On 8/20/25 I locked myself out of my semi truck so on google at locksmith I went to Emergency Services and they sent out HM Locksmith to open my door it took him maybe five minutes but then he hit me with a $713.00 dollar bill for his service , that is highway robbery so don't use Emergency Services or you will get ripped off. read more

I have called requesting a locksmith service yesterday at 12:35pm as I was locked out of my unit in Neutral Bay with my 20 months old son. The service provider called me back at 12:37pm and advised he would be in my place in 25-30min. After 35min I called him back and he said he was still 10min away. After 50min I then called the central again and the provider called me back saying he was 2min away (he blamed the rain but it was barely raining and it had just started). After 55min he then showed up in my place and charged me a $99 call out fee (even though he was more than 30min later than he initially said). The provider charged me $350 + GST on top of the $99 fee to open my door and did not want to accept credit card payment (he wanted a bank transfer). I said I could not make a bank transfer and he called someone else to who I would have to provide my credit card details, which I thought I did not have with me as I was expecting to just tap my card. While I was trying to juggle my baby and find a picture of my credit card to pass on him the details, he then came to me with my credit card in his hands which he "had found on the desk". I did not know my credit card was there and he obviously went through my personal stuff as I was not in the room and "found my credit card" for me. I passed my credit card details to the person on the phone and I was charged $493 in total. I requested a Tax Invoice and the provider literally ran away down the stairs and until the present moment I have not heard from him nor anyone else about the receipt. read more

If you have an older or vintage Mercedes, Roy at HCM is your man! I have a 99 Mercedes convertible. Previous owner lost spare key. Mercedes said the key fob to control locks and alarm was no longer available and they didn't have software to program it if they could it. Roy delivered a brand new fob and key. Yesterday evening, our back-door deadbolt became stuck in a locked position, with no way to open it from either side. We called Roy a little after 9:30 this morning -- a Sunday. He promised to arrive around noon but sent us a text at 10:30 that he'd be there in 20 minutes -- which he was. Roy was super friendly; quickly dismantled the bolt and found that the inside mechanism was busted; and gave us the option of either replacing the entire deadbolt or -- less expensively -- replacing just the mechanism. We chose the latter. He had repaired the bolt and was on his way 20 minutes after arriving. The pricing was fair. Not cheap -- but fair. Highly recommended. read more

Called them at 11am, was greeted by a kind and friendly voice who patiently listened to my lock issue (old doorknob mechanism losing full range of motion and locking me in my house), and then Royce showed up within 20 minutes. Instead of replacing my doorknob mechanism (as I had feared was necessary), Royce diagnosed the issue immediately and prescribed a reinstallation of the other side instead, on the door jamb, which saved me over $100.
