A few months ago we discovered Hideaway Pizza and loved it for our go to place for our weekly go to Sam's. That was until last Sunday, March 22, 2026 ... A person at the host stand gets our menus, drops one on the floor, picks it up and proceeds to go to the table to sit us. He places the dropped menu on the table. Before we sat down I asked him to replace the menu that he dropped. So he takes the dropped one and left get us a new one. Meanwhile, I take out my hand sanitizer and wipe the table and start drying it with a clean tissue. I turn it over and the tissue was BLACK, not even lightly black or brown. We decided at this point that we couldn't eat here. I did show the Kleenex to the host as we were leaving. He did take it from me. I hope he brought it to the manager's attention. I did send in this comment to the survey website since I had been given a business card to that before. Please tell me that your table tops have been scrubbed. I thought that I'd at least get an email, letting me know that this issue had been addressed...so far slience. Just one question. How long does it take for a table top to get that dirty? read more

The Fried Ravioli is the best appetizer I've had in a month or more; delicious. The full bar provided an array of tasty drinks, and we enjoyed them - but nothing stood out as unique. Plenty of pizza & pasta options, but we kept it simple with the Big Country Pizza - four kinds of meat and cheese, on a thin crust! Yumm! This pizza was simple, but exceptionally good! Well, we were passing through as always on our way to Eureka Springs we always stop here on way! Pizza was hot but wasn't the best this time! First time ever! We got fried Mushroom and wasn't cook all the way! Very disappointed after you pay almost 70 for food that wasn't very tasty!! Service was great as always! Must of been an off night! It's kind of a shame that some of the best New York style pizza in Arkansas has to find its way East from Oklahoma. We visited on Weds, Feb 22 before 5 pm. We were served almost immediately and I was enjoying a delightful order of 6 buffalo wings with chunky blue cheese and a schooner of Co-op F5 IPA within 10 minutes. Just as I was getting the last molecules of meat off a chicken wing flat, our piping hot pepperoni pizza arrived at our table. I love to judge a pizza place in its pepperoni pizza before I get deeper into a menu or even if I'll return. The crust was crackly on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Perfect! The cheese and pepperoni yielded just the right amount of grease as to profess it's fat content without rolling off a slice or down my chin. I'd like to come back and sit at the bar sometime and have some brews and bites and watch a game. The restaurant seems like it's Bricktown OKC themed so it seems a little dark inside. But, I was truly impressed with how well their system is working. I was expecting (and prepared for) "new restaurant" snafus and kinks, but experienced NONE! Bravo. Even, with a minor mistake in the bread that a sandwich in my party was made on (white vs. wheat) was promptly handled without skipping a beat, or causing our order to be delayed. Well even though it was a soft opening the Hideaway Pizza has there act together. We received all food in a timely manner and it was very good. We had the fried mushrooms and cheesy garlic bread for appetizers. For dinner we got the kids spaghetti and meat balls and a kids pizza. They devoured it! We watched 5 different servers walk past our table and not say a word to us, or any other table. We like to eat here about once a week. Always pleasantly greeted at the door. So far every meal has been flavorful and hasn't disappointed our palettes. One of our favorites is the hand tossed Maui Magic. Never would have dreamed mandarin oranges would work on a pizza but it does! We usually sit at the bar since it's just the two of us.
