5 Stars just doesn't do these ladies justice at all! I called at around 7am in a panic because my daughter's prom dress had just been delivered and needed alterations for that night! They told us to come in and upon seeing the dress again on my daughter, I/we realized that it needed to be shortened, as well. Though they were clearly very busy, when I asked if they really had time to do additional work on the dress, I was told with a smile, "We have to. She needs it". These are the absolute nicest ladies. The whole experience was so positive - they were all warmth and smiles. And my daughter looked absolutely stunning and radiated confidence because of that dress. What a poor representation of the company. I literally live a block away and haven't been able to successfully use this place. The first time i went, i went based on the hours listed in the photos, but they were closed. The 2nd time i went to get my dress hemmed , they said the tailor isnt there mondays. Only tues-sat 9-2. And i need this dress altered by Saturday. Soo basically on a normal day i would be left with only saturday to go in. As the normal working person works 9-5. Then im sure on saturdays theyre busy af. What kind of shitty schedule is 9:30-2. They should try to accommodate the majority of people and stay open a little late this way the average person doesnt need to skip work, or leave work early just to accommodate the 1 tailors schedule. The stuff is extremely friendly, also it's an Family owned business. Also, what really stands out to me is how clean the entire establishment is. I come once in awhile tondry clean clothes and they always been good,and fair prices. What does it take for a cleaner to receive full scores anyway: 1. Clean my stuff without losing/destroying them. 2. Get them back to me in the time you commit to. 3. Take my items in the form of dumping-mush-of-fabric-on-desk and return them to me with hangers, protective plastic, the works. 4. Do so in sub 12 dollars.
