After the high cost of her machines and cost of detergent and OXYclean, the delivery service isn't that much more expensive we have found, and it's so much more convenient and less stressful on our part. New Busy Season does an amazing job on the laundry itself. Her clothes are spotless and perfectly folded and they never seem overdried. And they make pick-up and drop-off a breeze for our mom. We love that they will call to make sure she's home before delivering so she can wait by the intercom since she's hard of hearing and might not hear the buzz otherwise. I don't know if that's standard procedure on their part to call, but the fact that they do in this case is wonderful. She calls them when she is ready for a new pick-up and they tell her what time they will be there, and I think she says it's always promptly. She says the delivery person is always very friendly as well. Just a perfect on-going experience with this great business. We are all so grateful!

Dropped off Wednesday morning and pick up is the following Tuesday afternoon. Pay cash to avoid 3.5% credit card fee. I like how the cashier was honest and told me I can throw my throw blanket in the washing machine due to its material, which I agree 100% but I wanted the furs to be fluffy so opted for dry cleaning.

When we got back to our room I noticed he dropped his receipt and when I went to picked it up, I noticed they overcharged my boyfriend for the dry cleaning. I asked him I thought it was $1.49 a shirt, why is it so much? When he took a look at the receipt again, he thought he was charged close to $4 cause of taxes, etc. The next day we stopped by and I waited for him outside in front of the shop while he wanted to know why he was overcharged. I can hear a lady getting loud with him. I don't know what words were exchanged until I asked when he came outside. He was told that the $1.49 price was during certain times of the day and on certain days. He explained to the lady that was never told to him and if that was as the case he would had never dropped his shirts off. He was trying to tell the lady at the counter that this was kind of like false advertisement because you can't advertise $1.49 a shirt if there were restrictions and I agree. It should've had something like see inside for details, some restrictions apply or something like that below the price. He was told that he would be charged $5 in total and even though that was not what was advertised but it was better than nothing. Because we didn't make it back in time before they closed at six, they were closed on Sunday and just happen to be open early enough Monday morning for him to grab his shirts before we left to come back home. I went in the shop with him this time and he says to her "Do you remember me? Remember me from Saturday?" All of a sudden she had amnesia and acted like this was the first time she seen him especially when he brought up the five dollars for the shirts. She still insisted on him paying the original price and she just told him on Saturday it would be $5!!! If this is how they conduct business, they outta be ashamed of themselves. I can't believe they been around 15 years and this is how you treat customers?! I don't take any pleasure in leaving bad reviews, but this place deserved it!
