We reached out to Marc for services to get our bee situation under control at our father's house, the bees were in multiple locations and kept relocating. Mark continued to come out week after a week to assess the situation and provided extra services that took care of the bees in all locations. A huge thank you for fantastic customer service! We turned to Hilltop Pest Solutions toward the end of a long, painful process of ridding our home of rodents. Western Exterminators did some checking around and pulled once we started hearing big noises in our walls and attic. After some comparing around, I hired Green Rodent Restoration to extract whatever large creature(s) was knocking around us. They succeeded in that, though the service was not well coordinated and their communication was weak -- and they were hopeless when it became clear that one or more rats was still roaming around our house and basement. That's when I happened to get a strong recommendation for Moises Diaz of Hilltop Pest Solutions. Moses instituted a carefully thought out program of luring what turned out to be one very large, very smart trap-adverse rat to his eventual death. It took about 2 weeks, during which Moises often came to our home and I texted him each morning with a report. The fee he requested was relatively small, a real value. In the end, I gave him a hearty bonus, along with some home baked cookies. My husband and I are endlessly grateful to him and recommend Hilltop Pest Solutions at the highest possible level. I'm sorry now I didn't take a photo of the rat to post with this review! read more

My wife and I have been living in our apartment for 8 years. We don't have pets, we keep our place really clean and we have a 3 week old newborn baby. My wife started getting bites and she said these have to be fleas. I told her," there's no fleas because they're biting you and not biting me." So she started doing some investigating on our floor and DID find live fleas. I felt so bad because I didn't think there were any. So that night we killed maybe 4 or 5. The next morning I went outside to exercise and as I was resting I looked down and found maybe 9-10 fleas biting my leg. Since I was sweating a lot they were all on me from the heat from my body. So that was it. I was really annoyed. We diatomaceous earthed, baking soda, set up soap water traps, bought a light trap with a sticky pad to catch fleas and slept in the bedroom that night. I contacted our landlord about our problem saying there were fleas inside our apartment and outside. He responded with," ill contact the management company". About 4 days in my patience was wearing very thin, 4 nights in our bedroom, constantly checking legs before we enter the bedroom with flashlights, newborn stuck in the room and constantly checking if there were fleas all the time, watching tv on a laptop, making milk outside in the kitchen and coming back to the bedroom , and no contact from the landlord. That's when I hit up Hilltop from the great reviews I knew they were the one. I called and the most friendliest voices, I believe her name was Esther. Sooooooo polite and understanding of our situation. Told her about our 3 week old and how much it sucks not to hear from landlord, it was such an inconvenience. She heard me out for like 10 minutes haha. She had a appointment real soon in 2 days and we were so happy. She was also saying they can do organic in the apartment since we have a baby and do traditional outside. Appointment day was here and when I met Moises he was super personable, friendly and cracked jokes haha. He saw all the diatomaceous earth in our apartment and cracked some jokes haha. He walked around the whole entire building and perimeter. I was very cautious and asked him so many questions because of the stuff they were gonna spray. He was really honest and told me what they were gonna use. Also, I asked what's better organic or traditional in the apartment. He was saying traditional is better since it kills them, and their eggs. So we opted for traditional outside and inside. I paid and he went to work as we left for 4.5 hours. We came home and there wasn't a strong smell big we did air it out. Almost, one week later! I've seen 1 flea outside and it was on me. I would most definitely recommend Hilltop and Moises. Thank you so much for being lifesavers! read more

Hilltop Pest Solutions is the best of the best! 10 out of 10. Two thumbs up! Moises showed up, assessed the problem, gave me a very reasonable price for the work, and went straight at it the same day. He was very thorough and persistent. He didn't just plug a bunch of openings, set traps, and say "See ya later!" He kept coming back weekly until there was no sign of a rat anywhere. He was totally willing to do it old school--without poisons. He was cautious, considerate, and super smart about putting traps where my dog wouldn't set them off and possibly injure himself. The last remaining rat was totally wise to both the wood and plastic snap traps, but wasn't so smart that he/she wouldn't try to curl up under the stove on a sticky trap. The rest is history. The other major benefit was the price. He was less than half the cost of the highest bid I got, which was a massive overkill program. And he totally delivered. I am forever grateful! read more

We have been dealing with fleas from my roommate's dog for the past 5 weeks. The dogs are now gone, but the fleas are still popping up. He came by today for an inspection, and we decided to wait a few weeks to see if the fleas will resolve with our own cleaning and spraying. He was honest and straightforward, and did not pressure us into anything. Thank you Moises for taking the time out of your day to come inspect our house read more

I truly want to thank this company for existing. I have had bed bugs in the past and it was extremely traumatizing. So I had a moment of a friend reporting she had them and then noticing some bites in a row on my leg which brought back the trauma and kept me from sleeping well. When I called a couple other companies, they had limited availability and wanted to charge an arm and a leg, thankfully I called hilltop and they had some availability the next day. Thank you so much, Moises for verifying that I don't have bed bugs and for giving me tips to continue to avoid having them. I will definitely use this company if I ever have any pest issues. read more

Fast and friendly service. I needed a one time service and they came the same day would hire them again.

