    Crazy noodles

I've been passing by High Thai'd for over a year and finally got to try it yesterday. They currently are only doing take out (no dine in). Our food came out very quickly, within 10-15 minutes of us ordering. However, it was nothing to write home about. The basil fried rice was mostly just rice (not a lot of toppings). It had two spice signs next to it but was barely spicy. The crazy noodles had a good amount of vegetables and the chicken was moist, but the noodles were clumpy and not super flavorful. Overall, the food was decent and not too expensive, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Delicious Country Pad Thai with the perfect amount of spice. Hands down the best Thai in Cleveland.

Although i do appreciate a punny restaurant name, the pad thai here is super average. I live close by so decided to get takeout. My roommate got the regular pad thai and I got the country pad thai, which is a little bit more spicy and flavorful. I would definitely opt for the country version- the normal version looks like it has no sauce on it. I have never in my life seen a pad thai so pale. I still think I prefer the Country Pad Thai from Tree Country Inn next door. I posted a picture of the two types of pad thai side by side for comparison!

High Thai'd has been my go to Thai restaurant for the past five years. My friends and I would go a couple times every month every time we needed a break from dorm food. Our go to family style order was tofu triangles, pa nang curry with tofu, crazy noodles, and basil fried rice with tofu. The tofu at high Thai'd is much better than the meat options. It is crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth soft on the inside. The pa nang curry is one of my favorites. They add a variety of veggies like green beans, eggplant, etc that takes it to a new level that I haven't had at other Thai restaurants. It also pairs great with the basil fried rice. Another plus is the Thai tea and boba they have available. It's a great addition to help balance out a spicy meal. Overall, I love high Thai'd and always bring my family here when they are in town and it has always been a bit!

Massaman curry is the exact same I got from Tree Country yesterday- exact same crinkle cut carrots, onion slices, and flavor- except has sweet potato chunks instead of pineapple and was like $5 cheaper.

Really wanted Thai food and came here b/c several others were closed for Labor Day. Food was plentiful and hot. But no one was hardly in the restaurant and had to wait like 15-20 min for a seat. Ordered Spring Rolls and very bread no shrimp in them (despite the description). Had the Pad Thai and again very stingy on mediocre shrimp. Also the pad Thai was sweet?? Probably will not come back but you might enjoy it if you haven't experience authentic Thai food. Server was nice.

Friends and I stopped by this restaurant Saturday evening and it was surprisingly empty considering how delicious the food was. I did notice that they had a lot of takeout orders which makes me think the weather was keeping everyone away! They have more tables in the back which is where we all sat. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the price point was reasonable considering how much food you get. My lemon drop martini was a little sweeter than what I'm used to but still quite good (it was also $5.50 aka a DEAL). The Green Curry was GREAT! I am a wimp with spice so I thought my dish was a bit spicy, however, the friends I was with mentioned their dishes weren't spicy enough. I definitely will be returning!

Country Pad Thai with 7/7 spiciness. My go-to dish. Not very spicy in my opinion.

I love coming to High Thai'd. The staff is always pleasant and in good spirits. The first time I came here, there was a power outage on Coventry, so my friend and I ate by phone light while laughing with the staff. The calmness of the restaurant is almost meditative. As a student, I love to come here during an exam week when I don't have time to cook. I can sit here, eat my pad thai, and decompress my mind in this cozy little establishment on Coventry. My favorite dish is the Country Pad Thai and I always get it 7/7 on the spicy scale because I don't consider it to be very spicy (you won't be crying or anything). Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get and it is always brought out quickly. Definitely come here if you want some thai food that is affordable, will fill you up, and served quickly.

The country pad Thai was decent. I liked that it came with chicken and shrimp. About average in terms of taste. They are doing take out only.

Ordered take-out for dinner from here a few days ago. Food did not take long and was ready when we got there to pick it up! We ordered a country style pad thai, basil fried rice with tofu, and thai iced tea. Pad thai was great and the basil fried rice was yummy with a little spice! Thai iced tea was sweet and great as well! I definitely want to try different dishes in the future :)

This is the worst Thai food experience I've ever had!! I placed an order one hour before closing and was told 15 mins and to hurry since they were closing so maybe that's why the quality is horrible but that shouldn't matter!! They should want business until at least 15 mins til closing since they are carry out only and they should slack on quality regardless of what time an order is placed!! Everything is extremely over cooked!! The noodles stick together in both dishes, they're dry and lack flavor! The fried rice is burnt, with every bite I taste the burnt char! I'm upset that I drove all the way home and this is what the food is like! Would not recommend!

Left: crazy noodles. Right: chicken fries rice!!!

