We ordered ahead but that does not mean that they will have it ready then, it just guarantees they will set aside the meat (is my understanding). We waited 25 minutes from the time we waited in line until we let them know we had arrived to when we got the order. It is some of the absolute best pulled pork I've ever had. And the Mac and Cheese was fantastic (best in town). The other meats were okay and I didn't care for and of the sauces. Beans also didn't really have depth of flavor. Overall well prepared food and were look forward to trying their other menu items. Small parking lot by the building. Tables inside and it is very clean. Good service too.

Friday Special **Beef rib, slaw, mac n cheese, and potato salad. no notes, y'all!

That beef rib walked so all other BBQ could run. Black bark, pink smoke ring, three sides I didn't share with anyone. Botto's, you have my whole heart and my empty tray.

This bbq place is the bomb!! We met some friends for lunch and will definitely be back! Some indoor seating. But it's was a beautiful day so we sat outside.

5 stars for Portland bbq options. The service was quick, efficient, friendly. There are limited seating options but you can get a take out. Currently they have Christmas Eve menu options as well. On Friday early evening they had a few items sold out, so it is good to check it out early. Food was really good and they had multiple options z

Wow. The line was out the door at 12:05 and they opened at 12 on that day. 100% worth the wait. We went on a Saturday so we could get the pork belly burnt ends (my favorite!) we also indulged in a BBQ parfait (yes, you heard that right!). I wasn't sure what it was going to be but it had all my favorite ingredients-basically a galicky, creamy mac n cheese bowl with your choice of meat-brisket for me-topped with fried onions. I'm in heaven, I could eat this every day and be happy. My husband loves their smoked turkey and sausage. We also got a side of fries, cause why not? They are sort of taste like curly fries to me but they are straight. The honey mustard is my favorite to dip it in. Hint-all of this reheats well in the air fryer, as much as I wanted to eat it all in one sitting I had to stop myself from pigging out. Can't wait to go back and try the prime rib dip next! Love!

Food was amazing and honestly some of the best barbecue I've had so far being in Portland and the service was just as amazing. Would definitely recommend

The order was ready right at 11:15 like the online estimated time instead when I got there, the staff was very friendly. I got the brisket cheesesteak and it was absolutely delicious and the cheese was so warm and melted and coded all the brisket, vegetables, and everything inside. I think the size of the sandwich is definitely shareable with another side between two people. My wife got the spare ribs and it was juicy and tender. We also got the tallow fries and those were absolutely delicious. Definitely going to come back here again try more things.

Botto's is a heavy hitter in Portland BBQ. Barbecue is always pricey but this seemed like a solid deal at $24, with a meal worth of leftovers. I am steadfast in the belief that Botto's has one of the best smashburger deals in the city. $6 for a quarter pound brisket patty, cheaper than fast-food. Sausage was great at $7 and larger than other BBQ spots. Excellent casing snap. BBQ parfait is a great filling item at $11, mac is great and you get a good amount of meat. Good service is a plus, too.

Food was delicious and quick! Everything was nice and hot/warm. Friend and I shared a 3 meats combo which came with two sides, and we also added one sausage link. This was more than enough food for the both of use, which we ended up taking leftovers home. All the meats we tried tasted great. My favorite was definitely the brisket and the sausage. Next time I would opt for the regular mac and cheese and the french fries as sides. The french fries were absolutely DELICIOUS. They were crispy, airy, hot and well seasoned. I would come back just to get those fries! This is more of a self serve spot, so you order at the counter whenever you're ready. They give you a table number and then it's time for open seating. We got there just before the dinner rush so there was plenty of seats, but shortly after there was a line out the door and all tables were full. Definitely come a little earlier before 6:30/7 to beat that dinner rush! Overall a great spot and I would come back again!

Some very good BBQ at Botto's on SE Milwaukie. I had the Thursday special, the pastrami brisket. Savory and smoky, with a peppery, deep rich flavor. Tender, juicy texture. Came with a choice of BBQ sauce or mustard. I went for the BBQ sauce along with a couple of complimentary slices of white bread. Fine meal on a lovely afternoon. Excellent service. Sunny atmosphere.

The line was long but the bbq was worth the wait. We had the Pork belly burnt ends, brisket, potato salad, mac & cheese, and the hula pie. The burnt ends were my favorite bite. Staff were super friendly. We sat outside on their patio. Overall great lunch on a sunny pdx day! Absolutely would go back and/or order ahead and carry out.

Solid barbecue with a very cool location. The brisket and sausage are the standouts for me. If you're in the Brooklyn area of Portland I recommend stopping by.

Amazing brisket! The best I've had in the PNW. This place is bustling and there's often a line. Items can be sold out especially on the weekends so get in the queue early. My favorite is the two meat plate with brisket and sausage. The sides are exquisite. It's a small operation, but the staff is quite friendly. It's on the pricey side, but worth it. If you like authentic Texas barbecue and you live in Portland or are visiting, this is your spot! in a small A-frame building this place gets filled up fast. The only downside is that they don't have a bathroom. You have to use the porta potty outside, but it does have a code so it's not trashed at least.

