I've recieved a pair of trial contacts from them, which the optometrist told me I could switch to another brand within a week if I did not like them. Well I did not like the contacts, so I followed their protocol to get another pair of contacts. When I did this their office told me I had to have another exam/fitting to get another trail pair of contacts. This is the strangest setup I have ever seen or been a part of. I have been wearing contacts for 20 years and I have never had to get another exam/fitting when requesting to try another pair of contacts. decided on this place since i moved and it was close. and covered by my insurance. decided to go w/ dr. schneebeck for my exam. definitely the MOST extensive and thorough exam i have ever had. granted she had an intern so probably had to cover a lot of ground, but nonetheless great exam. staff is ultra friendly and informative. i have medical background and know when someone is BSing me. they admit when they dont know something but are knowledgeable about what they are talking about. have had allergy problems with my eyes. no optometrist has ever been able to solve my problem. but dr schneebeck did. all a matter of solution i was using. that simple. but goes to show she knows what shes talking about. no issues with insurance and in the end great price for the awesome exam, retinal photos, and years supply on contact lenses. great place to get an eye exam, friendly staff, convenient location. read more

My family has been going to Highline Vision Center for several years. My husband starting seeing Dr. Schneebeck probably 10 years go. I started going after I got out of the military. When our two nephews came to live with us, they went to Highline for exams as well. I have always been seen on time and my eye exam is always very thorough. I have ordered both progressive lenses and contacts and have been very pleased with their fit and the improvement in my vision. I have two small complaints: glasses purchased at Highline are very pricey as compared to other places you could go. Also, they can be a little pushy with their services. I'm not a fan of everyone turning into a salesperson lately. read more

Great office they offer a free eye exam for children up to a year, which I think is cool and proactive. Recently scheduled an appointment and they were so booked up that I was looking at 2-3 weeks out, but they informed me of last minute cancels and I got in the next day. While I was shopping for glasses this was by far the best! I went to about 7 different vision centers and this one had a home like feel, a great selection of glasses, and the best part was the friendly and helpful staff that was happy to be there. The person that helped me, quickly picked out what I told her I liked (me having very picky taste), and she found me great frames! I would recommend this center to anyone. read more

As a former multi-year customer of Highline I feel qualified to review them. I no longer go there for two reasons - #1, I got tired of waiting for an hour or more for my appointment to actually begin (hint - go early in the day, they don't have as much time to get behind). #2, I have had to return repeatedly since the glasses they had made for me were often incorrect (wrong prescription, missing options, etc). I haven't regretted going elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service! Also, the lady who helped with me eye exam had no idea what she was doing. She got my prescription wrong the first time. They refused to do anything about it and after I kept complaining they said they would give a new exam. It turn out they typed my prescription wrong in the computer! I wish I read these reviews before I went here - the service was exactly as described by others - long wait - receptionist acted as if she was doing me a favor - there are many places to get eyeglasses in Aurora so I will no longer be going here - it is a shame because the eye doctor was great. I have been going here for several years and I think the doctors are top notch. The one complaint I have is they charge an exorbitant amount for contacts and glasses. I was recently quoted a price of $300 for 4 boxes of contact lens. I can get the same contact lens at Costco for $160. So if you get an exam here, get your prescription and buy you contacts or glasses elsewhere. read more

I just visited this office for the first time this week, although my husband has been twice. I loved them! Not only do they have the most state of the art equipment for a true diagnostic look at my eyes, They did not push the tests on me like other offices have done. I knew in advance I was going to do them but I did not share that with them. i wa greeted by the sweetest smile ever by Karen at the front desk and then right away by Amity who performed all of the initial testing on me. She was so efficient and sweet that it was a pleasure to work with her. I then waited about 30 seconds after Amilty completed the tests and left to get Dr. Doyle before he entered the room. When does that every happen? They have such respect for people's time. Dr. Doyle was extremely knowledgeable and had a great demeanor and sense of humor. We spoke about 10 minutes about how I work, what I do and what effect each has on my eyesigh. He did an additional set of tests and examined my eyes with a microscope and then studies the giant photos of my eyes on his PC from the tests I took. Thank God, all was great! Better safe than sorry for $45.00 extra dollars a year! I will always have these tests. What is more important than your eyesight? I then went to look at glasses with a really nice guy. I was looking for a very specific style similar to what I already wear and could not find anything although they had hundreds of beautiful styles. I am sure you will not have an issues finding your style. They have ordered a few samples to come in for me and I will go back next week to see them. That is also 5 Starr service!!!. Great with kids! I am an Optometrist myself but do not regularly do children's eye exams at my office. When my 7 year old daughter had difficulty on her school vision screening I felt she needed a thorough exam with an office that specializes in children's vision. Dr. Doyle did an amazing job keeping her engaged and excited throughout the entire exam and was able to get an accurate exam that I could not have done myself. Conventiently located and lots of parking. Staff is very friendly, they have a good selection of frames for kids and adults and exams seem thorough but they take forever. Between waiting to be seen and being examined plan a good 2 1/2 hours, an appoinment there cannot be squeezed in after work, you have to take at least half a day off work. Usually one doesn't have to go more often than once a year so I guess, that's not too bad. read more

This is a great office. The staff and doctors were excellent, friendly, helpful and willing to answer all my questions. This was my second visit and I will continue to go there for my optical needs. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is their lack of designer frames for men. I know having the options of Prada, Lacoste, or D&G aren't for everyone so I don't see this as a real big negative. Also, I was able to get some good looking glasses that don't have the name but still look great so overall I'm pretty pleased with my visit. read more

I have been going to Highline Vision Center for 28 years--since my son was in 2nd grade and not reading. They corrected vision problems for him through vision therapy and glasses, and he was reading at 3rd grade level within a few months. Amazing people, VERY thorough exam--they will take whatever time and patience it takes to select a frame--I always take an inordinate amount of time to select a frame.
