Oh how I miss the old owner Sue! I brought in a pair of purple pants to be cleaned. When I picked them up, they were an entirely different color. Obviously something happened when cleaning them. I called the manufacture and they said that it has never happened before, and said that the cleaners should make good on the mistake. I brought the pants back to Syosset Cleaners, and showed them. Gary said to let him clean them again, and that he would call me after to discuss. He never called. I just went to check in, and the lovely lady who works there did not know what to do. The pants were still a different color. She called Gary's cell and sent a picture. I then spoke to Gary who would not admit the error in cleaning and would not make good on the $310 pants and the $20 I spent to have them cleaned. Nor would he give me a receipt as proof of the two times they were cleaned (I can't find my original receipt, but saw it on their computer.) First, he claimed that they were a different color bc they were dirty - which they weren't as he just cleaned them for the second time. At that point I stormed out, after I INSTISTED that he give me the ruined pants which at first he wouldn't do and had put them in the back. I will now deal with the Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. I hope $330 was worth it to a newly owned local business. Again, oh how I miss the old owners. This never would have happened with them! I have been using them for over 20 years - they were the ones with the good reviews, not the new owners.

They have had my item over 6 weeks and I'm still waiting....please respond, resolve and return my sweater immediately!!! Fixed or damaged at this point!!! 3pm approx same day. Turns out my terror wasn't necessary! Lena warmly scolded me for getting myself into such a pickle before pinning & marking the dress. I returned some days later to try it on & could not believe it! The dress felt great on & I felt beautiful, & layers upon layers of delicate fabric had been expertly snipped, tucked, shortened, & sewn. I have never seen them so clean - ever. Then I brought a coat that needed a new lining. We discussed it and agreed that replacing the whole lining was very expensive and not worth it. We went back today with 2 rugs that were too big for my laundry machines at home. They ended up burning my $400 Ruggables rug and then tried to gaslight me. When dropping off the rug , we simply asked what time they would be closing and they said come back at 5 to pick up the stuff. When we went to go pick the rugs up, they told us that we rushed them and so they dried it on high and it was burnt. At first all he would say is he feels bad. I told him I felt pretty bad too seeing as I just bought the rug end of November and it's only February. I asked that he replace the rug and the man told me that it doesn't need to be replaced, It just goes on the floor and gets walked on. I again reminded him that it's essentially a brand new rug and asked for some sort of credit for laundry services and he said the most he could do for me is not charge me for either rug today.
