So I met my wife for lunch here and I had her order me the noodle dish. I guess they asked her on a spicy scale of 1-10, how spicy they should make it. Knowing that I can handle a good amount of heat, she said 6. That was a mistake. Those noodles were so dang hot, it was almost to the point of being unenjoyable. I said almost, I still ate the whole dish, sweating, but it was fine. I thought the dish was just ok, like it was just a spicy curry chow mein. I am only rating it three stars because the dish itself was a little greasy, and on my scale of one to five stars one is an Applebees or a Burger King that gives you food poisoning, and five stars would be Bos Taurus or Zydeco. read more

Wasn't satisfied with my noodle dish I asked for it to be spicy and I felt like I had a pile of different spices in my mouth. And the potstickers things lacked flavor and when you bit into one you get a pile of water in you're mouth. This is my second time coming and fair to say my last. read more

Randomly found this food truck on my way to Vancouver B.C. Ended up having momos, veg curry with rice, Aloo dum, mango Lassi, chai and talking about mountaineering!! I have spent months in Nepal and am so thankful that we have amazing Himalayan food here in Bend. The food here is some of the best in town, really. The mo-mo's (dumplings) are amazing as is the curry and everything else. I love that you can get brown rice and a healthy salad with everything. Himalayan Bites combines excellent preparation, unique flavors and friendly service at a fair price. If you've never had Himalayan food get your rump down to Spoken Moto and give it a try. On my last visit I had the Udon noodles with beef which were excellent so maybe try that if you are undecided. read more

Every dish I've had here is amazing. My favorite is probably the noodle dish (with beef) because it seems like the portion is pretty large. The Shaapta (beef dish) comes in second, followed by the dumplings (sha-momo). The flavors taste totally unique and authentic. The owner is very nice! You can also pick your spice level. The food here was delicious! I've never had Himalayan or Nepalese food before so I was a little intimidated but the menu is straight forward and first timer friendly. We ordered the sha momo dumplings and the udan noodles, both were seasoned perfectly. The staff were very nice and even took the time to stop by and see how we were enjoying our meal. Himalayan Bites is really very delicious! Now that it is located by Spoken Moto in that neat little grass food area the food and atmosphere experience is complete. My only wish is that there could be maybe one or two more momo dumplings on the plate because they were REALLY TASTY and I wanted more! Such great flavors, with a complimentary sauce to dip them in, plus a salad with a dressing I couldn't identify, but loved. So nice to have a new ethnic food variety in Bend! read more

I had a delicious, hot and spicy lunch of fresh from scratch dumplings filled with savory meat and spices. The dumplings were served with mixed greens and a light dressing. Very tasty! I got the beef and veggie stir fry and the flavor was amazing! We had to wait a bit for our food to come but we were in a group so that made some sense.
