He had been handling money at the register and touching various surfaces before going back to prepare food. I asked the woman working there whether employees are required to wash their hands or wear gloves when making pizzas. Her response was shocking -- she told me they can't force employees to wash their hands. I was absolutely disgusted. When I asked the employee directly if he would please wash his hands before preparing my food, he nonchalantly informed me he was "just now getting ready to start" my pizza -- again, 40 minutes after I had originally ordered. To make matters worse, the woman I'm assuming was the manager had a visible attitude throughout the entire interaction rather than addressing the concern professionally.
