I bought a beautiful High Power clone for $200 less than Sportsman's and it's incredible. If you see a bad review, assume they got caught trying to break federal laws, such as buying a gun for someone else. They are a different kind of store. They let you touch and try out all the guns and if you need help, ask. They love dogs, are great to their customers and they have me as a customer for life. 4 years ago I called AmmoAz about their upcoming sale and an AR15 that they were losing money on. The owner spent 20 minutes explaining my options and talking to me about the gun. He earned a customer for life. I have since bought several "items" all for MUCH less than anywhere else. I have brought my dogs, even my Dane and have always had a great experience and gotten the best prices. The store's app with up to date ammo availability and pricing is just another bonus. To sum it up, my 15 year old daughter asked me when she could apply to work there. Great store. Great people. Great selec

I wanted to check if they carried a certain Glock and he checked their website, they didn't have it in stock. So I went to tombstone tactical and was immediately greeted and felt a lot more welcome. When I asked about the same flick, they found it on their website right away and had it delivered within a week. Super friendly employees and a lot nicer when answering my questions, not monotone and expressionless like ammo az guys.

I went in today 9/12/26 at 4PM to grab a 1911 I had seen on arms list. I told him how I appreciate that they have everything on arms list he was saying that he works hard to keep it up-to-date and I've got a lot of respect for that because it makes my life a whole lot easier! Give that guy a raise. Walked out with a huge smile today. 10/10 from these guys

Two stars for the friendly staff who rang us up, directed us towards the bathroom, and offered to help in the camping section. Other than that, this place is not the happy place it used to be. We were immediately greeted when we walked in, and I really liked the layout of the store. Everything was organized and visually appealing, and the unique shape of the building actually makes for a really cool showroom and display of their products. My only small criticism was the queue system. We didn't realize at first that we needed to scan a QR code to get in line for assistance, and I wish there had been a larger, more noticeable sign explaining it rather than the smaller displays on the counter. We also had to wait a little while before someone was available, so having a few more staff members assisting customers during busy times would definitely help. That being said, once we were helped, Randy was exceptional. I'm new to gun ownership and interested in eventually getting a rifle for hunting, and he took the time to explain the differences between different rifles, what I should be looking for, and which options would make sense for what I wanted to do. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel silly for being new to everything. He was just as helpful with my boyfriend, letting him physically handle and compare his different options before making a decision. My boyfriend ultimately went with the Springfield Echelon 4.0C and was really happy with his choice. Despite the little bit of a wait, Randy's customer service absolutely made the experience worthwhile. We really appreciated the time he spent with both of us and would happily come back the next time we're in Phoenix!
