On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations.

Despite providing specific details and signing an agreement for an 11 AM - 3 PM window, the company failed to honor nearly every verbal and written commitment. I took time off work based on a discussed 12 PM start time, yet at 1:08 PM, no one had contacted me. When I reached Jason, the schedule "shifted" multiple times in a single phone call--first to 1 PM, then to 3 PM--contradicting our agreement. To make matters worse, the estimated labor time suddenly jumped from 3 hours to 5 hours without explanation. Because they could no longer meet the timeline required to vacate my units by month-end, I cancelled and requested a refund of my $199 deposit. They refused, claiming it was non-refundable despite the fact that they breached the service window. A mover eventually called me an hour after I cancelled, admitting a last-minute job had been prioritized over my advance booking. This company lacks basic communication between the office and the field, showing a complete disregard for their clients' time, wages, and finances.

While I underestimated how long it would take to tear the old shingles and underlayment off, Jessie was flexible in his pick up time. For 4.3 tons of debris, I believe he didn't over charge. The gentlemen that Sam sent for the move were right on time as promised. These guys broke their backs moving my numerous boxes, couch, tv and bedroom set.
