I was incredibly stressed after I started noticing a foul odor coming from the walls in my closet and hearing scratching noises up in my attic. I knew something wasn't right, and I needed help as soon as possible. From my very first call, this company went above and beyond to accommodate my urgent situation, and I am so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Our field representative, Nicolas, was absolutely outstanding. From the moment he arrived, he was incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough. He completed a detailed inspection and took the time to explain exactly how mice can get into a home, pointing out areas of concern and answering every question I had. He then walked me through their entire plan for sealing entry points and preventing the rodents from returning, making sure I understood every step of the process. What really stood out was how understanding they were about my budget. They presented the recommended service but also worked with me to find options that fit within my budget without making me feel pressured. That level of honesty, flexibility, and compassion is hard to find these days. By the end of the visit, Nic didn't feel like just another technician--he felt like a trusted family friend. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care turned what was an incredibly stressful experience into one where I felt informed, supported, and confident that my home was in good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone dealing with a rodent issue. If you're lucky enough to have Nicolas as your representative, you'll be in excellent hands. Thank you for treating us like people instead of just another customer. It truly made all the difference :) read more

Once again I could hear scratching and movement in my attic. I've been semi successful over the years laying traps but never solved the problem permanently. I'm a Yelper so I started reading reviews. I made an appointment for an inspection and met up with Nicolas. Wow ! I had no idea how many entry spots my property had. These guys went to work cleaning up my attic and sealed up my house, garage and crawl space. I really appreciate the care they took protecting my walls and floors. When they left I couldn't find a trace of the mess they cleaned in the attic.they cleaned up inside and outside my house. If you're serious about eliminating your rodent problem the right way? Rodent control will! Thank you Nicolas and all your guys! read more

I contacted Rodent Control after hearing scratching noises in the attic and discovering rats had chewed through a crawl space vent to access my attic. After a subpar experience with a national "general" pest company, I decided to look for specialists. The difference was immediate. **The Consultation** I met with Sam, who was a breath of fresh air. He performed a highly thorough inspection and, most importantly, was honest. He noted that because I caught the issue early, my insulation was still intact and didn't require a full (and expensive) replacement. His lack of "upselling" and his calm demeanor really helped ease my anxiety about the situation. Ultimately, I chose Rodent Control over a competitor because their quote was comparable, but their 2-year warranty doubled the industry standard and felt far more at ease with Sam. **The Service Day** The crew arrived exactly on time, and Sam was there personally to brief them and ensure the plan was executed perfectly. Their thoroughness was impressive: **Exclusion Work:** They didn't just patch holes; they reinforced every sewer vent, attic spinner, and chimney. At ground level, they installed new crawl space entry screens and even added concrete footings to prevent rodents from tunneling underneath. **Interior & Attic:** They added double-mesh layers to all crawl space vents, attic gable vents, vacuumed the attic, and sealed wire/cable entry points with concrete. **Sanitization:** They used a hospital-grade disinfectant fogger throughout the attic and crawl space and excluded the AC condenser lines before setting traps in the attic and crawl space. **The Results** It has been six weeks since the service. While my wife and I have become "hyper-sensitive" to every house noise (like heat expansion pops), our Blink cameras which we set up in the attic and weekly trap checks by the Rodent Control team have eased our minds that the issue appears to have been resolved. It appears any remaining rodents exited during the work and haven't been able to get back in. Sam is the most responsive person I have worked with. He responded to every text, addressed my concerns and continued to put me at ease, that alone is worth the price. Knowing I have 22 months of warranty left provides huge peace of mind. If you want a company that is technical, thorough, and honest, ask for Sam at Rodent Control. **Highly recommended.** read more

Absolutely the best choice for a complicated problem. Sam was straight forward and I felt that he gave an honest assessment of the problem. There were so many entries in my old 1913 wooden house that needed to be closed and blocked from rodents. Work was professionally done with different materials. Had lower bids but felt this was the right company for the problem. read more

We had been hearing sounds coming from the attic for a couple of days, and my landlord sent Sam over for an inspection, great profissional, located possible entries around the house, easy explanation about the process, a day later his team showed up and spent the day sealing everything, setting up the traps, Sam was great answering our texts during the process and checking out on us too. Would totally recommend Rodent Control for anyone that is having pest problems! Celia Snowdon Hermosa Beach read more