Moises was on time, efficient and super cool to work with. Cannot recommend enough! Haven't seen an ant since he arrived.

Moises quickly and effectively helped us with a rodent issue under our house. Very friendly and prompt/excellent communication. Hopefully we don't have more pest issues, but if so, we will ONLY deal with Hilltop! Thanks Moises! read more

Simply the best, the quickest, most productive service I have ever had! Can't get over how great the whole experience was, from the beginning to the end. Highest marks and stellar recommendations!! read more

Highly recommend HillTop Pest Solutions! We had a flea infestation and Moises was extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs. You also can't beat the price in the area as it's a fixed price for as many treatments as needed to get rid of the fleas. He's the best! read more

I was dealing with really bad ant problems and had a hard time getting rid of them. I had another pest control company out here twice and still couldn't resolve the issue. I'm so glad I called Hilltop because Moises was finally able to resolve my problem. My backyard extends out to a very sloped hillside and he even went down the hill to treat for ants, which other companies refused to do. After the first treatment, he came back out for maintenance and so far my house has been ant free. read more

Moises is the man! We were hearing creepy scratching noises in the attic space above our closet ... Moises went up there and quickly figured out that a squirrel was entering through a small space in between our roof rafters. And while he was at it, he also discovered various spots where rats were able to get into the crawl space under the house. Moises promptly patched up the holes, set traps, and then proactively followed up multiple times over the course of the next few days/weeks to make sure the problem was solved (it was). Moises is good at his job, easy to talk to, and just seems like a good guy. Highly recommend. read more

I have been covered in bug bites and some looked suspiciously like bed bug bites. I know this because of a stay in an AirBnB a few years ago where we all got bitten by bed bugs. Because they are nasty critters and take a huge amount of work to get rid of, I minorly freaked out. I emailed Hillside Pest Solutions through Yelp and got a response faster than the other pest vendors nearby. Also, their inspection is FREE! They sent someone out who did an inspection. The fellow who did the inspection was friendly and took his time looking for signs of bed bugs. Good news is that I do not have bed bugs, just end of summer mosquitoes. Although I did not need to have them fumigate or treat my place for bed bugs, I certainly would have selected them if bed bugs had been found. I appreciated their speed in getting over to me and their professionalism. read more

I used Hilltop 3 months ago to handle an ant issue at our house. They were easy to schedule, professional and super knowledgable. The overall experience was outstanding and we haven't had any ant issues since. I had a separate unrelated bug issue recently and reached out to Moises for some advice. I wrote him on yelp at 6am and he responded by 6:30am. He gave me tons of free advice and coached me through a non-issue that I was able to sort out under his direction. I will always be a repeat client for Hilltop. They are fantastic! read more

Moises saved the day! I had a pantry moth (Indian Meal Moth) infestation that would not budge. I originally got quoted by another company and rushed to clear my pantry in hopes of getting the problem kicked quick. They did not get back to me (I left voicemails, spoke with the owner and he said he'd call me back to set me up but never did) - I did not want to go through the weekend with my pantry items all over the place, so I resorted to Yelp and found Hilltop Pest Solutions. Not only did Moises respond immediately, but he also quoted a competitive price and even came the next day as requested! He didn't try to sell me any extra services (which is always a plus!) and was honest explaining why the pheromone traps weren't exactly necessary for my situation, and could potentially attract moths back in, but would still sell them to me if I really wanted them. I was completely misinformed as the previous company made them seem necessary. Quick, efficient, reliable and he guarantees his work. I cannot wait to live a normal life without these pests at every turn! Thank you, Moises! read more

I can't say enough about Hilltop Pest Solutions. I had a huge bug / cockroach problem and Hilltop was the only company to respond to me right away. Moises came out the following morning and was so friendly and professional. He accommodated our needs and made our house bug free. He even called a couple months later to check in on us. I highly recommend using their services!! You will not be disappointed. read more

We developed a mouse problem shortly after our next door neighbor tented their house. After trying traps for a few weeks with limited success, my wife and I realized we needed to bring in a professional to check our home for vulnerabilities and finally get rid of the mice. After doing a Yelp search for companies we decided upon Hilltop Pest Solutions. It was the best decision!! Moises was able to head out the same day. He was professional, enthusiastic, thorough and genuinely cared about his work. He walked us around the house to show us all of the problem areas he sealed up. Moises then set a series of traps inside...confident that it would only be a matter of time before we would be rid of our problem. And he was right! We trapped one mouse less than 30 minutes after he left and several more over the next few days. The thoroughness of Hilltop's service was evident in the follow up visit to reset the traps and the final one to remove the traps we couldn't get to under the house. I'm happy to say that we are now mouse free! We wouldn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend Moises and Hilltop Pest Solutions to anybody that may have a pest problem. read more

Moises and Hector provided top notch customer service the whole way through! I don't normally leave reviews, but my experience was exceptional. I don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes to get a response back on a question, and they came out on 3 separate occasions to treat our apartment, once day of, and twice the following day first thing in the morning. They reassured us they would be with us until they solved our problem and they followed through perfectly. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Excellent service!! This was the first summer the crickets didn't invade our property! What a relief. If you need pest control, Hilltop is the place to call. Thanks Moises! read more
