We went back today with 2 rugs that were too big for my laundry machines at home. They ended up burning my $400 Ruggables rug and then tried to gaslight me. When dropping off the rug , we simply asked what time they would be closing and they said come back at 5 to pick up the stuff. When we went to go pick the rugs up, they told us that we rushed them and so they dried it on high and it was burnt. At first all he would say is he feels bad. I told him I felt pretty bad too seeing as I just bought the rug end of November and it's only February. I asked that he replace the rug and the man told me that it doesn't need to be replaced, It just goes on the floor and gets walked on. I again reminded him that it's essentially a brand new rug and asked for some sort of credit for laundry services and he said the most he could do for me is not charge me for either rug today. I would not be leaving this review if he would have at least met me halfway. Needless to say, we will be finding another laundromat.

Oh how I miss the old owner Sue! I brought in a pair of purple pants to be cleaned. When I picked them up, they were an entirely different color. Obviously something happened when cleaning them. I called the manufacture and they said that it has never happened before, and said that the cleaners should make good on the mistake. I brought the pants back to Syosset Cleaners, and showed them. Gary said to let him clean them again, and that he would call me after to discuss. He never called. I just went to check in, and the lovely lady who works there did not know what to do. The pants were still a different color. She called Gary's cell and sent a picture. I then spoke to Gary who would not admit the error in cleaning and would not make good on the $310 pants and the $20 I spent to have them cleaned. Nor would he give me a receipt as proof of the two times they were cleaned (I can't find my original receipt, but saw it on their computer.) First, he claimed that they were a different color bc they were dirty - which they weren't as he just cleaned them for the second time. At that point I stormed out, after I INSTISTED that he give me the ruined pants which at first he wouldn't do and had put them in the back. I will now deal with the Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. I hope $330 was worth it to a newly owned local business. Again, oh how I miss the old owners. This never would have happened with them! I have been using them for over 20 years - they were the ones with the good reviews, not the new owners.

NEW OWNER, WATCH OUT!…read more I called and got Elio. Seemed nice, and the reviews here were good (Now I see most are old), so I had him pick up. He said "the driver, Mike" will call to arrange pick up. He called a few minutes later, I told him to knock/ring and I'll get him the bags. I brought two of the three bags out and popped back inside to grab a third. When I came back, the bags were gone. No knock/ring or "hey, can I take these?" Nothing, just gone. Then 2 minutes later I get a text from some other named laundry company, telling me I have to Venmo or Zelle him $48. WHAT???? He hadn't even had time to weigh the bags. I had spoken on the phone to TWO men. They said nothing of any of this. They were changing the terms of the agreement. I called Elio on the store phone line, or so I thought. He then told me he sold the company to Mike the driver, and deal with him. He said that he is just doing the laundry work for Mike, but it's Mike's company now. Then he told me he isn't in the store, or even in the state. I tell him I don't like deal being changed, and I don't have their payment methods, and to just bring the bags back. He told me I will have to PAY THEIR MINIMUM, $25 to get my clothing back!!!!! When I objected, he started mouthing off to me. I hung up and called the local Police, who sent a car over. They took care of it. The infractions were clear: - They took the bags without notice (not even all the bags I had) - They changed the agreement after the fact. - They tried to create an illegal bailment with my property. Some might find that it might be a bit more on the pricier side however, for the quality of cleaning I definitely think it's worth it. I had recently bought an Aritzia super puff jacket, which cost me around $250, and only wore it about three times when I discovered I had a massive unknown stain. I emailed aritzia and went to their store asking what I should do to clean it. The store told me that the jacket is completely shot since I didn't know what stained my coat. My last and only hope was to try out dry cleaning and so I went to this place since I always have gone here for my other smaller dry cleaning needs. Every single time I have come here I have left satisfied. However, today when I picked up the coat I was completely astonished when the entire stain was gone. The coat looks brand new and they even dried the coat the exact way aritzia recommends with using a tennis ball. (Maintains the puffiness. I found a tennis ball in the pocket when I went home.) This clearly shows that Veroli goes the extra mile to make sure every garment is cleaned the exact way it supposed to. If anyone needs a dry cleaning place, please go to these people.
