We first stopped at the south Sarasota facilility and were impressed by the employees who signed us up for portable storage at the warehouse facility. All the services Hide-Away Storage provides were explained to us with clarity answering all of our questions without hesitation. There was no sales pressure to sign the contract but an attitude of how can we help. When did sign we were under no pressure to start moving stuff or start any payments untill we started occupying storage space. Both warehouse managers called a week later to introduce themselves and let us know they were there to answer any questions and let us know they were available. Two weeks later we called ahead and when we arrived at the warehouse Ron, the warehouse manager, had a portable unit available and convienetly set up for us and the first thing he wanted to know was would we like a cup of coffee. I used the Ft Myers location for Hide-Away and am very very pleased with them and Steve in particular. I did not need to call him a week or a day before the delivery of the containers to confirm... he called me! They were in touch regularly and the company they suggested when I asked for helpers (Affordable Transfers) to move furniture and boxes into the containers were excellent. The driver Gary was gracious and both Steve and Gary notified me the day before, that the delivery time would be 9:30 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m. because the truck was being serviced and they would need time in the morning to load my 5 containers on the truck. This was the best moving decision I made, considering I was closing on my house before getting access to the new one. They were the best! We moved here from Colorado, using Smartbox Moving and Storage. We had some communication problems with Smartbox Moving and Storage, but they were able to deliver closer to our destination, by using Hide-away Storage. Hide-away Storage has been great.