OK, this is a delicious stew. Wonderful flavor must try.

As…read moreyou walk up they have a very large outdoor seating area for at least 80 people, the main entrance has Podnah's name posted within a rustic building. The building is a very casual place, as you walk in the friendly staff greet you and ask you to take a seat wherever you like. We decided to sit in the backside of the building it is a very peaceful section by the kitchen, you can smell the amazing smokey scent of the bbq from there. The walls are covered black and white cowboy pictures. As someone mention in their review, parking is a little challenging but we found parking in the neighborhood within 5 min. The Menu is simple and to the point, one page is drinks the other page is the BBQ, We shared the Pit Boss Platter, you will find that it feeds 2-3, you get a 1/4 pound of brisket and pulled pork, 2 pork ribs, 1 link (very good size) cornbread and your choice of 2 sides, we choose the collard greens and the the green chile mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. It was plenty for the two of us that shared it, we actually took some of it home, I also tied in the pickles, the are served with pickled onions and jalapeños (yummy). The BBQ flavor was amazing, nice and smoky , great smoke rings, they table drop in three different sauces, a vinegar oil, a surprisingly tasty mustard sauce and their house bbq sauce, they are all great tasting. My son ordered the 2 meat plate, he loved the Brisket and Ribs, he also tried the Pinto beans with Brisket, they were very tasty. Overall Podnah's lived up to the hype. If you are in the area its worth a try.

There are plenty of really good bbq places in the area that will give you comparable food without that. Neither myself or anyone in my party will be going back while this is still present, sadly.

Pictured is a "half pound of brisket" for $23.00 and 60%-70% of it is just inedible fat! What was edible (3.4 ounces), was honestly disgusting and looks nothing like the photos they show online, as you can see for yourself. $11.00 for a cup of sour smelling banana pudding that was immediately tossed in the trash. $4.00 for a "chicken breast" that was literally 2 bites... This is the second and last time we will ever order from them again. I have never been more disappointed in an order of food in my entire life. We spent over $70 for the brisket as shown, a small salad with 2 bites of chicken, soggy coleslaw and sour banana pudding. Beyond unacceptable! Never again and truly hope this saves someone else from the disappointment that Reverend's BBQ truly is. Complete waste of money! Edit: It has been about 45 minutes since I ate what little of the brisket that was actually meat and not just fat, and I am extremely nauseous. Not worth the money, disappointment or naseau. Just looking at the photo alone, I wonder why I even tried eating it. Absolutely disgusting.

The white curry is unbelievably rich and savory - the burnt brisket completely makes the dish unique! I genuinely dream about it! If you're visiting Portland and only have time for one meal, this is the restaurant I'd recommend without hesitation. Don't skip the drinks either - they're served in the cutest mugs. Eem continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Portland and I can't recommend it enough!

We waited 45 minutes for a seat at the bar and seated around 6:40 PM. Before we were seated, I overheard someone wanting to wait for a seat at the bar and the waiting time was 1 hour and 45 minutes. I highly recommend setting up a reservation. I heard a lot of chatter and seen plenty of reviews speaking highly of the white curry with burnt brisket ends. I had no clue what to expect, but that meal was such a highlight of meals I had while in Portland. I do not eat seafood (have not for a few years) and the broth is made with shellfish, but for this dish I was willing. The dish itself is a five star dish! The dish is well-balanced, flavorful & light. The brisket is absolutely amazing, and this is coming from someone who used to work at a barbecue joint back in the day for a few years. I would recommend this dish to anyone, unless you have a seafood allergy lol. That part is slightly misleading, I did not see anyone mention anything about shellfish and would not have guessed it, assuming the dish was simply just curry and beef. For anyone eyeing this dish, be aware that those with a shellfish allergy cannot indulge. The Bok Choy, not specifically called this on the menu, is DELICIOUS! One of the best I have ever had! It is so good, I wanted to order two just for one person! Highly recommend!! The Thai tea fell flat. I am a HUGE fan of Thai tea, so much so I purchase a specific tea from a nearby tea shop just to make it at home. I make it an absolute mission to order Thai tea if it's offered anywhere I try. At this restaurant, I would not order it again. The red curry with lamb shoulder was good, my partner ordered that dish. Specifically, he was NOT a fan, me on the other hand, I would love to go back to this establishment and get both of the curry dishes for myself. He says, it lacks flavor, so much so he could not finish it. This is really weird coming from him because he thinks everything is "flavorful" when most times, I think it is lacking. Basically, he is someone that thinks everything is good when it comes to food. On the other hand, me? Well, I am always gonna have some complaints. I think the red curry with lamb shoulder was very lamb forward. The strong flavor of the lamb, cuts the flavor of "curry" significantly. Where in comparison with the white curry and burnt brisket ends, all the flavors of brisket, shellfish, and curry were able to shine through, truly it is a really fantastic dish.
