We completely lucked out with Jayme and Russ. From the beginning, we were awed by their portfolio. Their photography captures its occupants in their natural state, where the emotions and expressions are both pure and raw - which is what we were looking for. They know how to artfully position themselves to capture the best angles for their work. After reaching out to them, the second perk we discovered is that they are a husband and wife team who can work together and capture the same moments from different angles. Their skills individually are exceptional and we were ecstatic to get have two high-caliber photographers for our day. We primarily communicated via email/phone and had all the details worked out prior to the wedding. Once the big day arrived, Jayme and Russ knew the schedule but were still great just going with the flow. I took about an hour longer getting ready than we expected - oh well :) Throughout the day and evening, they were always there but never intrusive, demanding or in the way. When the photos were ready to view, we were again blown away. They did an outstanding job of capturing our day. I cannot give them enough praise.The way they created our album tells a complete story from front to back. We will reach out to them for any photoshoots we may have in the future. Our photos were also picked up by Eugene Weddings magazine and they did a little story featuring us. This was a fun bonus after all of the preparation that went into planning the day.

We requested a meeting with them before booking services and had a phone call with David's wife. While we were on the call there were kids in the background screaming. Overall, their communication with us throughout the whole process before our wedding day was a little disorganized and unprofessional. The same occurred during the reception, a little disorganized, but music was playing the whole reception, he played the songs I requested, the sound system was good. The Photo Booth was self explanatory and the photos that were printed were great quality and there were unlimited prints.

For us, Oregon was a destination wedding so most of our communications was done via e-mail and phone - including Skype. He was very flexible in terms of how we chose to engage. If you have an exact list of songs, he can execute on that. If you just sort of know that you'd like a bit of pop most people in their 30's would like, he can execute on that. We needed him to bring 2 sound systems, which he did. He also provided some simple lights for the dance floor and extra mikes for the Reverend and for a speech by the Best Man. Our wedding was in the Willamette Valley so he had to travel from Eugene. David showed up in plenty of time and was set up appropriately.
