I threw a party here for my 6-year-old and want to share some observations, the good with the…read morenot-so-good. let's start with the positive: Boomerang is super-well laid out, with tons of different play areas for the little ones. the private-party rooms are also neat, giving events a feeling of intimacy--where kids can run in and out of the party room and the play areas. I also really enjoyed how Boomerang customizes the party atmosphere with photos projected on the screen, although the practice of bringing a thumb drive is antiquated and should be updated to facilitate emailed or uploaded photos. What was odd for me is Boomerang's policy of "not bringing in outside food" when the staff apparently orders from outside sources like a pizza place. If that's the stated policy, how about giving guests the option of ordering from a specific place they favor? alternatively, having a number of "preferred vendors" might be a way to give party-throwers more of a choice. I got the impression, which was wrong, that Boomerang had some sort of in-house kitchen service, which I understand adds an added layer of complexity to any business. For our party, the pizza joint delivery was late and we had to wait for the food to arrive. The staff at Boomerang was really nice, and I felt bad for our room attendant who seemed overworked and stressed. I tipped her $40 to try and thank her for the effort. With some pointed areas of improvement, all-in-all I'm VERY glad we have Boomerang as a resource to work out "the wiggles" of our kids.

Since his birthday was coming up, we decided to take him to Boomerang to celebrate and figured we would go early on a Sunday morning in hopes that it wouldn't be too crowded. Ohhhhh how wrong we were.... Located just off Amsterdam (near Piedmont Park), we arrived 7 minutes after they opened and the parking lot was absolutely full of kids and parents and I immediately thought maybe this was a bad idea. Luckily there is plenty of free parking so after searching for a bit, we were able to find a spot and walked up for our adventure. When we walked, in the line was wrapped around the area where you place your belongings. We placed our shoes in the cubbies and there was a nice young man going to those of us waiting in line holding an iPad asking if we had completed the waiver that necessary to play. He also let us know that he could assist us with completing the waiver on the iPad he had or he gave further direction regarding using the QR code posted on the wall near the entrance area. The line moved pretty quickly and we paid. The young girl at the front seemed a little all over the place with so many people but she was kind while interacting with my husband and let us know she would need to stamp all of our hands in the event we wanted to leave and come back since admission (I think $16 per child and the accompanying adult is free but any other adult with that child is $6) allows you to leave and come back if needed. I liked that there was a gate to both the entrance and exit of the play area which seemed to be good for keeping little wayward children from bolting out the building. This place was soooo much fun and my 4 year old had an absolute blast. There were several different areas for the kiddos to play with...an inflatable slide, a light up dance floor, an obstacle course, ball pit, huge interactive game screen, and an area for toddlers. I was able to snag a spot near the dance floor in the middle of the play area so I was able to keep an eye on him and allow him the opportunity to just run around and be a kiddo. I liked that someone was doing a sweep of the area s and cleaning every 30 mins or so. They do not have tons of food options but you are able to purchase snacks and drinks while there but no outside food is allowed. Overall a wonderful first visit and we will definitely be back!

We love this little playground! My son loves to watch the planes! There are restrooms in the hangar as well, which makes my small bladder very happy, and ensures we can spend as long as we want playing and watching the runway.

It's a small space, yet, it's very modern and beautiful inside. There were 3 different areas available for use: main area for seating, food and drinks area, and an area that was used for preparations. There was a Bunny Hive employee there to assist, and she was very kind and helped as much as she was able to. Very nice space; I highly recommend this business for rental for a small gathering.

The ladies working inside were super friendly to me, someone who has never visited before. I didn't get a chance to preregister for a class online (which is required) but I had come just i time for the outdoor books and bubbles class which they let me join for free. My baby was too small to appreciate the book reading but the other toddlers in the class seemed to enjoy it! We started with a welcome song, then two books and a bubble dance party. Overall, I felt very welcomed, safe to unwind/relax with my baby, and I look forward to coming back!

