Great bar and hangout location in downtown Tucson great music, friendly staff amazing drinks had an amazing time on St. Patrick's Day with family and friends. The music was beating and the drinks were flowing. Enjoy coming to hang out here. It's always a blast. Perfect place for a group of friends always plenty of room in the courtyard. With the variety of music being played, it's great for all to enjoy from old school to new school..

Some of the Can products they have.

Jacob and Ari are amazing! I work in the Industry so I hate coming downtown on the weekend on my day off. But when I choose to go anywhere during the week, I always go see Jacob. on the weekends I always see Ari. Great choice of whiskey and craft cocktails.

This place is always a good time! They have some Of the most iconic spoon shots in Tucson that are so smooth and delicious! I recently learned they offer a food menu too which had many tasty items! I loved the steak and arugula sliders and fries. The music and vibe are always on point and staff is helpful and friendly! If you've never been, I recommend going for dinner and staying after for some dancing and drinks!

Highwire is a bit tucked away compared to other businesses close by. My wife and I stopped to have a drink on Friday around 8 pm and came back the following Sunday with our son and my mom for brunch. I liked that they played live music during our time on Friday. We also enjoyed our brunch. We had the chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and the rum banana brulee. I recommend placing a garnish or decorating the plate with some sauce (notice the picture). I loved the rum banana brulee, and the chicken and waffles were a hit! I think there is a lot of potential for Highwire, and with some slight adjustments could make for a more inviting and engaging experience for the customers. When one walks into Highwire for the first time, there are multiple openings. I wasn't sure which way to go and some bald employed grunts "this is closed" it looked open to me as others were sitting around (perhaps they were staff). Instead of that experience, have a host in the open outside area welcome people. The same goes for brunch. Our waitress was friendly, but it seemed the music playing was more for them than for the other table, who were also middle-aged adults who also would likely prefer to listen to something other than loud rap music on Sunday morning. Just a guess. Some more pleasantries, decorum, and beautification of the patio would go a long way to take Highwire to the next level. This is under the assumption that they would like adult professionals to frequent and come back.

Got a cotton candy champagne tower for brunch. What a great take on a mimosa! Thank you to alexis and jordan for exceptional service!

Highwire serves food now! I finally got to check out the food since the remodel and I have to say I was pretty satisfied with my experience. Some friends and I had some food and drinks at the bar on a Sunday Funday that was much needed. Our waitress name was Brandy and she was amazing I have to say. Ordered the chicken and waffles and tried the mushroom bruschetta which was absolutely to die for! Also had a nice drink that the bartender Silvia made called the PB&jealousy. I liked that the bartender was attentive and was welcome to feedback. Will definitely be back for more food and can't wait to see what else is in store for the future of highwire.

I frequent here often and am very pleased with the how far it has come! Love the new drinks and food. Our service was good but can be better! Javier was around to make sure everything ran smooth. Drinks were amazing as always!

    a rude women.

I was patiently waiting to get a drink at the bar , and apparently I was standing in a "no standing zone" that I wasn't aware of. This lady in the photo below aggressively grabs my wrist and pulls me back and slams the gate in my face. I was honestly so shocked. she could have politely , and verbally asked me to move aside and that I couldn't stand here. I was appalled she physically grabbed me that way without saying a word to me. I honestly didn't even know what was going on because she was so quick to physically grab me. This is not okay and I hope management talks too this lady.

Ask the Community - Highwire Tucson

Hi, I'll be in town Saturday to celebrate my 41st birthday with friends from when I was at the U of AZ. Do I need reservations? Can we be dressed up or is this low key vibe? How late do you serve food? Is there music/DJ? Thanks in advance.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Burk, the handsome man with a shiny head, was at the bar. He handed us a drink menu that contained fun drink names like Death of a Unicorn. The drinks tasted good and had a lovely presentation. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. You could always book a room and enjoy dreams downstairs without having to drive

The one who served us was very nice and even made a drink recipe I came up with. Unfortunately, their bar is not well stocked so had to make a LOT of adjustments to my recipe. But appreciated his suggestions and effort. Now for the bad stuff. They have a jazz club attached. I figured the whole place would have that ambience but was disappointed that wasn't the case. Generic pop on the patio and inside is very noisy. The preferred dress of patrons appears to be gym shorts and t-shirts. Drinks were a little weak so I switched over to bourbon on the rocks. But the prices are reasonable. Maybe a nice pre show stop if you're going to the Century room.
