There's people washing their clothes in these machines but you never know what people put in them. What makes it worst is the employee saw them putting the mats in the washer and didn't say anything. Nothing!! she didn't say nothing to them. After today, I will never come back here and I hope I'm not itching in my clothes because I don't know what was put in the washer before me. Please be careful where you wash your cloths. I will try to take a picture if possible but they keep looking around because I think they know the mats are not suppose to be in the washer. I sort of put off the hemming then winter came and etc. The gentleman that took the pants said he thought it would be about $13.00 but would have to check with the seamstress. I did get a call back later saying it would be $17.00. That was fine with me. At this point I would just like to wear them a few times before summer is over. Now you might think $17.00 is a little pricey for hemming and ordinarily I would agree, but these pants are a stretchy material and they are very wide bottom legs. I feel like these pants are a throw back to the 70's, so you get the picture. I picked the pants up and they were hemmed perfectly. No bunching of the material, perfect hemming. Oh, did I mention that these pants are all black except the tie dye trim at the bottom where they were hemmed. Awesome! I know I will be hearing the BeeGee's and Donna Summer while I wear these pants.

She is on her AirPods all day, talking on the phone, and when you need help she will address you as if you're bothering her. Random, but just an FYI if you ever find yourself in my predicament...they don't accept pennies. The clothes were taking longer than expected to dry so luckily I found coins in my car. I wanted to exchange two dimes and five pennies for a quarter and she refused and said she doesn't take pennies. Will only visit for the convenience.

There are laundromats in my area, 3 within a two block radius, but they pale in comparison to Bayside Laundromat. These are the reasons why I will continue to drive out of my way: * the owners of this laundromat are a kind and friendly family. All help out if you need anything. They are always cleaning the floor, inspecting their machines and if a machine has gone down they fix it right away. * there is ample parking in the back of the store as well as street parking. If there isn't a spot to be found, there is a second lot across the street behind Key Food. * the neighborhood has a Starbucks, Dunkin', various Asian cuisine and Empanada spot. You can peruse the stores while you wait for your laundry to wash/dry. * Lastly, Alley Pond is down several blocks and after doing the laundry I often head there during warmer weather.