Updated: I contacted through Yelp asking for help with humane removal of a rat from my kitchen. After a few texts and missed calls, I was advised they do not do removal and must come do a home inspection for exclusion. This feels like a bait and switch. When I shared as much, Michelle told me to call an exterminator. Waste of time. The owner called shortly after I posted the review stating his staff should have handled the call differently and he would work with them to do so in the future. When I shared it was frustrating for them to advertise "removal" when that isn't really part of their service, he went on to share that he has been in business for 27 years and one negative review is depriving his family of food. He talked over me repeatedly and was not appeased by my promise to reconsider my initial review. I finally had to hang up. So, as promised, I'm updating my review. I cannot comment on the service they actually deliver. The front-facing interaction was beyond disappointing when I'm already dealing with a stressful situation. Per owner's reply: I am not a competitor, just someone with a rat in her kitchen who spent the day trying to find a remedy for the situation and received conflicting info then was treated rudely. Their website clearly states "rodent removal". If this isn't part of your service, perhaps amend your website to avoid future confusion. read more

Honestly the rodent issue was traumatic. I couldn't sleep for weeks. I went to Home Depot and purchased supplies trying to resolve the issue on my own. It didn't work and I was losing my mind. I found this company online and called them in the early morning. They put me on the schedule right away. The first appointment included them fully assessing the situation and advising us of the best plan of action. They educated us and began construction to fortify my home. They also cleared the crawl space, this removed any debris from the rodents and any hiding places as well. I had never seen the traps they used, but I assure you they work. The first night they setup traps I heard 3 get caught in traps. They come everyday the first week, so they immediately cleared the traps and replaced them. The first week was stressful because I heard them getting caught, but I prefer that over hearing noise in my walls that has me questioning my sanity. The rates are more than fair for what they offer. Thank you! Thank you! read more

Sam and Oscar were really easy to work with and did a great job! Communication was easy and seamless.

Based on my personal experience with this company I'll not recommend them to anyone. I hired them in February 2026 paid $4,000. It's almost July 2026 still haven't caught any rats. They missed a huge whole on my roof (I'll include pic) that I had to tell them to fix! I have sewer rats that are coming through a sewer line. I told them that before I hired them. The rep Nicolas Baker (if you decide to hire them I'll not recommend him as your rep) assure me that they will take care of the problem and it was not sewer rats. He didn't listen! He always has to check with other people he doesn't return phone calls on time. There is another guy Sam (possibly a manager) that also came to look but nothing changed. Oscar is the guy that comes to check the traps he is nice but he can only do so much. The owner of the company called me twice and keeps saying he wants to help me but words don't fix problems. Based on their suggestion I hired Leak Detection company called Curmax Leak Detection the owner Brent Patchis came and charge me $500 to perform a smoke test on the vent and drain system. Based on his findings, he suggested to lift both toilets and/or add extra wax ring to create a complete seal. I paid $350 to do that and my issue is still unresolved. Now they said to hire another plumber. He quoted me $1,200 to perform another smoke test and possibly break the walls or floor to find where they are coming in that's without repairs (extra $200-$5000). I asked them to help me cover the costs of the repairs. I'm a single mom on my own without any help! I appreciate and respect man and I understand that's how they handle their business. My wish is for them to make it right and for people to know who they are and choose to move accordingly. read more

What do you do when you realize you are sharing your home with four legged creatures that have very long tails? Disgusting! If you are me you start with Google, and do your research. After a Google search, and a review of Yelp, I thought "why not"? Called the office, Stacy answered and was very sympathetic, and said she would have someone scheduled ASAP. Got lucky and Sam was scheduled, who showed up on time, did a thorough inspection of my home, all the while explaining what he was looking for and why. Was impressed with my interactions so far, I signed up for the service right then and there. The day the crew came out I was amazed at the number of people and how they went through my ENTIRE home with a fine tooth comb, they were in the house, in the attic, under the house, on top of the house, they literally left no stone unturned. AMAZING. So just over a year passes, and I am worried I may have a problem, call the office, Sam calls me back, we talk about perhaps I am out of warranty, he quickly assures me that he and Stacy have spoken and "they have my back". Thank goodness. Within the week Oscar was out, did another thorough investigation, didn't find anything - fabulous, clearly my imagination was in overdrive. You may find someone cheaper with big promises, as with everything there is alway someone that says they can do better, would bet they do not. Two weeks after the initial preventative service, a technician named Oscar Cortez came by this morning for a follow-up inspection. He carefully checked every corner of the house, including the attic and the crawl space. During the inspection, he found a dead rat and treated the area with a pheromone-based product to help prevent future pest activity. He also discovered a four-inch-wide open pipe sticking out of the ground under the house. He took a photo and sent it to me so I can show it to a plumber and have it repaired. For some other businesses, that kind of gesture could fall outside their scope, and they may not mention it at all. But Rodent Control cares about their customers. Nice job! read more

