I have been using Hippodrome for their home cleaning services once a month for the past half a year and am very satisfied. Gulia and Maria do a great job cleaning counters and floors, dusting furniture, and making the beds. Even on days we don't leave the house in the tidiest condition, they manage to tidy the place up. We are almost never home when they come, but (although it should be a given) I appreciate that nothing, no valuables, or even small change has ever gone missing on their watch, even though we have not always remembered to tuck everything away. I also appreciate Kinjal and Vadim, who pick up the phone. Kinjal, in particular, is very accommodating in terms of scheduling and scope of work. I've never been charged more than we agreed on, and I appreciate their reasonable monthly rate for cleaning our relatively large home. I have become their regular. The only small things that could be even better are (1) it would be great if it were possible to schedule cleanings online, though I understand they are a small business and not everyone is tech savvy, and (2) there has occasionally been a bit of a language barrier, but in the end, I've always been able to get my meaning across. I don't think these are enough to dock 1 star. Keep up the good work, Hippodrome! read more

Very unprofessional business. I hired this company 3 times. The first 2 times, the cleaning person was over an hour Late. No one called to inform me of any delays. The third time , at the appointed time of 830am, someone called to say she would be 45 minutes late. Then, lo and behold, at 1000am, 90 minutes after she was supposed to arrive, I got another call that she would be at least another 45 minutes late. I canceled the service and would never use them again. If you live in forest hills, maybe they are more timely. But if you live outside of a walking distance from their office, I would not bother. The explanation (the third time, since no one ever answered my calls the second time) I got was they have a driver who is seemingly always on vacation. So the staff has to take the bus that either always breaks down, or is always in traffic, even on a Sunday morning at 8am. read more

When I got here I was so nervous, since it's a tailor in the basement of a building. They seemed nice enough and the price was SO much cheaper than other places so I left my gown. They do good service. If you live in Parker Towers they do a good job of same day wash & delivery to the doorman. One reason why I can't give it five stars is they charge extra for alot of things... low temp tumble dry they charge 25% more, cleaning of blankets they charge extra, if I bring two bags, they charge for each bag individually and not together, etc. read more

THE BEST HOME CLEANING I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Truly. Kate came and cleaned our two bedroom, 600 square feet apartment for almost 4 hours and it is honestly cleaner than I have ever seen it. She was kind, considerate (had my 3 month old home with me), precise and detailed. She even cleaned our radiators, some baseboards, inside of some Windows, etc. in addition to regular cleaning.
