Wish I could rate this business on their work however, after attempting to reach out on two separate occasions two years apart, I was left ghosted both times when I was told I'd get a quote. It's unfortunate because they obviously have a great reputation for a reason, unfortunately, they just couldn't get it together for me. Thankfully, thanks to their lack of communication, I found a temporary $20 solution to some valve replacements I need so now I have time to get the project done that I had scheduled and I can find a new plumber once that project is done. It was mentioned in a reply to another review with the same issue that they have been extremely busy which is believable given their reputation in the community, however, simple communication of "hey, we're slammed so it will be a day or two to get you a quote" goes a very long way. read more

Great group of guys to work with. We had a leak from the main water line going into our house and it was leaking. Reach out to them and they were able to send out one of their guys to check and confirm where the leak was coming from. Didn't charge for the site visit on a Saturday (which is pretty awesome), sent me an estimate and we were a go and were scheduled me for the following Monday since the supply house was already closed. Crew arrived between the time slot that they provided and made quick work of the job on a rainy Monday afternoon. They sent a crew of 3 to assist with the work, they were able to replace the offending line cleaned up the area and replaced the patch of lawn that had to be dug up to access the line. Jose explained the process for them to fix the leak. He also discussed the pros and cons of going through insurance to fix my hardwood floors that were damaged from the leak. He also fixed my front door that was getting stuck from the leak. I asked if they had time to fix my clogged dishwasher and Jose spent the time to fix that. Last week we noticed a leak coming through the ceiling of our entryway room. We weren't sure if it was a pipe issue or something with the AC. We called and talked to Chris a little before 8am - he was the nicest guy ever - and sent us Jose to come take a look at things. Jose made it to us by 9, who diagnosed the problem immediately (AC primary and secondary lines were clogged!), unclogged the lines, and we're on their way before 10:30am. These guys were great. They came and checked for leaks and replaced our shower cartridges in the showers to ensure we had hot water. But when we called HMS Plumbing at 11:00 @ night and they showed up next morning at 7:00 on a Memorial Day weekend. They came and located the leak fixed it with in 15 mins. Our hot water heater started making a loud groaning sound and then started dribbling water. I called our long-time plumber only to find he had moved out of state. This was on 12/21, so not looking forward to having to deal with this during the holidays. On a recommendation from a friend, I called Jose at HMS that afternoon, and he stopped by on his way home that day to check it out. He determined that the water heater needed replacing and promised to return early the next morning to do the job. I had looked up pricing for new units and installation and found the range to be between $1750 and $2000 so I was prepared to haggle, but his quote was spot on! His team arrived early this morning, on time, and completed the work in less than an hour, and one hour later we have hot water service restored. So big points for responsive, clean, knowledgeable and fair priced. Out HVAC guy also moved out of state so we'll be calling HMS to service those systems as well! I called someone from HMS to do the frame under the sink for the farmhouse sink he did so many mistakes left gaps on the sides of the sink and the wood that holds the sink he put it where the cabinet door don't close I told him to make it shorter but he wouldn't' I called him several times because the granite people told me if you need to fix these problems it has to be fixed before the granite is done...so I called him several times and he kept saying I try to come and he never did...so I fixed the gaps on the side of the sink myself and now I still am on hold because of the under the sink frame is too long and I can't close the cabinets doors...I was so stupid I gave him cash and more than what he asked for read more
