We used Forks and Corks to cater my son's wedding. They were by far better than any other catering company we have used for other occasions. They stayed in contact with me before the wedding day to make sure we had the same vision of the event. I never felt like I was a bother when I would call with multiple questions. On the wedding day, I had multiple guests comment on how much they were enjoying the great BBQ. The staff was friendly and professional. Kate was there to supervise and I felt really confident in them and could relax and enjoy my son's wedding day. Kate and the Forks and Corks team catered my wedding weekend which included a Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Cocktail Hour/Dinner and Sunday Celebration Brunch. I am a Dietitian by trade, foodie at heart so needless to say, my standards are HIGH when it comes to food. The Forks and Corks team put out flawless dishes of food for all 3 events and many of my guests said that it was "the best wedding food they had ever had." The entire team was professional and friendly. They remembered names and drink orders and made the entire experience feel personal. The food was delicious and gets 5 stars for quality, taste, presentation, freshness and creativity. A few personal favorites from the weekend included the Mini Carnitas Tacos, Mac + Cheese Croquets, Alder Smoked Salmon (my #1!!), heirloom tomato salad, tri-colored cauliflower (beautiful!), blueberry blintz souffle (I ate way too much!). As someone who has drunk her way through many Bloody Mary's in Portland, I would also like to say that Forks and Corks blew me away with their homemade Bloody Mary Mix!!!! Overall, Kate and the team provided excellent food as well as warm hospitality. I would highly recommend and wish we could do the whole weekend over again! P.S. Excellent food and service for a wedding reception. The salmon and beef were perfectly prepared and all the sides were delicious. All the servers were efficient and pleasant. The Vue is a lovely and classy place for a party. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

If I could give Forks & Corks Catering five more stars I would! Above bar service with the food and presentation to back it up in a nutshell. They were originally highly recommended by a local competitor of theirs (which says A LOT) as well as by Special Occasions, an event rental business in town that works alongside them regularly. From the first "please help me pull off a dinner party for 30-ish in three weeks" call to delivering impeccable service and product the night of I was blown away by how easy, enjoyable and tasty it was. Both local and out of town guests commented how good the food was and my mom was over the moon with her surprise 70th birthday dinner party. Thank you Forks & Corks Catering for taking the reigns on menu planning, dinner, setup, teardown, etc. and adding appetizers and bar service to the original just dinner plan. SO GLAD WE DID, and SO GLAD WE CHOSE FORKS & CORKS! -The food they prepared was wonderful- people went back for seconds....and thirds...! -The staff was very professional...even as a misty rain fell. Recent Bride here. Forks and Corks Catering is superb. Not only was the food 5 stars, but the service was beyond my wildest dreams! Showing a level of absolute professionalism above and beyond anything I'd ever seen, even having worked in the field myself prior, I would hire this caterer again in a heartbeat. During the planning process, the wonderful and friendly office staff were prompt to reply to my questions, and they offered delicious suggestions for our menu. The event crew arrived at my venue on time, and set the buffet tables beautifully. Before the ceremony even started, the event manager came up and asked me what I would like them to give me to drink after the ceremony, and made sure to give me and my groom the royal treatment throughout the night. My guests went crazy for the food, and many commented on how stellar the service was. The bartender handled the crowd well, making sure my guests had a blast! The crew stayed with us until the very end, and even helped clean up items that were not their responsibility, saving me the clean up panic. This Caterer is amazing, and if you want a stress-free day, go with them! read more

I had the pleasure of having Forks & Corks cater my daughter's recent wedding and a weekend BBQ the following day. Both events went off without any problems. The food we selected was prepared and served beautifully. Most importantly, everything tasted delicious. Numerous guests commented how much they enjoyed the food at both events. I do have one suggestion though that I think would have improved the overall experience working with this company. I would like to have received more prompt email responses. Too often, I had to wait nearly a week to hear back on my questions. I understand they are frequently busy and most likely growing their business but it may make better sense to direct email questions to other staff members so it doesn't prolong communication. In spite of this one concern, I would definitely hire Forks & Corks again should I need a caterer in the Corvallis/ Eugene area. read more

My wife and I and all our guests were very impressed with the food and service from Forks & Corks. I would highly recommend this service to anyone wishing to have a trouble-free, catered event. The serving staff were professional and kind. The food was absolutely excellent. The entrees, salad, potatoes, vegetables, and sauces were perfectly prepared and presented. An excellent array of beverages including very tasteful wild-berry lemonade and good coffee. Especially noted were the small and delicious sweet-bite sized deserts. We hired Forks and Corks for the catering of our wedding, and they were just fabulous. They went above and beyond to make everything wonderful, and the food was just perfect. Our guests from big cities all over the world were just so impressed with the food quality, both with the buffet and the dessert selections, I heard so many compliments about how awesome everything tasted. I had been so worried because we had a very uncertain guestcount-- they made sure we had plenty of food, and they packaged everything up for us at the end, and also handled the cleanup perfectly. They even coordinated with my venue to make sure they had everything they needed, and even brought backup tablecloths. Plus, everything was so smooth and wonderfully/ tastefully decorated. One of the staff even came up to the mic to offer a beautiful song during our karaoke portion! I never even had to say two things, they just arrived and took care of everything -- on top of that, super friendly and felt like family. A+ on all fronts, and a huge thank you for Kari and Courtney, who provided phenomenal help and support in planning and coordinating in advance. Forks and Corks did a fantastic job catering our recent retirement party. We hosted about 70 guests for a cocktail/small plate buffet. The food was very well presented in our theme and our guests said it was delicious. We also had a hosted bar with a signature Mai Tai drink that our guests loved. A "Chef Action Station" with the Imperial Wok (stir fried Tiger shrimp, veggies, noodles with sauce) was also a fun addition to our party. They have a wide ranging menu of items you can select from for your particular event. We were very impressed with the service, food, drinks and hospitality of Forks and Corks. I love Forks and Corks catering! I had 20 family members from out of town visiting for graduation weekend, and wanted to spend my time enjoying them, not cooking for them! Forks and Corks to the rescue! They did two events for me. They did a buffet dinner of tri-tip, salmon and four cheese ravioli as entree choices, with wild rice pilaf, green beans with toasted almonds, and salad with feta, red grapes and pomegranate honey vinaigrette. Everybody raved about the food! We then did an appetizer buffet on another day, with platters of antipasto, smoked salmon, flank steak, veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce, spinach dip, chicken caprese, and chicken ranch pinwheels, with rolls and toasts and crackers and dipping sauces galore. Lovely presentation throughout, excellent and professional service. Kate Lynch and her crew will take care of you with abundant, beautifully presented, delicious food. Their selection and flavors are 'modern' and 'fresh', and will please your guests. We had vegetarians, vegetable haters, and gluten free folks and were able to accommodate them all, and well, by using Forks and Corks. Can't wait to have another fun event to use them again! read more
