    Single Combo #1 plain

Back at Hot the Spot! My son got a bare bones classic combo (just cheese and ketchup) and loved it. I got the two tender combo and upped it to three tenders. Most places serve tiny tenders, but gosh, I could have hist had the two tenders. Such larges pieces! Love it! The tenders were cooked to perfection, juicy and crispy! Service was great, as usual and the classic rock had the place bouncing! (Ok it was just me, but still..) Note, Hit The Spot is cash only!

Onion rings, triple burger in the wrapper, and crispy fried chicken with spice blend dusted

By far our favorite burger place in Portland area! It used to be our "best burger and fried chicken" place but then chicken (and onion rings) took a brief hiatus so they were just "best burger" place for a while. BUT THEY'RE ALL BACK! Fried chicken is crispy while the chicken is soft and buttery. The spice blend add on for spicy chicken is heavenly and must have for those who enjoy a little heat. The service is great and we've never had a bad time there. It is really one of our once in a while cheat meals because if I ate as much I want at this place, you'd have to bring me in and out in a forklift, it's so good,

    Onion Rings

Onion Rings are WOW!!! From the first bite, you're hit with that audible crunch--a perfectly crisp batter that gives way to tender, sweet onion inside. It's the contrast that makes it magic: crispy outside, juicy and savory inside.

Hit the spot is delicious. The customer service was extremely welcoming, kind, thorough, and attentive. They welcomed us as soon we walked in, and after they brought our food out, checked up on us to make sure everything was good. The menu is simple and easy to order from. They also don't have A TON of items to choose from, which is ok. I tried the double burger a la carte and the double tenders a la carte no fries on the order. The double burger was fresh and tasted yummy. The tenders were juicy and had a good kick to them. I got my tenders spicy and I would put them at a 7 out of 10 on the heat level. Their big thing is fresh farm to table and it showed. The food tasted fresh and that it wasn't frozen. Parking was street level parking and we used parking kitty. The place is easy to find and easily accessible.

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was extremely attentive. Joanna greeted us with a smile and seemed genuinely interested in doing a good job. She answered all of our questions as we placed our order. Place is very clean with big art murals. Two TV screens on for entertainment. Food is nicely priced, the bump up for an addition of a drink and fries just about doubles the price- seems a little stiff for fountain drinks, but whatever. My family enjoyed their burgers and I enjoyed the chicken sandwich and added jalapeño- yum. I'd go back. I'd love to try their Chicago dog.

    Double Burger, Fries, Double Tenders

Unfortunately, their food didn't quite hit the spot for me... Maybe I overhyped their burger by the overwhelmingly good reviews but I thought their Double Burger was just OK. I liked the soft buns but everything was kinda mushy and also lukewarm. There wasn't much flavor as well. The Spicy Chicken Tenders were a little better but still nothing mindblowing. Th tenders were certainly tender and juicy and the sauce was a good mix of sweet and spicy. I like the toasty milk bread at the bottom. Fries were decent. Again, could be hotter considering it took awhile to come out. Not for me but I can understand why others love them.

We went on a Saturday and it was very quiet. It's a very industrial kind of place with concrete floors and big windows with lots of light. the service is great. Very quick and friendly with good suggestions. Our burgers were hot and tasted great. French fries were salty and crispy. Definitely come back but one order of fries for two people would be enough.

The meal was fine, but $19.48 for a burger, shake and fries is a bit much for stuff that ultimately just tasted like fast food. Not worth a visit. The quality of the meat on the burger wasn't very good. It felt cheap, like fast food. And as thin patties, you kinda get the worst of both worlds. Thick patties are juicy (when done right) whereas smash burgers have those delicious crispy bits, but these were just standard thin patties that didn't have either of those attributes. I'm not sure what the thinking is with that. The bun also felt cheap and very well might be the same ones you buy at the grocery store. Similar with the fries. I like when fries have a distinct potato flavor but these ones were like typical frozen or fast food fries that just taste generic and lack the potato flavor. They were kinda crispy but not too much. The spot sauce was pretty awesome though. It had a nice tangy kick to it. The milkshake was underwhelming. It kinda just tasted creamy, thick and artificial. The service was surprisingly great though. Two different employees I interacted with just had a really smiley and positive energy to them in a way that wasn't over the top but at the same time was really notable and pleasant. That was really cool.

This is my first time to their physical location. They expanded the menu and added chicken tenders to it. We ordered the triple stack burger and a set of chicken tenders. The burger was just amazing as before, and the chicken tenders were good. The tenders had this hint of sweetness to it, which was unique. The service here was nice and friendly.

This place lived up to its name and definitely HIT THE SPOT! Paid this location a visit on Friday evening and just beat the evening rush. Super friendly staff as we were greeted when we walked in. Ambiance was great as they have three tv playing live sports. This was my first time here to I ordered a few things. For my wife and I the double burger was a must and we had to try the fries and onion rings. The burger was amazing. One of the top three burgers I have had in Portland. The onion rings were out of this world! The batter they use for there onion rings is so good tasty. Loved the fries as well. Let's not forgot about their chicken tenders. Ordered some for my son and he loved them. Of course I had collect the parent tax and try some and it was delicious. Great batter and the chicken was very tender. Before we left we had to finish off this great meal with a strawberry shake. Overall great experience and we will be back very soon.

I'm not sure if Jane is the owner but was very nice. There are two tablets to order on and it was super nice to have a sink to wash your hands not within the bathroom. The pricing was a little expensive but the food was delicious. I enjoyed a single hamburger, fries and even the chicken strips. The flavors really hit the spot! Ava loved the chocolate shake and she was even given quite a few unicorn stickers which made her day.

Patty-Melt with jalapeños, and all the veggies possible

The food is amazing! Every bite melted in my mouth. Way better than I anticipated! Their staff is phenomenal! Really enjoyed the music and cleanliness of the establishment. They only accept cash so plan ahead.

So I got the $6 little pleasure burger. A simple, single patty smash burger. It's everything a McDonald's burger wishes it could be - beefy and drippy, a squishy, slightly sweet bun, oozing hot grease without being heavy, lacy and crisp edges, and held together with the right amount of American cheese. It was the perfect amount for that day. Then I returned with my date. Twice. And he brought his coworkers for lunch because he liked it so much. I have had the western and the mushroom burger since, as well as the parm and chive waffle fries. They have nuggets and I'm inclined to believe they're great. The staff is great, it's a small team and they're all there every single day. They care about their product and your experience. The space is a simple counter, not good for large groups. It should be noted that even though their burgers would be great with a beer, they don't seem to have a liquor license! So don't expect an IPA with that shroom burger. Maybe someday!

IMO. This BBQ is Kansas City style, so the sauce is a bit sweeter. We got the brisket, the chicken wings, and sides. We couldn't decide if on the sauce for the wings, so we got all 3 on the side. The Alabama white sauce was A+ The brisket was perfectly tender. It had great flavor and marbling. The wings are full wings with the drummette attached. That's the way to do it!
