He could have just as easily said they were booked or couldn't accommodate a reservation a couple days out when they normally have months notice but Justin didn't hesitate to pull every string in the book to make it happen. I talked to Michael many times throughout this process and he continually made promises he couldn't keep and proved to be very unreliable. The bartenders at the wedding were also very inexperienced and rude. I really regret hiring Michael and garnish with a smile, it was the main source of frustration leading up to our big day. Mark has developed a beautiful and sophisticated menu and every single one of my guests were blown away. I went through several other food tests and none were as responsive or had as fantastic of a product. And this is coming from a very picky eater who has been incredibly spoiled due to living in Italy and being raised by fantastic cooks. Kari is incredibly helpful and put up with my husband and my constant indecision and was super responsive, which took a HUGE load off my plate in a very stressful period. I recently attended a wedding catered by Abbott Catering, and the experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. The level of professionalism, service, and attention to detail was far below expectations. The dinner service was delayed by 1.5 hours, and when it finally arrived, the plating and presentation were amateurish. The food was cold, and several tables were not served at all. The menu items were inaccurately described; the braised short rib was actually a pot roast, and the miso, blackberry glazed cod was overcooked whitefish without the promised glaze. Additionally, the salad service was inadequate, with only one medium bowl for a table of 16. When I addressed these issues with the caterer, he was not present to resolve the problems and instead blamed external factors. The dessert service, which was supposed to include two frosted cheesecakes cut on site, lacked any frosting. The coffee service was minimal, with only two carafes and no creamer or sugar available. Furthermore, the appetizers, which were meant to be hand-passed, were simply placed on a table without napkins or plates. I strongly advise against using Abbott Catering for any event. They failed to deliver on half of the contract's promises, and the most disappointing aspect was the lack of service, quality, and accountability for the subpar product.

B) Was absent from the wedding venue for a majority of the evening. Every time someone sought him out, he was apparently offsite to retrieve necessary items and would return empty-handed. C) Did not come appropriately staffed & required other vendors to step in & assist with service. Without their assistance, dinner service would not have occurred.