Review # 400: Excellent service and true professionals! Sam was friendly and super easy to work with, and made the process very simple. Excellent communication with text, photos, and email. Oscar Cortez - Rodent Control technician is a genius - he is the only one who spotted a leaking, cracked galvanized pipe in the sub-basement. Additionally, although pricey, Rodent Control has thoroughly repaired the vent sceens on the house and also made the garage rat proof as well. read more

Out of 3 companies I picked Rodent Control due to them actually being interested in solving my infestation issue. Nic the PM and his crew showed up on time and spent the day completing their work. I'm a new homeowner and when I saw rats inside my HVAC and heard them inside my walls, I was beside myself. Sam was quick to come out and give a free detailed estimate and show the details of what everything entailed. Their team spent the day sealing up all the areas, and walking me through where they sealed everything and what to look out for in the future. They cleaned up everything and sent detailed pictures of the work in the attic where they were living. When I had questions after, Sam was quick to answer. Amazing service! The team cleaned and sanitized our entire basement where we had the major rodent issue and secured any access points the rats had into our house. I seriously can't recommend these rodent control guys enough. I had a really bad infestation and after dealing with other companies that either didn't fix it or couldn't fully get rid of the problem, these guys finally did. They were super thorough, explained everything clearly, and actually took the time to find the source of the issue instead of just doing a quick patch job. They were also really responsive the entire time and kept me updated with videos/photos, which I appreciated because it made it easy to see exactly what was happening and what they were doing. Since they came out, the problem has been completely gone and they made sure the rodents didn't come back. If you're dealing with anything serious and want it handled properly the first time, go with them. read more

Sam and his colleagues are great. Especially Oscar! We moved into our house with a rodent problem that persisted even after the original owners tried to have an exterminator come. We would hear scratching in the roof and it affected our quality of life. Sam came right in and found all the holes not only in the attic but the roof and the crawl space. He and his guys patched up all the holes and have been really great with the follow up. They caught two rats and we haven't heard any activity since. It really has made our quality of life better and Sam is really responsive to text (much better than our previous exterminator). There is a 1 year warranty and his team encourages you to continue to use it and have them come out and are true to their word about ensuring that your house stays rodent free. Would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks Rodent Control! read more

Went out on yelp and searched for a exterminator. In minutes I got 4 companies responding. Rodent control was the second company that responded. I set up an appointment for the next day. Sam came out and looked around inside and outside. He let me know what they would do. We agreed on a price. The crew came out the next day. They were very prompt. Hey thoroughly cleaned the attic and crawlspace, set traps and cleaned up. The job is guaranteed for two years, so if I have any problems during that time, I can call them. They'll be back every week until, hopefully, there will be no activity. They'll job is not cheap, but it was necessary. I feel confident they did a great job. Thank you! read more

The best. Super professional and Sam is awesome. Came with crew of 8 guys and removed insulation and eradicated the area in one day.

We had an excellent experience working with Rodent Control. We had a rat in our crawl space that was keeping us up at night. We called several companies, and Rodent Control was one of the first to call, but more importantly, they fit me into their schedule the same day to come and take a look. Sam was knowledgable and courteous and walked me through exactly what they can do to help. While not part of the scope of the initial visit, he set a couple of traps, then came back with his team two days later (on a Sunday) to work on our house. And the rat in the crawl space had been caught! They sealed up the house and will be back in a few days to check on all the traps - they did great work, and I would definitely recommend them! read more

Had two follow-ups and Oscar was excellent checking out all the sealed areas and going into the crawlspaces and spraying it down to keep things sanitary and safe. Sam was easy to work with. He and his team worked hard, took out the rats nest, took out the insulation and left the attic and under the house very clean. Rodent control sanitized and put antibacterial solution on. It was amazing to see the amount of rats removed and the size of them. Rodent Control takes photos and videos and sends them to you. I picked Rodent Control after talking to four other companies because I felt I was in good hands with Sam: He was super attentive to the needs of our house and his team was very efficient and thorough. Hats off to Oscar who spent hours sleuthing out one rodent that had managed to slip through a part of our house we'd entirely ignored. Rodent Control came out last summer to seal up our home. We're still under warranty so called them back when we spotted a critter in our garage. Oscar Cortes came out the next morning and did a great job inspecting, resealing and setting new traps. Great communicator, texted and called. I knew exactly when he was going to show up. Walked me through the whole thing. Very honest and upfront. Great experience. Day of, the team shows up and they get to it. Secured every single opening possible, even stuff on the roof. Our apartment is like Fort Knox now. Nothing is getting in.
