Our family has used home warranty for years and each year the warranty's increase as well as the service call fees. Our water heater went out and after going round and round with the warranty company we reached out to a company we previously used and was totally ghosted so I turned to YELP. It's so great to find a tradesman who does honest, quality work. That is what I found with KDP. For starters, he answered the phone the first time I called. No answering service, no voicemail, just someone who still takes a phone call. I needed my water heater replaced and he came out the next morning and handled it. The installation kit that the big box store sold me was completely wrong for the water heater I just bought from them. No problem. KDP had all the right parts on his truck and got the water heater up and running. No rush trips to the store, no mismatched components, no headache. Also, the new water heater I bought was a different brand than my old water heater. KDP did some custom work on the copper piping so that it would function properly, but again, no problem. We were needing our shower/tub cartridge changed and new trim installed in one bathroom, and we had a 2-handle shower that needed similar work in another bathroom. The fixtures were old and hard to find suitable replacements for, so Kurtis recommended installing a new valve for a single handle shower.
