I've been going here several years and am very pleased. My clothes don't have the gross chemical smell you get with traditional dry cleaners and I like that this is better for the environment. If you don't like how they press something they will redo it without a problem, but it has only happened once in all the dozens of times I've gone there. I've never gotten anything back with stains, I definitely would have noticed that. All the employees are friendly. They also have a fantastic mending service. I'm hard on my jacket inner pockets and my zippers, and they do a fantastic job fixing them. read more

This dry cleaner is the best for getting stains out. The owner loves a challenge! He will try his hardest if it's possible to remove stain.

I've gone to this cleaners for years. The last set of clothes I took in was ruined. When I complained an African American female became very aggressive in her tone and cussed me and told me to leave. This is unacceptable behavior and I will never return. I suggest other cleaners in the Grossed Pointe area. read more

I found this place in my search for a more environmentally friendly dry cleaner. There are three greener dry cleaning methods: 1. GreenEarth uses a silicone-based solvent, which degrades into silica, water, and carbon dioxide, which is much safer than perc, the chemical used by traditional dry cleaners. One study, however, revealed an increased risk of uterine cancer in female rats that were exposed to liquid silicone. This is by far the most common "green" dry cleaning method. 2. Liquid CO2 cleaning uses pressurized liquid CO2 to dissolve dirt and oils in the clothing. The liquid CO2 can be used again, and the gas CO2 is released into the air. These machines are really expensive and so liquid CO2 cleaners are hard to find. 3. Wet cleaning uses a computer-controlled washer and dryer that clean clothes gently. The machines spin more slowly and can be programmed by temperature, type of fabric, etc. H2O Cleaners, as you can gather from the name, uses the wet cleaning method. They had a special on their website for 10 pieces (blouses, pants, dry clean shirts, skirts, and blazers) for $46.95 prepaid, so I decided to try them out. They did a pretty good job. One shirt had a small dark stain on the sleeve, though. I'm pretty sure that it wasn't there before... maybe I was wrong? I had scrutinized all of my clothing beforehand so that I could point out stains to them, but I can't say for sure. It's a little far away for me, so I guess I have a difficult choice between a green dry cleaner/more carbon emissions from my car, or a less green dry cleaner and a shorter drive. So far I just haven't gotten anything dry cleaned in a long time... ha. read more

I worked here for 5 years and had my hours taken away and position filled by someone else because I was out for a week due to possible covid exposure. I had to get a test and couldn't work until I got my results. Less than a week later I got negative results and he told me my position has been filled. Chung is not a good person like he pretends to be. Work conditions at this establishment are disgusting, years of dust caked on to surfaces and nothing is cleaned properly. Do not come here, he doesn't even barely clean the clothes. If you say you want something dry cleaned there is an 95% chance your clothes were laundered because he barely uses the dry clean machine. He launders everything to save money. He tells us to charge the customer as much as possible and would tell me go charge more all the time for clothes that were barely stained. He charges you an extra $4.75 if your coat has a hood on it even if it's attached to and not removable from the coat. He says that he doesn't use any chemicals when cleaning, but that's a total LIE!! He uses awesome from the dollar store, a strong chemical, and tons of other dry cleaner only solvents to remove stains, so don't buy into his whole "organic cleaning" scam. He also says it's okay to keep any money found in people's pockets and when a washer found $100 before he kept it and bought the store pizza for lunch instead of returning it to the customer. I had an interview on a Friday late afternoon and then another one the following Tuesday early afternoon - I dropped off my interview outfit Saturday morning and when I mentioned that the latest I could pick it up was Tuesday when they opened, she was very accommodating and said she would put down to have it ready by Monday night at 5pm. It turned out to be more convenient to still pick it up the next morning when they opened, and I was very relieved to see it was ready and my clothes were stain-free. This cleaners is near my home and the prices are fair. I had an incident where I forgot to tell them I needed the item in s fee days so when I went back to pick it up it wasn't ready and I thought the black had bled into the white. He asked for a little more time to work on it and when I went back the dress looked brand new! He was very patient and courteous through it all. read more

This place is great! I've been taking my clothes here for 4 to 5 years now and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The clothes are always clean and fresh; the people there are friendly, polite and professional; the prices seem reasonable; and they use a water-based "green" cleaning method (which is why I went there in the first place). I should have given them a good review years ago but, like many of us, I usually only "rush to review" when I have had a BAD experience. So it was only while reading a (totally unrelated) review on Yelp that I was prompted (somehow?) to read their posted reviews. I was surprised that they only had one review, and I was puzzled that the reviewer gave it only 3 stars. So, as I was curious as to why they were given such a "meh" rating I just had to read it. O-kaaaay, they liked the place but only gave it 3 stars? I don't get that. Hopefully my review will begin to even things out for them. Now maybe I should write some positive reviews for all the other places I've had good experiences at. Umm, well maybe later, I'm running late now. ;-) read more

And if you have a problem with your clothes they will try to fix it. Second I like how they clean clothes, it feels nice on your skin and smells good.