First of all, the place is beautiful. You will want to stand and stare a minute when you first arrive, from the cherry blossoms overhead to the gorgeous art painted on the walls. We were welcomed immediately and seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, again this was no small task with a bit group at a very busy time. She made great recommendations and we started with several appetizers for the table: Crab rangoon Mozzarella stick, Goyza, and crunchy rice with avocado. They were all good and cooked to perfection, but the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella sticks were show stoppers. This is fun fusion at its finest, and everyone agreed we could have just lived on those. We had to put in sushi orders early as there was a bit of a backup with the kitchen, but our server did a great job of keeping us informed about the timing and made all the entrees work out so people getting hot dishes got them at the same time as people who ordered cold dishes. I had the sora roll which is another great fashion dish with a simple tempura shrimp and avocado roll upscaled by adding thin slices of wagyu beef, spicy mayo and dark sweet soy. I loved the combo. My wife had the peking duck and said it was fantastic with a good bit of flavor and a hint of kick, cooked to perfection so it didn't get dry. My son had the mushroom risotto which he said was very flavorful, and carried a bit of asian spiciness. Other people at the table had sushi, the katsu chicken, and the crab fried rice. No one was disappointed! Finally my wife and I split the smoked creme brûlée and all I can say is, you should save room for dessert because this was a fantastic spin on a classic! The only thing I would note is that it's not a quiet restaurant. Do not expect to have a hushed or private conversation here, but even with the big group I could still hear everyone, so it's not like it's ear splitting or anything. Honestly, every part of this experience impressed me and I would love to go back next time I'm in town.

We returned for dinner this time and we're really glad we did. If you head to Lee Rd in Cleveland Hts you will find several very good establishments south of Cedar Rd. But if you go a few blocks north of Cedar you will come upon a cute little stainless steel diner right out of the 1950's. You have arrived at "Abundance Culinary". Modern Chinese concept curated by Executive Chef Liu Fang. Upon entering we were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman who immediately seated us at a comfortable table in the center of the restaurant where we were quickly greeted by Nathaniel, a marvelous young man with a ready smile and quick whit. He introduced himself, filled our water and introduced their sommelier. A pleasant woman with a friendly demeanor. She explained the evenings offerings without appearing condescending. Her suggestions were spot on. The staff worked together all evening like a fine tuned machine. At any moment someone would suddenly appear at our table to satisfy our every desire. Our meal started with the "Dumplings Variety Sampler" which gave us 2 of each of the available 4 different dumplings. They were an excellent start... flavorful, with just a touch of spice yet not too filling. I followed that with the "Lamb Shank" perfectly prepared and loaded with flavors. My wife & brother had the "Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef" which they said was excellent. My sister in law had the "Dan Dan Noodles" which was full of flavor but a little too spicy for her taste. We followed our meal with an excellent cup of coffee and the "Chinese Cobbler". It was a marvelous evening with exceptional service and wonderful food. We will definitely return and you should do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

Been to this locations many times in undergrad and stopped by recently on the way to the library nearby. Over the years, they have made their regular bowl size smaller, introduced a smaller bowl, then also changed the size of that. It seems now that the small and regular bowl is almost minimal difference in terms of what they are scooping, so if you already know the bowl is a lot for you, the smaller bowl may be more worth your money. For base, my go-to is mix of noodles and purple rice. Their noodles are made of sweet potato starch, so my base also happens to be a good gluten-free option. For hot toppings (black beans, curry chickpeas, bean sprouts, potatoes, and broccoli), you can ask for a total of 4, where "extra" of anything counts as 2 of that. So I get extra beans and extra potatoes, which counts as 4. My favorite 2 meats are their steak and korean BBQ. Well flavored, but again, on the saltier side. For cold toppings, they said they didn't have any carrots and I didn't inquire further if I had to wait for that or not, but that may have been due to me coming at opening. So you may be expected to wait if ordering at opening hour. Otherwise, the front staff were nice. It's pretty empty at opening for dining in. Side street parking there is difficult to get, but there is a lot behind it that is free for 30min (turn into E 115th to get there).

Both times my experience was pretty wonderful. Came here for dinner on Mother's Day because Lao Szechuan was a 45-min wait. Welp, my 7-yr old's simple sushi order took 45min to get so on second thought, we definitely should've just waited! My BF ordered a coconut Thai soup and it was $9 for a half filled tiny bowl with only a few pieces of mushroom and bits of tofu. He liked it but was put off by the tiny amount, lack of veggies and high price. I ordered the Dragon noodle which came with the chef's recommendation. The amount of noodles in the bowl was a joke. And they took the cheap route by using rice noodles instead of wheat, egg or anything else. The spare ribs were a bit overcooked and dry but at least not bland. I wouldn't pair it with broccoli--bak choy, mushrooms, woodear, bamboo would've been so much better. And Asian. The worst part about the visit is that our server never updated us on where the sushi went. I had to ask a different server who told us the sushi orders were lost. Okay...still no apology or acknowledgement of where the dish went after ordering it 40+ min ago. When it finally came, the other server brought it out and our server said nothing about it. My poor daughter was so hungry and watching us eat our dishes. I gave her a big portion of my meal so she could enjoy dinner as well. The place cleared out and emptied completely as we were still trying to enjoy the sushi that just came out. No apology, no offers of comped meal or discount...I even had to ask for chopsticks and water refills and the check and a takeout container. The value is just nil here and the quality has gone down since first visiting here in 2022. Service is bad and their shades don't even go down so the sun was obnoxiously in our face the entire time.
