We planned a night stay at the Moxy as a local getaway for the weekend. The High Note is the bar connected to the hotel so it was a super convenient option. We arrived at 6pm and the seating was super safe for Covid/social distancing. They require you to wear a mask while walking around and entering the restaurant and staff wear a mask so I felt safe. The drinks were fairly priced and delicious! I loved the option to have the bartender make your drink based on two taste choices! Great place with a great vibe. I love the unique cocktail menu. The service was excellent too. If you are a hotel guest, you can enjoy bites from High Note along with a cocktail at the pool. I was here during the day at the pool with cocktails. It was relaxing and peaceful. I was back in the evening and it had a very fun vibe. You have to try their chicken sandwich. Very cool rooftop bar. Small bites spot but good food nonetheless. Arrive early to get prime seating and pack your patience as they do have slow service. Parking Tip: Do not valet park. Drive past the hotel on 14th street, hang a right on Crescent Ave and immediately on your right is a parking garage for $10 via an attendant. I didn't have cash and the guy let me Cash App him. Ok so I saw the reviews before I was invited here on a date but because I wasn't paying lol I still went. Let's begin with our server. He took more than 20 minutes to check on our table everytime. We were seated in a patio set. Luckily I didn't dress as I was instructed or I would have been greatly uncomfortable. We ordered drinks it took them 20 minutes to get out. We then ordered food at the same time. After waiting 45 minutes the server returned stating "I don't know if it's my fault or the kitchens but did y'all order food?" So we say uh yes and he says " what wAs it because they don't have any for you." So we repeat the order. We then proceed to wait another 30 minutes calling him back to the table and letting him know we'd just like to go somewhere else at this point. But as he's walking to kitchen our food comes out. Please see pictures below pork belly cut extremely too big! Raw on the inside! We are chefs this is not how you serve pork Belly. They serve grilled octopus for over 20 dollars and it's was two 3 cm pieces! That looked like salmonella! Wings were fried with absolutely no seasoning completely flavorless! This was a cute and chill rooftop bar. The views are okay only cause there is a bit of construction going on. My girlfriend and I didn't have a hard time finding a seat so no trouble there. Beautiful patio right next to the pool on the 6th floor. Came here on a Tuesday with my boyfriend for a drink. Beautiful layout. New hotel. I stayed at the moxy in downtown Chicago and was excited they brought this to my hometown. Drinks are good and priced reasonably. We didnt eat because my boyfriend is picky and wanted more options...but they have a pretty nice selection for a bar. Can't wait until it gets hot in Atlanta to come up with friends. Love that it's open to the public. I'm sure with a little music and more of a crowd it will be amazing. read more

The drinks were great and creative, lovely atmosphere, lots of laid back seating! And even the food is good! I was so pleased I went back in my own for a date! Met a friend here on Sunday & it's such a nice rooftop bar and the weather was pretty good to be out there. The setup is nice & they even have a few cabanas. They have heaters as well & they turned them on for us as the evening was getting colder. Our bartender/server was excellent and took great care of us. The prices were average for a hotel. We already ate so we just got drinks but the food menu looked really good so I'll be back to try somethings on it. For drinks my friend got the Unnamed that she liked a lot so she ordered another. My first drink was the 1919 which is like an old fashion which I enjoyed it &liked the hint of cocoa at the end. My second drink was the TKO & I liked the presentation of it but the drink itself is messing a little something, it wasn't bad but it needed something to bring the flavors together. I really like that it's open to the public and can't wait to check it out when it gets hotter and more people find out about it. read more

Absolutely NOT. Today's experience at High Note left my mood lower than what I anticipated the business to "invite" myself and my besties to join on a Friday afternoon. I read the reviews on OT regarding the limited menu after making reservations (which prompts me to leave this review). With that in mind, I was proactive about reading the menu before hand so we knew not to expect much. That joy was short-live when the waiter (Jaimen) shared that the wings were not worth it, took our order just to return 7 minutes later and ask what I ordered . I adjusted to this let down by ordering what I hoped would be a more "quick & simple" dish - The Kale Caesar Salad W/ Chicken, my friend ordered the Burger w/ no bun which arrived 10 minutes before the aforementioned Salad which after the 15 minutes mark I canceled from coming. The Drinks... French 75 (my signature) and a double shot of Top shelf tequila(& as a tequila connoisseur it was NOT- ). I am beyond disappointed . I'd say I'd come back as a last resort but honestly probably never even then. Great potential but pls... Do better read more

We stopped by here on a Saturday night before dinner for a drink. Prices are kind of expensive but they have some good cocktails and craft beers. It is right next to the hotel pool so there was a mix of people from there and people going out for the night. Service was a tad slow but nothing too terrible. We were excited when we arrived because the ambience was nice. But then the manager happened. With a 9:30 reservation for 8, the first guests arrived at 9:15. The birthday couple arrived at 9:45 and the manager rudely told them they only held tables for 15 minutes. She did not seat them. My husband saw them and brought them to where we were seated. Then the rules were laid down. With 5 people seated, no food orders could be taken, only drink orders until everyone arrived. Only 1 check would be allowed. We advised the server that there at of the party would not likely eat and to take the order for 5. The manager intercedes once again and told the sever not to take our order. The server advised us she had never heard of these rules. We determined it was not a good idea to spend our money here as it did seem as it was desired. Atmosphere was alright. Cute hotel layout and rooftop bar was set up for relaxing. Parking was a pain, either find street parking for a couple bucks or you're looking at 15-30 dollars elsewhere. Everything was a little over priced in my opinion but it was a Midtown hotel bar. Lack of servers was annoying. The couple of them that were available were only sticking to their "sections". No one was at the entrance when we arrive. I ended up having to look for help. The sever who was a male was very rude and asked us to wait back at the entrance where no one was there to greet us from the beginning. Then I watched him walk around for a bit acting as if he was cleaning off a table then came back over to my group waiting at the door and asked how many of us there would be.
