Bouncers were charging $40 cover, pocketing some and they were just serving minors because they were too "busy" to check IDs

After Gordon Ramsey came and did the makeover and I saw a post that they were hoping to get more families coming in I was eager to give it a shot. I can't comment on the food as we didn't get an opportunity to eat. We walked in and met a not so pleasant bouncer checking ID's at 8pm and he insisted that because we had minors they had to be out by 10pm. I said that was fine as we just wanted to try their food. We found a table and sat down. After waiting for 10min or so and multiple waitresses walking by with glances but no comments we left. Had very high hopes as we live in Conway and love Gordon. For the college crowd it looks like they were enjoying themselves but for families or older crowd I wouldn't recommend. read more

Probably the worst customer's service ever! Preordered over the phone for dine-in. My friend and I went there for the happy hour special. No one greeted us when we walked in. We seated ourselves and waited almost 15 minutes yet still no one came to ask us for our drink order or anything. During the time, two waitresses were walking around & kept skipping our table. Even made eye contact with them several times. Yet, no one came to service us. When we got up to say something they claimed they didn't see us. What a pathetic excuse of a waitress because it wasn't even busy. Idk if they are racist, lazy, or maybe both but I don't plan on coming back to that ratchet place anytime soon. Did not pay for the meal we pre-ordered either because the crappy service made me leave in a bad mood! read more

We stopped by this afternoon while we were driving through Conway. Had to try the pizza after see Gordon Ramsay's face on the menu and hearing more about the recent TV episode. Well, we love it. We had the Margherita Pizza that Ramsay inspired. It was very very good. It tasted fresh and had great flavors. The staff was very fun and both the bartender and the serving staff were top-notch. Plus - great beer prices. You can't beat a great pizza and a $2 beer. Highly recommended!! read more

Pizza was good, waitress was good, margarita was okay, but not too bad, the highlight of everything was seeing Gordon's face all over the menu. Love it. Will be back and try some more pizzas and dips. The cheese dip was good too. read more

The pizza is really good for a dive joint. The drinks specials are great. Thevpatio is a nice place to hang and chill. Trivia is really fun....but the current DJ on Thursdays is terrible. He has decent song selection (even though he plays the same stuff every week) but his beat matching needs some work and his CONSTANT need to scratch ruins it. Let the track play, match the beat, then hit your fader and change the track. IF the crowd digs the track give them a rewind....but for Jebus sake stop trying to be the Arkansas version of DJ Craze. read more

The supreme cheap bar experience, divided into two ecosystems: the fratty beer drinkers who cluster inside, and the more edgy youths scattered on the patio with cigarettes. Solid service, inexpensive drinks ($1 gin & soda during happy hour, what a treat!) and a surprisingly strong lineup of musical acts who stop in every so often. Recently, the Bears Den has even begun serving a local IPA on tap from Little Rock based Diamond Bear. Certainly one stop in Conway I have begun to miss since leaving the area. read more

Cheap drinks! I think the low cost is acceptable since you may be fooled into thinking your drink has no alcohol whatsoever in it. Cheap alcohol. VERY cheap alcohol. Food isn't bad, but I wouldn't go here solely for the food. Service is good and experienced. Go with a group for a good time. Almost every night has some sort of group bar activity to join in. As a place to eat it's 3 star max. As a place to drink it's 3 stars due to lack of selection. They usually charge cover after 9:30pm. Tonight they decided to charge over before that. Not honouring their own well known policy because "it was busy". Never heard of a bar or business doing that in my life. It's unprofessional and honestly, irritating. They have no options to reserve tables (which would probably be a good idea to make more money on their part). No options for coat check. They do karaoke on weekends... I don't know about you but I don't want to hear that on a Friday night. Cater better to the younger demographic. There are 3 colleges in Conway. This is one of few bars to go to. People only tolerate this because of that reason and they exploit it. read more

This is one of the diviest of dive bars, but that's what makes it so special! I love dive bars. If you don't, this is definitely not the place for you. Super duper cheap beer - $1 drafts on Friday nights and karaoke! It's close to one of the local colleges in town and the crowd can be a little fratty sometimes, but that's just how things go in Conway. I love the high bar seats along the back - great for people watching! read more

Cheap good fun. In the best sense of all those things. In perhaps Conway's only hipster/dive bar. The interior looks like it's been around since the 1970s, but it actually opened in 2005. The pizzas are actually pretty great, everything else food wise is okay. Servers are usually sweet and generally speedy. Caveat: If you're here after 9 pm, and you're over the age of 25 then you're probably gonna feel OLD. To quote a wise friend, "There's people here who weren't even born when Quantum Leap (the TV show) ended". Or alternately, maybe you can be an energy vampire and drain some of these young'uns. It's your call. Here's a secret: The early happy hours here are destination for local college professors (UCA and Hendrix both). So older folk do patron here, but they do filter out as the night progresses. The drink specials are a terrific value and food is well priced for what it is. Did I mention cheap? Cheap! I went for lunch with a couple of co-workers. The place was fairly empty. We were seated quickly, got our drinks quickly, and had our order taken quickly. I ordered a calzone, and unfortunately there was a "problem with it, so they are making it again" according to the waitress. I waited another 20-25min, while my co-worker finished eating, and when they were done the waitress brought me my food. I politely explained that we were done eating, and she offered to box it up for me. I refused that, and she took it off of the bill, however she still charged me for my drink. I called and left messages, I emailed from the website... just to voice my complaint but haven't heard back. I'll give this one a pass, and make sure to point out to as many of our 1000+ employees as I can, not to bother. read more

Seriously, what is it with this place and their bathrooms? There was black mold growing all over the toilet bowl, which is disgusting. I wonder if they ever get cleaned, ever? There was no soap or paper towels in the ladies' room, the entire 5 hours I was there. so... just so you know the people handling your food and drinks probably haven't washed their hands after leaving the bathroom all day! Cheap booze is nice though. but not worth the unsanitary conditions. I shudder to think about what their kitchen looks like. read more

Yes it's cheap, but everyone is nice, you can get a whole pizza for 5 bucks and drinks are still super cheap. Honestly a college kids dream and trivia is a ton of fun. Never have had a bad time and it is definitely the top hangout place for college students. it's a wear what you want, no fricks given kinda place. If you are in to dive bars, the drink specials are worth it. I've never had their pizza, but the appetizers were nothing to crow about. We found our drunk servers from another place here after hours. This place does card which was nice to see after the rest of my time in the town. We didn't eat, just drank. It is pretty wild and the bouncers needed to kick many people out 3 drinks ago. Not bad but not a likely repeat. read more
