I was absolutely thrilled to find an exceptional burger place in this part of town. Mr. Big Burger immediately got entered into the regular lunch rotation once we tried it. I ordered the Mr. Big Burger with no cheese. I think it says something about a burger when it can stand on it's own without cheese and this burger stands tall. Very happy with the overall quality of it and how fresh everything was. The cart was clean and the gentleman who helped me was very friendly. The spicy hot link had a little heat but even those in our group who typically don't like spicy enjoyed them. The fries and Fry Sauce are too. Depending on how you like your fries there are really 2 options. Regular fries which are large and cooked till soft but not necessarily crispy which go well with the Fry Sauce. The alternative is the sweet potato fries which are cut smaller and crispy. I tried it with the BBQ sauce and it was good! I've been back since and tried the Brunch Burger which I also really enjoyed! Definitely the best burger spot in the area! read more

My wife and I just flew into Portland and drove straight to Latourell Falls for a hike. We had to drive 5 hours to Bandon after that and were starving! We randomly picked this spot on our drive and are so glad we did! The service up front was amazing! They were very helpful with the menu and emphasized that everything was made fresh. The owner had a great sense of humor and even some of his clients were entertaining us. My wife and I barely spoke a word to each other as we ate the Mr Big Burger with fries because it hit the spot so much! Definitely started our trip out right! I had the pleasure to try Mr. Big Burger tonight, due to the owners kindness. My husband and I had arrived around 8:35 to the Yard of Montavilla looking for something delicious to have for dinner. Mr. Big Burger was one of the options that admittedly caught my attention as I love me some burgers! Unfortunately it seemed that they were closed, but like a super hero seen a civilian in need the owner sat up from a relaxing chair and offered to make me a classic cheese burger! You can't beat the service and the meat of the burger was so juicy, the onions and pickles fresh, the mustard and ketchup sweet and tangy. Well, I have attempted to go to this food cart 3 times now, all when they were supposedly open according to their own posted hours. Twice they were closed, and once the cart appeared to be open, but no one was there. I waited 10 minutes, but no one appeared, so I gave up. Why post business hours at all if you have no intention of being open during them? read more

So good!! This cart is one of the best in the pod hands down. We got the 1/4lb bacon stuffed burger & the 1/4lb brunch burger! I don't know how ppl accomplish the 1/2lb cause these were giant as is lol. What really sold us was the personality of the chef, he's got the best energy; had us cracking up! I tried this place on a word of mouth recommendation from a friend. He was absolutely correct about the delicious Burger this guy grills up. Think old school burger with fresh ingredients. Juicy and flavorful. I ordered the sweet potato fries and was not disappointed. Friendly and speedy service with a smile. My first bite of this burger prepared in a clean, vibrant stainless steel cute food cart, was the moment when all the food memories flooded my mind. Riding bikes, smelling the burger scents wafting from the spot on 42nd while standing outside waiting for the #72 bus to arrive. The burgers come in quarter and half pound sizes. Might as well go for the big boy! C'mon, man! My fiance ordered the Brunch burger : a perfectly seasoned juicy patty topped with a hash brown, and egg, bacon too. I had the cheeseburger added mushrooms. Not selfish with the mushrooms. The burger is on a soft Sesame Bun that holds on to the very last bite. And this burger is not for the faint of heart.You will be sprung after your first bite. Prior to the holidays, this cute red colored food truck with an illustration of a perfect burger on the side was stolen, and later recovered in the Dalles. Fox 12 channel shared the story. Yum! Mr Big Burger might have changed my mind about smash burgers. Super good. And the guy that runs it is nice too.

The guy talked me into getting 'fish and chips'. Well I guess it must've been clean the freezer day because both the 'fish' (stinky tiny pieces), and the 'chips' (soggy greasy frozen krinkle fries). I literally took on bite of this mess and threw it away and went and got a burrito (which also sucked, but that's not this guys fault). They had a good selection to choose from but from curiosity, there was a PB&J burger that caught my interest. Never had anything like that so I decided to give it a shot since it's something new and I'm glad I did. To my surprise, it actually tasted real good, better than I thought it would. Mr Big Burger is a great food truck. The owner is friendly and has a great sense of humor. Mark had the "Mr big burger no lettuce." Burger is juicy and has cheese, sauteed mushrooms, egg, grilled hot link, onions and pickles, possibly bacon, Mark ate it fast before we could take photo. The steak fries are fabulous. Next time he will try burger with peanutbutter and blackberry jam. read more
