A super solid place for some great bbq, sides, and even a smashed burger. We came here for lunch and wanted to try an assortment of items. The special of the day was prime rib, so me made sure to try that as well. We had the brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, turkey, and sausage. For the sides, the spicy Mac n cheese, broccoli cauliflower bake, pork & beans, sweet potato & collards, potato salad, and regular Mac n cheese. Everything was super tasty and worth trying out. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the turkey and ribs were. The spicy Mac n cheese was super delicious and is a must. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is also a must. The smashed burger was also made really well and the fries being cooked in beef tallow was super flavorful. Overall, worth going, but go with a few people so you can try a little of everything.

Had a friend in town that was visiting from California, he mentioned he wouldn't mind finding a nice barbecue place for dinner so I took a lo ok around on yelp and Botto's was close by to both of us so I thought that would be a good stop. Turns out I was correct as this is a well established barbecue restaurant and has been around for many years. It appears to be a really nice local spot. When I arrived I had a hard time finding a parking space, and there was a line out the door waiting to order. I made my way through the line, and my friend joined me before we had to place our order. I chose the burnt ends as that was a weekend special along with a Polish sausage. I had the potato salad and macaroni and cheese as my side my friend chose a plate with brisket. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and it looked delicious, smelled delicious and it tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend this local joint if anyone is looking for good tasty barbecue.

We ordered ahead but that does not mean that they will have it ready then, it just guarantees they will set aside the meat (is my understanding). We waited 25 minutes from the time we waited in line until we let them know we had arrived to when we got the order. It is some of the absolute best pulled pork I've ever had. And the Mac and Cheese was fantastic (best in town). The other meats were okay and I didn't care for and of the sauces. Beans also didn't really have depth of flavor. Overall well prepared food and were look forward to trying their other menu items. Small parking lot by the building. Tables inside and it is very clean. Good service too.

Friday Special **Beef rib, slaw, mac n cheese, and potato salad. no notes, y'all!

That beef rib walked so all other BBQ could run. Black bark, pink smoke ring, three sides I didn't share with anyone. Botto's, you have my whole heart and my empty tray.

5 stars for Portland bbq options. The service was quick, efficient, friendly. There are limited seating options but you can get a take out. Currently they have Christmas Eve menu options as well. On Friday early evening they had a few items sold out, so it is good to check it out early. Food was really good and they had multiple options z

Wow. The line was out the door at 12:05 and they opened at 12 on that day. 100% worth the wait. We went on a Saturday so we could get the pork belly burnt ends (my favorite!) we also indulged in a BBQ parfait (yes, you heard that right!). I wasn't sure what it was going to be but it had all my favorite ingredients-basically a galicky, creamy mac n cheese bowl with your choice of meat-brisket for me-topped with fried onions. I'm in heaven, I could eat this every day and be happy. My husband loves their smoked turkey and sausage. We also got a side of fries, cause why not? They are sort of taste like curly fries to me but they are straight. The honey mustard is my favorite to dip it in. Hint-all of this reheats well in the air fryer, as much as I wanted to eat it all in one sitting I had to stop myself from pigging out. Can't wait to go back and try the prime rib dip next! Love!

This bbq place is the bomb!! We met some friends for lunch and will definitely be back! Some indoor seating. But it's was a beautiful day so we sat outside.

The order was ready right at 11:15 like the online estimated time instead when I got there, the staff was very friendly. I got the brisket cheesesteak and it was absolutely delicious and the cheese was so warm and melted and coded all the brisket, vegetables, and everything inside. I think the size of the sandwich is definitely shareable with another side between two people. My wife got the spare ribs and it was juicy and tender. We also got the tallow fries and those were absolutely delicious. Definitely going to come back here again try more things.

