Enjoyed our wine tasting before heading next door to Oakshire Brewing. Bought a couple of reds and white wine.

Went with a friend who is a wine club member to the wine club pick up event last Sunday. I had…read morealways been meaning to go to this winery, but never did until now. I sure missed out on a lot. Their event was made extra special by the staff, as they were all knowledgeable and well-versed in the food and wine pairings that were offered at this event. I was particularly impressed as to how they were keeping the bottles of white wine cold by using ice that they had frozen flowers in. It was a beautiful presentation. There was a brick oven pizza set up and the pizzas were delicious. I am not sure if they are there all the time or because this was a special event. The wines are on point with each presentation and the outside area is spectacular. The inside area can hold a lot of people, especially on rainy days and very nicely decorated with lots of large windows. I can hardly wait to go back there again when all of the roses around the outside patio area are in Bloom! I will be bringing my small senior dog next time I visit their winery as they are dog friendly.

Very cute place with tons of windows and access to the outside. It was cool and rainy the day we…read morewent but you could tell that on a sunny day it would be incredible. We went on a Sunday and did not have reservations and our group of 4 were able to be seated right away. Two of us did the red flight and one did the white while our driver sipped a coke. We had the Mediterranean plate and I would not recommend it, however the pickled asparagus and onions were delicious. Rest felt like it was left over from many days before. Wine was tasty and interesting to try a Chardonnay from the region. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. Coolest part was seeing all the other tables bringing in their own boards and snacks. What a beautiful place to taste or have a glass of wine with your own assortment of goodies. Staff did a nice job explaining the wines and what made them unique with grapes from the region. Truth be told the name of the winery is what sold us on checking it out.

This winery on the edge of West Eugene is lovely and spacious, a really good place for meetings (in…read morethis case, a book discussion group). Out front it looks like a drab warehouse, but when you go around back, the patio is nice, and the interior is beautiful. There's a variety of wine, and the winery owner offers free samples before you buy a glass (or bottle). Otherwise, there's a chocolate menu. I'd get drunk if I drank a glass of wine on an empty stomach, but the event organizer brought lots of snacks (and there was a sort of buffet table in the back corner for that). Lots of seating and tables.

No real food available beyond cheese and chocolate, and we were hungry. We finished our wine and decided to ride together to get a proper dinner after our tasting. I left my car in the lot by the winery.... We return later, about 6 p.m. to find the lot all locked up, my car inside. No phone number, no way to get it out. NO SIGNS ANYWHERE. I am from out of town, and after several minutes of angry panic, realized I had no choice. I had to get a hotel; and dinner; and an Uber; and breakfast; and another Uber. I both called the business (and left a very nice voicemail), and sent two messages on FB Instant Messenger. Neither was returned by 9 am next day - so I called u. Someone answered, and said yeah, the lot was now open, I could get my car. BUT, NO ONE CALLED ME BACK, and the IM just said "Yeah, we lock up our lot, sorry this happened to you, hope you'll be back." I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK. That was an inadequate apology at best. I missed work, had to pay out a ton of cash, and was overall WAY inconvenienced because YOU HAVE NO NOTICES TO THE PUBLIC THAT YOU DO THIS.
