The quality of services provided are more than any other dry cleaners I have ever been to. Items are given a look over and sweater are even given a de-pilling. They even sewed a missing button on my husband's shirt. if an item needs more attention, they can do that for a nominal charge. They made my long wool coat look like i just bought it; well worth it. Because extra attention is given to items, turnaround time is not the next day; it is 2-3 days out, or will ask for more time if extra work is needed. They do provide a rush service if possible for a small rush fee. Also...The seamstress on staff is highly experienced. Turn around time is good, but does get back up during the holidays and wedding season...so make your fitting appointment early. My dress looked like it was custom. I did read some reviews and what a couple of the low reviewers wrote, and that is not the norm, a random happenstance. Nothing has ever happened to my clothes, they always come out beautiful...but if it ever does, I know they will try to make it right. I do recommend this place.

After being referred to take my dress here I was extremely disappointed. Upon picking up my dress, there was very noticeable discoloration on my buttons on the dress. The owner reached out to me 5 days later with no real good explanation or solution. After I provided the idea of getting replacement buttons from the designer he said "well 99% of the time that's not possible". I went ahead and asked the shop I bought my dress from if I could anyway and I was indeed able to get replacement buttons. It's now February and buttons will not be in until May. I asked to pick up my dress and get reimbursed for the buttons and the replacement of them done by my seamstress who recommended them. They said okay - with no other compensation. I asked if they would do anything else for me and they did provide a credit of $100 on a $350+ service. When finalizing the reimbursement, they let me know they had already removed all the damaged buttons from my dress which really disappointed me. I picked up my dress and will be handling all the repairs on my own. It was disappointing I had to ask for and tell them what they should do without being offered anything from the beginning. If I would have preserved my dress I would have never seen this issue until decades down the road. If you preserve your dress with them I would make sure you inspect the dress after it is cleaned before you lock it up in a box. Will not return. They got 2 stars for prompt reply on communication.

As I was searching, I came upon an advertisement for Soapy Pete's. Though the cost would add up to more, I decided to give it a try. I have been using the service weekly for about a month now. It is perfect for my lifestyle. I pack my laundry in bags they provide. One mesh bag is for special items and the other is for regular items. For example, I put everything that I don't want to go through the dryer in the mesh bag. They pick up my laundry from my workplace (they will pick up from your home, too, of course) on Tuesday. Then they return it on Wednesday. They follow the instructions in my profile. Those indicate temperature settings for washing and drying, detergent and softener brands, what to hang, and how to fold. Throughout the process, they send text (you can also choose email) alerts to remind me when pick up will be, the time the driver will arrive for pick up and delivery, etc. The drivers have been friendly and professional, taking more care than I expected to make sure that my items on hangers aren't going to fall and that my bras are not showing out to everyone. Fees for the service are per pound of laundry. The fees are lower for weekly pick up versus scheduling only when wanted. There is a minimum charge, though, so if you have a low volume of laundry, try it for a few weeks to determine which makes more sense for you.