I play tennis at Ashford Park and find the courts are well maintained. It's first come first serve,…read morehowever, you may have to leave if someone comes with a reservation. You can pay $7 an hour to reserve courts online and they have 2 courts to choose from. The only drawback is that the courts are not lit at night so you can only play until sundown. Overall, parking is easy and they have a bathroom onsite. Weekends are busy with other activities and kids playing in the park.

The layout is fun and the park itself is beautiful, especially in the winter when the leaves are thin and you can actually see the baskets through the trees. That said, the course could really benefit from clearer signage. Several pads weren't well marked, and we even had to skip a hole because we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. Since we only had time to play about half the course, we found ourselves spending more minutes navigating than throwing. I can't imagine how tough it must be in the summer when everything is fully leafed out -- it's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Still, it's a solid course in a great park, and with better markings it could easily be a five‑star experience.

My family came here during the holidays to check out the holiday lights and we had soooooo much…read morefun! I had no idea this was an annual thing and am happy that the city of Dunwoody does this and am definitely looking forward to next year's lights. While there were a ton of people, there was plenty of parking and I appreciated that there was an officer there to keep the flow of cars moving along. The park itself had several playgrounds and I loved they were padded. The kids had a blast on slides, swings and running around in the wide open space. The bathrooms were clean which always makes things even better. The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids and this is definitely a playground I'd come back to visit.

I went here with my gf for a Zumba class using ClassPass. We arrived early to be able to find the…read moreroom. The gym is inside Peachtree Presbyterian Church. When you walk past the front desk you go down a long hallway and it looks like they have several fitness rooms and a gymnasium (there were people playing basketball in there when we walked past). The Zumba class we took was with instructor Tash. She literally screamed at us and all the students / participants throughout the class, and came within 2 feet of me to scream (and I mean triple SCREAM) at me to get my legs up. This was inappropriate and made me extremely uncomfortable. Tash asked when I entered the room if this was my first Zumba class. Despite me telling her yes, there was no instruction nor a speed a first timer could even begin to keep up with. Not sure why the question was asked in the first place. The gym overall looked clean enough, and spacious. There were at least 15 people in this particular class on a Saturday, and there was plenty of room for all of us (if any more had joined, it would have felt crowded).

She was nice enough, extremely knowledgeable, and had a contagious can-do positive personality. We were sold on this and the size and cleanliness of the facilities. Unfortunately, she is not the one teaching the classes. Teenagers/very young adults teach the classes and they are sweet but lack the experience it takes to work with toddlers and young kids. Motivation was lacking. Parents did not need to be in the class but in order to get the most of it we and other folks joined in as the coaches weren't attentive and appeared uninterested. We noticed some of the other coaches teaching the older kids were also lacking the excitement we feel a gymnastics coach should have (something akin to a cheerleading coach, full of energy and smiles.)

It started out ok and the longer our membership occurred with this location the more unprofessional and disrespectful it got. Which is why I had to stop taking my 7 month old and 22 month old here. On top of that they continued to charge my card when I had already cancelled membership and they told me I would no longer get charged which was a false statement, due to my card continuing to get charged for 3 months of not attending. They really need to hire new employees that value the members. It got to a point where I felt very uncomfortable taking my kids. Adding on, they do not clean properly and do not follow Covid procedures.

This was our second time visit and we had just as much fun as the first time! The space is huge and I must say the kiddos have the chance to run, jump, scream, and burn off sooooo much energy while parents/guardians can hang back a bit and allow kiddos to just have fun. This location is easy to miss is you're not paying attention to the signage and once you're in the parking lot, you'll want to enter at the door across from the gated open field. The other entrance (closest to Dekalb Industrial) will lead you to the open gym space. Either way, once you're inside, there's tons of fun to be had. Open play can be purchased online for $20 for two hours of playtime. I love the activities they have for the kiddos and there's a separate play space for the tinier ones. There plenty of space to sit, chat, and there's WiFi available if you need to bring your laptop. It's bright, lively, and a wonderful addition to the area.