Food was delicious and quick! Everything was nice and hot/warm. Friend and I shared a 3 meats combo which came with two sides, and we also added one sausage link. This was more than enough food for the both of use, which we ended up taking leftovers home. All the meats we tried tasted great. My favorite was definitely the brisket and the sausage. Next time I would opt for the regular mac and cheese and the french fries as sides. The french fries were absolutely DELICIOUS. They were crispy, airy, hot and well seasoned. I would come back just to get those fries! This is more of a self serve spot, so you order at the counter whenever you're ready. They give you a table number and then it's time for open seating. We got there just before the dinner rush so there was plenty of seats, but shortly after there was a line out the door and all tables were full. Definitely come a little earlier before 6:30/7 to beat that dinner rush! Overall a great spot and I would come back again!

Some very good BBQ at Botto's on SE Milwaukie. I had the Thursday special, the pastrami brisket. Savory and smoky, with a peppery, deep rich flavor. Tender, juicy texture. Came with a choice of BBQ sauce or mustard. I went for the BBQ sauce along with a couple of complimentary slices of white bread. Fine meal on a lovely afternoon. Excellent service. Sunny atmosphere.

The line was long but the bbq was worth the wait. We had the Pork belly burnt ends, brisket, potato salad, mac & cheese, and the hula pie. The burnt ends were my favorite bite. Staff were super friendly. We sat outside on their patio. Overall great lunch on a sunny pdx day! Absolutely would go back and/or order ahead and carry out.

Solid barbecue with a very cool location. The brisket and sausage are the standouts for me. If you're in the Brooklyn area of Portland I recommend stopping by.

OK, this is a delicious stew. Wonderful flavor must try.
    Krissy H.

Absolutely incredible BBQ--must try! OK, so first off, the service was amazing. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they'll bring the food right to you. Heads up--this isn't a fancy or romantic date-night type of place, but trust me, the food more than makes up for it. We ordered the pastrami brisket, jalapeño cheese sausage, and spicy sausage--all delicious. The spicy macaroni and cheese? Oh baby. Probably the best spicy mac & cheese I've ever had. We also had the stew (delicious), and even the baked beans -- which I normally don't like -- were delicious. And of course, the ribs were tender, smoky, and delicious too. The whole place smells like real deal slow-smoked barbecue, and every bite proved it. A delightfully delicious spot from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

They arrived on time and, even though they were unexpectedly shorthanded on the day of our event, Mike arrived promptly at the designated time, set everything up all by himself, made sure the food was hot, stocked, and nicely presented, and left everything clean and tidy when finished. Their pricing was extremely fair, and their quote was actually lower than any of the other caterers we looked at. Through no fault of Mississippi Delta, we ran low on food before all of our work force had made it to the cafeteria, so there was very little left for our night shift which started at 4:00PM. We were more than prepared to pick up an alternative BBQ selection at a local restaurant, but Mike insisted on returning to their facility, picking up more trays of food, and bringing everything back just in time for the night crew to be able to have dinner before starting their shift. The icing on the cake was that they didn't even charge us for the extra food. We will absolutely use them again the next time we have a BBQ lunch. Pictured is a "half pound of brisket" for $23.00 and 60%-70% of it is just inedible fat! What was edible (3.4 ounces), was honestly disgusting and looks nothing like the photos they show online, as you can see for yourself. $11.00 for a cup of sour smelling banana pudding that was immediately tossed in the trash. $4.00 for a "chicken breast" that was literally 2 bites... This is the second and last time we will ever order from them again. I have never been more disappointed in an order of food in my entire life. We spent over $70 for the brisket as shown, a small salad with 2 bites of chicken, soggy coleslaw and sour banana pudding. Beyond unacceptable! Never again and truly hope this saves someone else from the disappointment that Reverend's BBQ truly is. Complete waste of money! Edit: It has been about 45 minutes since I ate what little of the brisket that was actually meat and not just fat, and I am extremely nauseous. Not worth the money, disappointment or naseau. Just looking at the photo alone, I wonder why I even tried eating it. Absolutely disgusting.
