It was an ambitious move but I needed to do it and Door to Door set up my storage needs for me. Well they gave me a date when my stuff would arrive and said that they would contact me or the storage facility would. The date came and went and still no word.. Finally I was able to get in contact with an agent through Door to Door to tell me where my stuff was he emailed me the info and I called the Hideaway. The first person I spoke with was Buck and he was so AMAZINGLY nice. He apologized profusely for not contacting me sooner and had said that Door to Door has sent incomplete information on my container I.E. no contact info. I know right? Incredible! I spoke with Buck and he went over the different options of what I could do with my stuff have it delivered etc. I opted for the cheapest way and just asked if I could come down and get it, it ended up saving myself like 450.00 doing this way then having it delivered which was fine with me, what was even more excellent he waived the storage fee. 55. bucks knocked off for storage cost because I had only had my stuff their for like two weeks. I told him I'd let him know as soon as I could when I was coming down there. Well things came up and I wasn't able to get down to Sarasota for a good month and half. All the while Buck, and a sweetheart named Ron were idly patient with me. I finally was able to get down there just this past weekend. Ron was so nice when I met him and so incredibly helpful. He made a way for us to move our 5X8 trailer inside the facility so we wouldn't have to move in the hot sun, and even lended us a hand moving my couch and sectional in the trailer. To top it all off they even waived the fee again for me even though they could have rightfully charged me. Hideaway storage in Sarasota was AMAZING. The customer service was outstanding and above and beyond in every way. I would recommend this company to ANYONE for storage needs, seriously so awesome, so nice and so willing to work with you. We rented 4 units, filled three of them with items to move where they came and picked them up and took them to the new house. We could then unload them at our leisure. (ok, moving is anything but leisure!) The fourth box we put decorations in and are using as a "Holiday" box. They will take it to their environmentally controlled storage facility and for a small fee, store it for the year. We call them and they deliver it at no additional charge. Great way to move!

However, after calling a dozen or so movers in Tampa FL area, I found that Rob and Bay Area Moving and Storage were the only ones to take my next day job with a long distance hall. When I got on the phone with Rob, he was up front about the costs, the time estimates and he said 'I always keep my word' and HE DID. His team arrived next day, removed trash (30 garbage bags) including bulky items (old couch). They helped packed up remaining items and loaded a one bedroom apartment into their truck in about 3 hours. They then unloaded and stored items in their storage for about 3 weeks and drove them up to VA. Unloaded the truck in about one hour. Steep stairs and hard maneuvering included in both places! The items were really well organized, nothing was damaged including glass shelves, TVs and wooden items. All boxes were well handled. It didn't appear that anything has been dropped. Enjoyed working with this team. Highly recommend.
