    Soy Garlic and Gochujang Chicken

I've been wanting to try the Snow Cheese chicken, but when my bf picked up some food from here, he got the Gochujang and Soy Garlic chicken. Both flavors were good. I'd like to come back to try the Snow Cheese flavor.

Delicious fried chicken from Frybaby tonight. We heard this was a favorite from a food blogger I follow so I immediately had to check it out and it did not disappoint. The favorites were the kimchi Mac and the gochujang tenders. Everything's good so I recommend having each person getting a different type of sauce and then splitting! Finding good gluten free options is always a plus too.

These wings were amazing! The moment I took my first bite into them I noticed how juicy the meat was! When I pulled the meat off the bone, they came off super easy and you know that they had cooked these wings perfectly! The sauces that cover these wings were just the correct amount of saltines and hints of garlic. Service was really good and there was a really nice place indoor to sit to enjoy these wings as well as watch some TV.

Crunchi- crispi-est chicken ever. When you order chicken somewhere for the first time, you never know what size the pieces will be. these are mighty drumsticks. I could barely finish it. Not sure what's kim chi about the macaroni and cheese but it was very tasty.

10/10 double fried tenders with the sides are a must. The snow cheese was sweet and full of flavors i loved it.

I love Korean fried chicken and fried chicken sandwiches but this one missed the mark for me. I tried the Snow Cheese sandwich and it was quite lackluster - I mean the chicken was fine but the shredded lettuce and other toppings were lame and the bun wasn't the best. It was also pretty small. Maybe I would've liked one of the other flavors better.

Picked up some giant naked drummies togo that air fried to perfection back home. It was a great way to keep crisp skin intact til ya can get to it. You can then dip or toss in sauce to your hearts desire. Can we take a moment for that curry mash tho...didn't know I was missing this in mah liiiife till now. Kudos on a classic w a twist. Will have to come back and try diff chick flavs and sides. Pick up was easy. Staff good vibes...check :) There was a few covered picnic tables to sit and grub as well.

Overall this is a solid food cart, I actually think my favorite thing I tried was their Kimchi Mac and Cheese. The kimchi and cheese flavors were very strong, and the mac and cheese was very creamy. We tried two chicken flavors, the snow cheese wings and Gochujang tenders. The snow cheese flavor was my favorite (the outside texture has good flavor but the chicken inside isn't seasoned super well) The gochujang sauce was a bit too sweet for me and lacked much spice Service is fast, and there's good seating in the food cart park

Got 4 chicken tenders with half snow cheese and the other with gojuchang and a side of kimchi Mac and cheese which was really good. The people that worked there were really nice and helpful. They're located at the Heist with other other food trucks and the place is lively and welcoming.

This is one of my favorite places to get Korean fried chicken in the Portland area! The chicken is always large, super crispy and full of flavor. I especially like the soy garlic flavor. The kimchi mac n cheese is also great! It is cheesy and has just the right amount of kimchi and spice. The food all came out very quickly despite there being a line.

Frybaby has been on my list to try for a long time. This week also happened to be wing week as well. We got to try their Korean Honey Butter wing special and their wings with Snow Cheese. Also got their plum soda drink and a side of fries. The wings come with the drumette, wingette and tip which I loved. Nice big piece of fried chicken. The skin was super crispy, but the meat was juicy, tender and fall of the bone. The honey butter wing was good with some sweet and savory flavor, however, the snow cheese was amazing. My first bite I was in awe, so delicious. It went nicely with the scallion greens and the pickled radish. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The plum soda was refreshing and went nicely with the fried chicken. There's no on site parking, but there's street parking available which isn't too hard to find. Food came out quickly and there's outdoor seating but it's covered which is nice. You bus your own table if you are dining in but otherwise can do take out too. Overall, will definitely be coming back especially for the snow cheese wings. I think this is definitely my favorite spot for Korean Fried Chicken in Portland now.

Korean Fried chicken sandwich is the bomb. Kimchi fries are good, just a tad sweeter than I like. I'll need to order the snapper next time.

Two bibimbaps to go: one was tofu and the other was spicy pork. Spicy pork is not spicy but looks like it is. Good taste, so it's marinated well and the meat isn't tough to chew, like some other places. I loved the spicy pork bibimbap though. All fresh ingredients! They give a lot of vegetables, which is so nice, because other places are very sparing with their ingredients. I'm usually left with so much rice at the end. However, this place did a good job giving the right amount of ingredients. They also gave a small cup of miso soup - thank you! Would get this again! My husband enjoyed his tofu version. If you're someone who wants spice, add some of the red sauce they give you in a cup. I was very happy the spicy pork wasn't spicy, but I liked being able to control any spice with the red sauce.

Location: This bar is on the first floor of the Hyatt House Portland / Downtown. Ambiance: Pretty quiet and chill. There weren't a lot of people there so it was really easy to get a drink. Drink options: I really loved how they circle around different local beer on tap. They also have a few bottled beer too. They have a cast amount of liquor too. Surprisingly, they had a new bottle of Hennessy when we finished the first (during our stay). Usually a lot of bars in hotels don't have it, so that was a major plus. Bartenders: We met three while we were there. All of them super kind, friendly, and informative of the surrounding area. They gave us lots of tips on what to see, eat, and drink. They were really down to earth people. Pricing: I thought it to be fairly reasonable for a hotel, however I might just be jaded from Bay Area pricing (yikes). What I loved about this bar is that we were able to just chat with the bartender. I didn't feel like I had to go back to my room with my drink (which is usually the case). I was able to talk to a few other people sitting at the bar too. Of course all from out of town, but still nice talking to other friendly strangers. They do serve food at this place, but I didn't really get a chance to try it it since there was soooo many other food joints in the area.
