CAR MATS, the car mats you step on when you sit in a car. I have never in my entire life seen this before. There's people washing their clothes in these machines but you never know what people put in them. What makes it worst is the employee saw them putting the mats in the washer and didn't say anything. Nothing!! she didn't say nothing to them. After today, I will never come back here and I hope I'm not itching in my clothes because I don't know what was put in the washer before me. Please be careful where you wash your cloths. I will try to take a picture if possible but they keep looking around because I think they know the mats are not suppose to be in the washer. That's what they have car wash facilities for. Please let me know if I'm wrong. They also put the mats in the dryer. Lord have mercy!!!

There are laundromats in my area, 3 within a two block radius, but they pale in comparison to Bayside Laundromat. These are the reasons why I will continue to drive out of my way: * the owners of this laundromat are a kind and friendly family. All help out if you need anything. They are always cleaning the floor, inspecting their machines and if a machine has gone down they fix it right away. * there is ample parking in the back of the store as well as street parking. If there isn't a spot to be found, there is a second lot across the street behind Key Food. * the neighborhood has a Starbucks, Dunkin', various Asian cuisine and Empanada spot. You can peruse the stores while you wait for your laundry to wash/dry. * Lastly, Alley Pond is down several blocks and after doing the laundry I often head there during warmer weather.

First, upon getting my clothes back ... a ton of my stuff was missing. Including pretty much all of my panties and underwear. 2 weeks worth of clothing and I got back 2 pairs of underwear??? Are you kidding. Second, Since we drop our clothes off we also recently realized they were clearly over charging. Ex: when bag was on scale it read 12lbs yet charged us 14. Our other bag read 14lbs and charged 16 and 17. My boyfriend mentioned something to the woman when she put 17 when it was clearly 14 and suddenly she had trouble speaking English. Meanwhile her tactic was complete BS being that on a regular basis she always has no issue understanding or speaking and communicating clearly. We did not appreciate that at all and I certainly did not appreciate a chunk of my clothing missing!!!!
