and I approved the work. Three hours later, Joe (the owner) called and explained that they had figured out a simpler way to do the repair, the charge would be about HALF of what he previously estimated and my car was ready to be picked up. I'll say that again. They figured out a better and quicker way to do the work and they passed the savings on to me. You can't get any more honest and ethical than that! I'll never go anywhere else for repairs on my BMW. And the car runs better now than it has in months! Joe's a good guy and he definitely knows his German cars. read more

Went here to register my vehicle and they were super fast and helpful. They also told me any mechanical problems to call the service department. I called them about a week after I registered my car and they got me in the next day with my repair! Awesome place if you're looking to buy a car or get work done! Very reasonable, great work and awesome service. You guys are the best thank you! read more

We had an unexpected issue with our hood not latching while on a short road trip. Even though it was a weekend, Joey Vertucci answered our call, directed us to his shop and fixed the problem immediately (and free of charge!). So grateful for his kindness and expertise. read more

I recently found out that this garage has been deliberately or accidentally sabotaging vehicles they work on, probably in order to get return customers and more business. They deliberately or negligently put the wrong fluids in my engine, which caused the radiator to become blocked. I was told to "go fuck myself" by the owner after confronting him about their mistake, and was accused of draining the coolant and putting the wrong stuff in there *myself* just to start an argument... how ridiculous! They were the *ONLY* garage to have serviced this car in the past 5 years, so I positively know it was them. Is that how you treat your customers, Vertucci??? Don't get scammed by this garage, find another one. read more

My experience with this business was horrible. I brought my car there because I had the airbag light on. I've read from another review that this business had car loaners, but when I asked, the answer was "no, we don't". So, since it was supposed to be a quick fix, I decided that a couple of days without the car wouldn't have been so bad. After a couple of days, I called. Joe said they were checking the car and would have called me back. He never did. I had to constantly call to get an update. Anyway, finally got an update: "The fuses are all good, we checked them all. The problem is the computer. I'll find a used one and I'll keep you posted." Ok. After three weeks, got the used computer. Tried. Problem still there. Then, for whatever reason, nobody calls customers to let them know that they are going on vacation and will be closed for a week. Nice! So, they come back from vacation, I keep calling to get a status...the car is a part and it is being worked on. Never got a call about anything. 8 weeks later, I go to the shop to talk to Joe. They were still trying to figure out what the problem was. I asked for the car back and Joe asked me to come back a couple of hours later so he can put the car back together. The car wasn't ready, a couple of hours later, and he asked me to come get it the next day (Saturday). I went on Saturday to get it and it wasn't ready. Had to wait there about 4 hours for one of his guys to put it back together and Joe didn't even show up. The guy put it back together (wrong). Now I have the same problem, the engine fan stays on the whole time and the temperature console doesn't even turn on. No heat, no A/C. The guys' explanation: "the computer needs to be reset." Really??? I couldn't wait to get the car out of there!! I went to the dealer and what they found was: The problem with the airbag light was: the fuse was misplaced; the wires were ripped from the computer unit and they were put back together with electrical tape; the cables to the computer were crossed and plugged into the incorrect connectors. Much for checking the fuses, Joe. Your incompetence cost over $1,000 in fixing your screw up and over $1,000 in car rental for the 2 months you had my car. This shop is good for checking tires, changing a battery or a bulb. If you have a problem with your car, I would definitely recommend that you DO NOT take it to Vertucci. read more

Great service , going for years ! Fair prices always takes care of my cars and freinds and family cars. Honest and professional

Great prices, honest guys. Got a flat tire and they fixed me right up. While I waited, Joe(the owner) came out and talked to me, gave me some great tips. Super nice, trustworthy guys that truly care about their customers AND get the job done for the right price!! Hard to find garages like this one. What more could you ask for? read more

