He could have just as easily said they were booked or couldn't accommodate a reservation a couple days out when they normally have months notice but Justin didn't hesitate to pull every string in the book to make it happen. His coordinator Alisha was so sweet, responsive and helpful as well. The icing on the cake was the quality of the food and service, not the mention their burgers. Holy moly, so good! Additionally, on the wedding day we hired him to have the bar open when people arrived, at 2pm but he didn't show up to my house to pick up the alcohol until a little before 2pm. I was late to my own wedding because I had to stay and lock the house up. I talked to Michael many times throughout this process and he continually made promises he couldn't keep and proved to be very unreliable. The bartenders at the wedding were also very inexperienced and rude. I really regret hiring Michael and garnish with a smile, it was the main source of frustration leading up to our big day. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The guy even saved up all the days champagne corks for me (I'd mentioned I needed them for a project) and brought them to me before closing up shop. I loved the handiness of the truck, with it's bar that opens folds down from one side and the beer taps on the wall coming from kegs inside. They also had a decent selection of wine and bubbles. They have the usual 10 by 10 tent, interesting signs and very pleasant staff. On a whim I bought one of their "Not " Cornish meat pies frozen to heat up later. Fabulous! The pocket dinner heated up with no fuss and no mess exactly the way I was told it would. The model for this meal in a pastry pocket is the noon meal that the miners of Cornwall carried from home in their pockets and ate cold for lunch. It had to hold up to the miners' work and still be edible after being out of the fire for many hours. The theme of Second Breakfast is that of the always hungry Hobbit. Hence the name. I think the meat pastry with slow cooked beef, potatoes, turnips and herbs is very well made and flavorful. It reminded me of the stew that my father used to make. It was that good.