I can't say enough about how great these guys are. I recently purchased a slightly used Mercedes E-class from these guys. The process of looking for a car was beyond painful and dealing with your typical dealership sales staff BS was a huge turn-off. It wasn't until late one night after visiting 2 dealerships i was sitting at my computer at home completely frustrated that I came across the Vertucci Automotive website. I decided the following day to take a ride after work and was completely caught off guard at how this father/son business is runs. These guys are the most down to earth, straight shooters, and genuine good people. It's been a pleasure working with these guys in buying my 'new' car. After my initial visit with these guys I was told by the owner that several people at the hospital I work at are regular customers. So in doing my homework, I decided to ask around at work the following day and was shocked at how highly recommended this place was. Thanks Joe, I look forward to working with you in the future and will recommend your shop to all my friends and family for sales and service. If these guys don't have on the lot what you are looking for be sure to talk to them anyways, they will find you your 'perfect' car! thanks again. Mark Avon, Connecticut. read more

As an Active-duty Soldier, moving from one military assignment to another can seem tedious as relocating to a new surrounding can be difficult. Like anyone in my situation, settling into a new environment was far from easy; however the friendly atmosphere at Vertucci Automotive made the quest for finding a qualified and knowledgeable while also remaining inexpensive automotive team, a no brainer. Upon my first visit to Vertucci Auto, I sought a simple tire changeover as winter was soon to arrive to Connecticut. The friendly staff, including Joe Vertucci, welcomed me with friendly, family-like, graces and sought to meet my consumer request. While waiting a short time period for my automotive service to be performed, I was fortunate enough to speak with fellow customers who mentioned that they had been reliant of Vertucci Auto for all automotive quandaries in seeking a timely and inexpensive resolution for years. Simply enough, the sheer gratitude given from customers becomes apparent as the honesty and unsurpassed veracity continues from Joe Vertucci and his expert automotive team. Over a year later, I have continued to rely on Vertucci Auto with questions and concerns regarding my 16-year-old pickup. Most recently I neglected to have my oil changed with Vertucci Auto; instead I had went to a large car dealer who was located within close proximity of work. Upon completion of changing my oil, the service tech mentioned that I should have my radiator hose and clamps replaced, along with a radiator flush. Instead of agreeing to spend over $200.00 to have a larger dealer perform the service, I simply drove my vehicle to Vertucci Auto and requested that they perform the service. Without having to schedule an appointment, Joe Vertucci and his automotive team put my vehicle on a lift to thoroughly inspect the radiator "issue." To my surprise, the Joe was upfront and completely honest when he said that my radiator hose and clamps, along with the radiator fluid, look perfect and that it would be ridiculous to replace perfectly good parts. Pleased with not wasting money, I reflected having my oil changed earlier that day at a large auto dealer and realized that some companies are in business to simply make money instead of quality customer care. read more

I have a particular quirky,1995 SL 500 that have had an issue for quite some time. I took it to the dealership many times with no solution. I took it to an import repair shop times and nope , could not find the problem and both acted like they gave up on the car. I decided I would give it one more chance before I gave up on the car and blow up the car. Joe after two attempts...., the third was the charm. This car ran great at an outside temp of 50 degrees or less Once you approach 60 it would mis fire badly. This model year's computer does not code very much. with a desire to over come this challenge they kept after it I think you would characterize Vertucci repair as a laid back shop of the 50s and 60s that experience counted for something that combined with up to date technology you get the best of both worlds. Our many Thanks to Joe, John and the rest of the crew..... Never going back to the dealer. Drive foreign cars don't hesitate drive it to Vertuccis For the record, I am a hard man to impress........ Joe Vertucci is a very polite and accommodating owner. Although i was charged 112$ labor fee (in which i wasnt informed of prior to or over the phone) but hey, all things in life arent free right? their diagnostic of my car was right. I previously brought my car to another shop and they gave the same diagnostic but i wanted an opinion of a shop that specializes in foreign cars.Thats the only reason i went to vertucci auto. The process did take quite awhile. but that's common in all shops, right guys? I was not aware they gave out loaner cars, if i knew this i would have been able to carry out my engagements i had that day. They were extremely busy that day which i understand because peoples cars have problems every day. Awaiting my final conclusion on my car a few other customers rushed in and were getting talked to while i was up at the counter, but oh well, what can i do? Im a good person, and we all get frustrated sometimes am i right? especially when after two weeks of purchasing my car i have to replace something very big on it. joe was nice enough to call and ask about a turbo from someone he knew in Mass. in which i appreciated. Joe honestly cares about customer satisfaction. First impressions are everything sometimes i suppose. read more
